[RESOLU] boot-repair n'aime pas mon bios
Bonjour à tous,
Je viens vers vous car j'ai des soucis pour l'installation de xubuntu sur mon pc.
J'en suis au point où j'ai xubuntu d'installé sur mon disque dur, mais qui ne se lance pas sans passer par super grub2 disk.
D'après ce que j'ai pu lire, ce serait un probleme de BIOS.
J'ai donc essayé d'effectuer une réparation via boot-repair disk comme indiqué partout sur internet.
Hélas j'ai ce message qui s'affiche:
"La session en cours est en mode de compatibilité BIOS. Veuillez désactiver le mode BIOS-compatibility/CSM/Legacy dans votre firmware UEFI, et utiliser ce logiciel depuis un live-UBS qui est compatible avec le mode de démarrage UEFI.
[...]
Cela vous permettra d'utiliser cette fonctionnalité.
J'ai donc fais une clef en live-USB via Rufus avec boot-repair disk mais le résultat est le même.
En ce qui concerne mon bios j'ai cherché partout je ne trouve pas comment désactiver ce qui m'est demandé. Je ne trouve pas l'option en question.
J'ai pourtant regardé plusieurs tuto qui expliquent où se trouve l'option sur une carte Asus (j'ai une M5 A7 8L LE).
Avez vous une idée pour réparer grub autrement ou par miracle savez-vous comment désactiver l'option en question?
Remettre la carte en version usine pourrait résoudre le problème peut-être?

Bonsoir , malheureusement pour toi , le CSM est le mode par defaut generalement , mais tu peux tout de meme essayer .
Peux tu donner le retour ( voir lien en bas de mon message pour la procedure ) de la commande suivante stp :

Alors , je ne trouve pas le modele exact de la carte sur le site asus.com , donc impossible de dire si ton BIOS est a jour .
Mais vu que ta carte ne supporte pas le USB 3.0 ni le SATA 6.0 GB/s , cela m' etonnerait quelle est une option EFI / CSM .
je dirais qu ' il y a donc un bug quelque part .
pourrais tu fournir un boot-info pour qu ' on y voit plus clair stp ?

J'ai parcouru en détail le mode d'emploi du bios de ta carte mère. https://www.modes-d-emploi.com/manuals/ … 8l-le.html
Il ne sait pas du tout gérer EFI.
Lance donc boot-repair et ignore ses deux conseils de réparation EFI, il finira par réparer ton installation EFI en la mettant LEGACY.
The boot of your PC is in BIOS-compatibility/CSM/Legacy mode. You may want to retry after changing it to UEFI mode.Mais, il faudra d'abord lancer le gparted du support d'installation et remplacer le drapeau de boot EFI de la partition SDA1 par un drapeau de boot Bios-boot. bios-grub
puis ne pas faire la réparation conseillée qui ferait de l'EFI mais piloter pour faire du légacy.
L'autre solution étant de booter avec supergrub2 ou de le lancer via un chroot https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/chroot et de faire toute la réparation en ligne de commande en virant le logiciel EFI,
en installant gparted afin de faire le changement de drapeau
et en installant le logiciel de boot LEGACY

Normalement la version 20.04 gère correctement une installation LEGACY contrairement à la version 21.04 https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2060928
Cependant la réparation ne me semble pas si compliquée que cela
Il me semble que les lignes de commandes a faire depuis le support d'installation sont
1 ) Essayer avant d'installer
2 ) Lancer gparted
3) Mettre le drapeau bios-grub sur la partition SDA1
4) quitter gparted et monter la partition UBUNTU
sudo mount -v /dev/sda2 /mnt5) refaire l'installation
sudo grub-install --root-directory=/mnt/ /dev/sda6) Je ne sais pas trop s'il faudra virer le grub EFI ou pas. On verra bien ce qui va se passer.

Le problème est résolu !
Ou du moins mit sous le tapis.
J'ai simplement fait l'installation via clef USB de la version 20.4 LTS et tout s'est passé comme sur des roulettes.
Comme quoi parfois il faut pas grand chose... .

Bonsoir.
Je viens de voir que SDB2 est une partition NTFS de données de 1000 Go et qu'il n'y a pas de logiciel windows pour s'assurer de sa stabilité.
Je te conseille de sauver ses données et de supprimer SDB1 et SDB2 puis de faire une partition en EXT4 ou EXFAT. Puis de restaurer.

On ne sait jamais ce qui peut se passer. Les meilleurs outils de réparation des partitions NTFS ne sont pas ceux fournis par UBUNTU.
