problème installation phpmyadmin v2

Bonjour
J'avais déjà demandé de l'aide et on m'avait bien aidé à ce sujet mais:
J'ai changé de disque dur et j'ai tenté de réinstaller phpmyadmin mais quand je vais sur http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ j'ai le message suivant:

Merci j'ai réussi à relancer l'install mais je n'arrive pas me logger
j'ai le message : #1698 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost

Je pense avoir bien suivi les étapes comme la dernière fois mais je galère encore.

Et comment récupérer mes anciens tableaux et ma base de données sur mon ancien disque dur (utilisé comme disque externe mainteant) ?
