Je souhaiterais avoir des lumières sur les résultats du short-self-test réalisé sur un disque dur externe avec Gsmartcontrol, que voici :

Les deux lignes importantes sont celles ci :

196 Reallocated_Event_Count 0x0032   100   100   000    Old_age   Always       -       86

86 secteurs on été réalloués sur des secteurs de rechange
19 secteurs sont en attente de réallocation
==> Une partie du disque dur est inutilisable.

Le plus sûr est de changer ce disque dur avant qu'il ne se dégrade encore plus. Le minimum à faire est d'en sauvegarder le contenu sur un autre disque dur.

La partie inutilisable est-elle importante en proportion ?
Ai-je une chance d'améliorer la situation en le formatant ?

Formater un disque défectueux ne répare rien. Les secteurs défectueux le resteront. Je ne sais pas quelle partie du disque est HS.

Je répète que la meilleure idée est de changer de disque.
