[RÉSOLU] Problème pilote scanner HP Photosmart b109a-m Ubuntu 20.04

[RÉSOLU]

Salut,

Je viens de passer à 20.04 et depuis le scanner avec lequel je n'avais jamais eu le moindre problème refuse de scanner, seule l'impression fonctionne.

Le matériel : imprimante HP Photosmart b109a-m connectée via USB et qui aura bientôt 10 ans.

Le problème : à l'ouverture de Simple Scan, je reçois un message « Logiciel supplémentaire nécessaire, vous devez installer le logiciel du pilote de votre périphérique de numérisation ».

Je clique sur le lien pour installer le pilote, demande du mot de passe et message « il semblerait que vous ayez un scanner HP. Pilotes installés avec succès ! Une fois installés vous devrez redémarrer cette application ». Là, je pense qu'il a installé HPLIP mais c'est juste une supposition.

Je ferme Simple Scan, le relance et... toujours ce message qui me demande d'installer un pilote.

Bonjour,

j'ai aussi une vielle HP et j'utilise des pilotes propriétaires. C'est ce que suggère de faire votre message d'erreur en tout cas. Le paquet hplip fait le café normalement (imprimante + scanner). Peut-être que le pilote propriétaire n'est plus inclus par défaut dans la nouvelle version d'ubuntu (simple hypothèse je n'en sais rien !)

Aidez-moi à faire connaître mon projet : RaidGHost, un hébergeur (presque :P) gratuit et sans publicité !

J'ai essayé d'installer hplip 3.20.3 depuis le site HP.
Déjà, ça me signale qu'il n'est pas compatible avec Ubuntu 20.04.
J'ai quand même tenté pour voir mais j'obtiens un message d'erreur à la fin : 

error: A required dependency 'python3-pyqt4 (PyQt 4- Qt interface for Python (for Qt version 4.x))' is still missing.
error: Installation cannot continue without this dependency.
error: Please manually install this dependency and re-run this installer.

Si j'ai bien compris :
hplip - Qt4
Ubuntu 20.04 - Qt5

Je me trompe ?

Ah... C'est toujours la misère d'installer des paquets qui ne sont pas dans les dépots. Je n'ai pas de ubuntu sous la main mais tu as essayé d'installer le paquet demandé via apt ou dpkg ? Sinon essaye d'installer la version non gui de hplip (juste la ligne de commande), au moins là il ne devrait pas y avoir besoin de qt.

C'est pour compiler hplip à la main. Manifestement il y a une option pour passer en qt5. Donc il faut récupérer les sources de hplip, et taper les commandes qu'ils te donnent dans le lien que tu as trouvé. Il faudra sans doute installer pas mal de trucs pour la compilation si tu n'as jamais fait ça auparavant. Dans les dépots tu peux aussi récupérer les sources si tu ne trouves pas sur le site d'HP.

./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-qt5 --disable-qt4

Mais 

make

ne passe pas, la réponse est :

make: *** Pas de cible spécifiée et aucun makefile n'a été trouvé. Arrêt.

j'ai loupé un truc ?

Edit : Oui, j'ai oublié python-dev
Ça donne :

sudo apt-get install python-dev
cd Téléchargements
cd hplip-3.20.3
./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-qt5 --disable-qt4
make
sudo make install

Bonsoir,
J'ai posté moi aussi un message concernant l'installation de Xubuntu 20.04 et d'une imprimante Laserjet CP 1025 color ; hplip 3.20.3 est dans les dépôts et a même été installé automatiquement. Pour terminer l'installation de la HP, un plugin propriétaire est requis et en principe son installation se lance automatiquement. Cette fois, j'ai dû l'installer en console avec la commande : hp-plugin -i. Mais dès qu'il est installé, le glisser-déposer ne fonctionne plus entre le menu application et le Bureau, le tableau de bord ou le Dock. J'ai fait une tentative d'installation à la main avec hplip.run ; à un moment, effectivement, l'installateur demande des dépendances manquantes manifestement.
J'ai réinstallé tout le système 2 fois pour bien vérifier que c'était l'installation du plugin propriétaire qui entraînait la neutralisation de la fonction glisser-déposer. Hplip installé depuis les dépôts, avant l'installation du plugin, n'entraîne aucun dysfonctionnement. Enfin, sur la page de test de l'imprimante on lit :
Driver : hp-laserjet_cp_1025.ppd
Driver version : 3.18.12  ....alors que la version installée depuis les dépôts (Synaptic) est la 3.20.3 !
Peut-être que la commande en console hp-plugin -i installera aussi le plugin propriétaire pour votre scanner.
Vos informations vont aussi me permettre de poursuivre mes recherches concernant notamment qt4 et qt5.

Aucun intérêt. L'imprimante "HP PhotoSmart All-in-one Printer - b109a" a besoin d'hplip >= 3.9.10.

Petite question : elles sortent d'où toutes ces commandes que tu nous donnes : dpkg -l | grep sane, etc... ?
Il y a plein de commandes sauf la plus importante : celle qui installe l'imprimante.

Pour la seconde question, les deux. J'ai d'abord fait une mise à niveau. Comme j'avais ce problème, j'ai refait une installation fraîche depuis un DVD.

Si le scanner ne fonctionne pas. Essaie d'installer le plugin

Cela veut juste dire qu'il n'y avait aucune imprimante HP à supprimer

Et voici le retour pour hp-setup -iax après avoir sélectionné une connexion USB

error: No device selected/specified or that supports this functionality.

Le truc qui m'épate c'est que l'imprimante fonctionne nickel, y'a juste le scanner qui ne veut rien savoir.


Édition : après installation des paquets python-gobject et python-gobject2, j'ai réussi à installer le greffon propriétaire mais Simple Scan ne veut toujours rien savoir.
La commande hp-setup -iax renvoie toujours la même erreur.

Là c'est clair.
hp-setup ne voit pas ton imprimante. Allume-là, change le port USB, change le câble USB, redémarre l'ordi. Bref, fait en sorte que hp-setup voit ton imprimante.
Donne éventuellement

On peut définitivement éliminer un problème matériel, le scanner fonctionne avec l'application HPSmart sous W10, je viens tout juste d'essayer.
J'ai changé de port USB et redémarré, pareil.
Le problème est apparu au passage à 20.04 et je le rappelle, seul le scanner ne fonctionne pas, l'imprimante fonctionne parfaitement.

Voici le retour de

J'avais rajouté le retour de hp-check -t dans mon message précédent, je crains que l'incompatibilité de hplip avec 20.04 ne soit le vrai problème.

L'imprimante B109a-m n'est pas explicitement dans la liste des imprimantes supportées par hplip. C'est peut-être liée au fait que hp-setup ne la voit pas.

J'ai aussi trouvé cette question et ai installé hplip-gui mais je ne peux même pas l'ouvrir.

Après lecture de la question que tu as mis en lien, je suis allé modifié le fichier « models.dat » en suivant la méthode de Mubeen Jukalu :
« Open /usr/share/hplip/data/models/models.dat as root(sudo)
replace photosmart_b109a_series with photosmart_b109a-m »

Chez moi, c'est la ligne n° 2754 [photosmart_b109a_series] qui devient [photosmart_b109a-m]

Et là...

Simple Scan

Et en plus ça fonctionne !
J'en crois à peine mes yeux !
Pour la peine, je vais scanner un dictionnaire, tiens !

Je ne comprends rien à cette question. Normalement hplip est dans les dépôts et il n'y a rien à faire.

Le scanner fonctionne ! L'astuce de folie pour le faire fonctionner.
