Bonjour.

Un problème qui devient sérieux car répétitif, et potentiellement très gênant.

Tranquille quelque temps je pensais que les MAJ allaient résoudre le problème, qu'il s’agissait juste d'une version foireuse de noyau.
Mais non.

Contexte: PC avec un seul DD, carte radeon (pilote proprio inexistant) 3 ubuntus (aucun problème avec les deux autres16.04).
Le système courant que j'utilise quotidiennement et qui pose problème est le 20.04.
Suite au message d'erreurs j'ai procédé au vérifs SMART du DD (un WD 1To), aucun soucis.
Ah oui: je n'utilise que des noyaux lowlatency, mais j'ai du mal à croire que ce soit lié.

Problème: Impossible de booter.

Le classique et quasi constant est celui-ci:

Plus rarement, j'ai pu avoir celui-ci:

Et une seule fois j'ai eu ce message (et testant le noyau- 84 generic):

Merci si vous savez comment récupérer des logs de tout début de boot!

état actuel:Avant de post ici j'ai procéder à des verifs (maj de grub, recovery mod, test des autres version de noyaux).
Le résultat est quelque peu perturbant, puisque suite aux essais je n'ai plus pu booter sur mon ancien noyau 5.4.0-71 qui me servait de secours, alors que j'ai pu le faire des dizaines de fois avant!
Ça c'est quand même très curieux.
J'ai aussi eu aussi un des noyaux qui m'a parlé de radeon inaccessible. Désolé pour l’approximation je fait tout de tête sans savoir comment récupérer ses logs.

Je suis donc assez frileux de tester des reboots, dans la crainte de ne plus pouvoir booter (et je ne pense pas que boot repair soit d'une quelconque utilité).
Dans ce sens j'ai ré-installé des ancienne version (au pif) -70 -72 -67 en espérant que quand l'une bloque les autres me sauveront.

Je n'ai pas trouvé d'autre message similaire à part un vieux fil: ici.
Une situation pas très rassurante!

Salut,

Si ce n'est déjà fait, installe Smartmontools avec :

sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends smartmontools

Ensuite, lance cette commande et donne le retour :

 sudo smartctl -s on -a /dev/sda

Donne aussi le retour de :

dmesg

A+

Pour commencer, débranche le câble sata de ton disque dur et rebranche le. Ensuite, essaye de le laisser démarrer seul.

Ensuite, essaye de le laisser démarrer seul.

Je ne comprends pas ce que tu veux dire par là. J'ai 1 seul disque.

Par contre je n'ai pas pu rebooter sur le -67 alors que je t'ai répondu précédemment depuis celui-là.
Ce coup-ci j'ai pu avec le -72.

Pour commencer, débranche le câble sata de ton disque dur et rebranche le.

Au fait, on est bien d'accord qu'il ne s'agit pas de faire ça à chaud, mais bien PC éteint avec alim coupée?

Oui bien-sur que le -84 à été testé, le dernier noyau est lancé par defaut par grub. C'est là que j'ai retrouvé mon problème, qui été apparu avec
le noyau 5.4.0-73 (et que je croyais à tord résolu).

Non.

Je trouve ce fil > avec des paramétrages pour la carte

Ce n'est pas mon intuition. J'ai bien un écran noir quand le boot rate, mais avec ctrl+alt+f1 j'ai les logs qui me parlent de hdd error [DRDY err].
Mais pas de pb d'affichage pour l'instant, ni depuis 2012 avec aucun système.

La seule erreur visible, dans dmesg est que le système a un problème avec le CPU1 a un moment. Le problème est que le message n'indique rien d'intéressant.
Que donne ceci ?

journalctl -p err

Dans le sujet que tu as créé sur Askubuntu, quelqu'un t'a demandé si tu avais testé en session live. Apparemment non. Je voudrais que tu testes la 20.04.1. Le but est de démarrer avec un système propre, la même série de noyau 5.4. J'ai vu que tu utilise Xfce et non Gnome, mais il n'y a pas d'iso Xubuntu 20.04.1 téléchargeable.

As-tu essayé de démarrer avec un noyau classique non lowlatency ?

Pour toucher aux câbles Sata, il fallait bien arrêter le PC et couper l'électricité.

J'ai fait un édit du 1er message, pour rajouter un autre type de message d'erreur, qui arrive peu souvent. La non reproductibilité des comportements (bons ou mauvais) ne facilite pas la chose.

La seule erreur visible, dans dmesg est que le système a un problème avec le CPU1 a un moment.

Ok merci, ça élimine toujours des causes.
N'est-ce pas parce que j'ai de dmesg d'un boot réussit, et non celui de quand ça déconne?
N'existe-il pas de méthode pour récupérer les logs d'un boot qui n'aboutis pas? (ce que j'ai pris en photo sur askubuntu).

Moi ce que j'en comprends c'est qu'un truc bizarre car non reproductible viens embêter le démarrage, au niveau disque, et que ça viens et ne concerne que ubuntu20.04.
J'ai un swap en partition primaire, puis 3 / dédié aux 3 systèmes, puis plusieurs autres de données, dont évidement une /home partagée pour tout les user des systèmes. Le drapeau boot est sur la partition système de U.20.04
Il n'y a aucun problème pour les autres système.

Pour journalctl -p errn combient tu en veux?

J'ai installé la 20.04.1, j'attends toujours la .1, je connais ubutnu depuis 2008. C'est d'ailleur pourquoi j'aurai toujours au moins deux systèmes, pour toujours garder l'ancien qui marche!
Ha! excusez moi mais j'ai posté ici parceque il est écris "pb démarage", mais ce n'est pas une nouvelle installation, je l'ai fait le mois où est sortis la 20.04.1, soit plus d'un an. Le problème est apparue le jour ou j'ai fait le post sur askubuntu, soit récement.
Je croisd que vais tenter un grub instal.
Je vais aussi tester le noyau generic.
Si je dois tester le live ça sera plus tard car ça va me prendre du temps, je ne suis toujours pas passé au live usb (car je susi adepte du netinstal), et AUCUN installateur live n'a jamais fonctionné sur cette machine(!), à ma grande surprise car les systèmes eux fonctionnent nikel, 3d, ect.

J'ai oublié: j'ai trouvé pleins d'infos avec le message d'erreur: attempt to read/write outside of DH0
Mais pour le coup il y en a trop, avec plein de solution différente, il va falloir faire le tri. Mais bon ça donne une bonne nouvelle piste.
Sur un sujet aussi critique que l’amorçage j'aimerai quand même bien savoir qu'est-ce qui déconne, et pourquoi. (je fait souvent des install)

J'ai testé les deux noyaux générique 5.4.0-86 et -84: rien de mieux, mais ce dernier a donné un nouveau message d'erreur (encore un youpi!)

Comment un tel problème peut-il dépendre du noyau? yikes

Sinon je me disait aussi que c'est bizarre les autres messages d'erreur qui parlent de sde alors que je n'ai qu'un seul disque, donc sda.

C'est long de faire ces tests, à chaque fois je flippe de ne pouvoir rebooter, je ne peux pas souvent me le permettre, désolé!

Hier j'ai pu booter sur le dernier noyau sans soucis, suite à des MAJ (il y en a souvent ces temps ci).
Donc c'est le même scénario que la dernière fois, toujours aucune explication.
Je testerai quand même les différents noyaux à l’occase.
Je suis toujours preneur d'info, ce problème potentiel inexpliqué est contraignant.

Bon, le problème reste entier. Je suis toujours preneur d'info.
Si c'est un problème disque, le contrôle smart devrait le détecter non? Et puis un problème disque qui n’apparaît que au boot, bizarre.
Peut ton récupérer les logs d'un démarrage raté?
J'ai chopé un virus ou quoi? hmm

Bonjour , dans l ' image on voit deja qu ' il y a une erreur avant , et l ' ordi demande que tu donnes le retour de :

cat /proc/cmdline
cat /proc/modules
ls /dev

Ca ressemble fortement a un probleme de disque dur .

il faudrait demarrer a partir d ' un autre OS , sur une autre partition et verifier le systeme de fichier de ta partition systeme et /home de ta 20.04 .
avec ( il me semble )

sudo fsck -y -f -v /dev/partition20.04

et pareil avec le /home .
