[abandon] Le GRUB n'apparait pas au démarrage
Bonjour,
Suite à des problèmes avec Ubuntu 22,04, j’ai voulu revenir à Ubuntu 20,04. Mais ça ne s’est pas bien passé et je me suis retrouvé où l’ordinateur au démarrage n’affichait qu’un tiret clignotant.
J’ai réinstallé Windows 10 (heureusement, j’avais le DVD). Ça a marché. Ensuite j’ai installé Ubuntu 20,04 avec la clé Ventoy. Mais malgré plusieurs installations, l’ordi ne démarre que sur Windows. Pas de choix au départ.
Mon ordi c’est un HP Laptop 15-bw055nf avec disque dur 1 TO, 4096 Mo de SDRAM .
J’ai fait plusieurs fois boot-repair, mais ça n’a rien changé, mais j’ai le message :

Bonjour.
Il semble que tu aies mal fait le copier/coller du lien boot-info.
Pour forcer l'affichage de ce menu lorsque votre système Ubuntu est configuré de telle sorte qu'aucun menu ne s'affiche au démarrage, appuyez sur la touche [Échap] (ou [ESC]) ou sur la touche [⇧ Maj] (ou [⇧ Shift]) et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu'à ce que le menu d'amorçage s'affiche. La durée pendant laquelle vous pouvez utiliser ces touches étant relativement courte, il vous faudra peut-être plusieurs essais.

J'ai refais une instal d'ubuntu avec Ventoy j'ai ensuite fait boot info:

Si tu ne sais pas faire apparaitre le grub, en faisant la manipulation décrite.
installe boot-repair. https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/boot-repair
Normalement, il y a une phrase française 'réparation recommandée'
sur laquelle tu devras cliquer.
puis au boot, le menu grub devrait apparaitre
tu choisiras la seconde ligne 'mode avancé ´
tu choisiras une ligne avec ´recovery' puis la ligne ´resume ´

Le Bios de ton ordi est verrouillé volontairement par le fabricant HP : bien que Ubuntu soit en priorité de démarrage (*) comme on peut voir dans le Boot-info du post #9, le démarrage se fait toujours sur Windows. Tu as déjà rencontré le même problème en 2018 puisque j'ai retrouvé cette discussion créée par toi à l'époque : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=21856560
La solution t'a été donnée dans le post #3 de cette ancienne discussion : "Appuie sur la touche F9 en même temps que tu mets sous tension pour pouvoir choisir". Peux-tu confirmer que cette solution fonctionne toujours et te permet de démarrer ton Ubuntu installé ?
(*) c'est dans la partie "UEFI" du Boot-info : on peut voir que BootOrder commence par 0003 :

En appuyant sur la touche F9 l'ordi démarre bien sur Ubuntu. Mais au redémarrage, le grub n'apparait pas, et c'est windows.
J'aimerais malgré tout retrouver la possibilité de choix au départ...
Mais après avoir installé 16.04, j'avais installé 18.04 et j'avais le choix au démarrage ensuite j'ai installé 20.04 avec toujours le choix.
Maintenant après avoir installé 22.04 c'est là que ça a foiré...

Peut-être que tu avais fait cette manipulation
If your UEFI firmware does not allow to change the boot order, change the default boot entry of the Windows bootloader.
For example you can boot into Windows, then type the following command in an admin command prompt:
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi
et qu'une mise à jour de windows l'a supprimée. Elle serait alors à refaire.

oui, en appuyant sur F9, j'ai bien un fenêtre "gestionnaire d'amorçage avec:

Gestionnaire de démarrage du SE (UEFI) - ubuntu (ST1000LMO35-1RK172)
Démarrage depuis le fichier UEFI
Disque dur portable - ST1000LH035-1RK172Donc je peux utiliser ubuntu
faut pas que je traine pour appuyer sur la touche F9 !

je suis allé dans windows, j'ai ouvert l'invite de commande
j'avais donc
c:\Users\jean-j'ai copié l'adresse
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efij'ai eu le message "impossible d'ouvrir le magasin de données de configuration de démarrage. Accès refusé"
je suis remonté sur c:\ j'ai copié le même message et eu la même réponse.
j'ai du manquer quelquechose???

Merci pour tes précisions du post #16. Effectivement, l'appui (rapide) sur F9 au démarrage fait d'abord apparaître le "Boot menu" - c'est à dire le menu proposé par l'ordi lui-même - dans lequel il faut sélectionner la ligne mentionnant "ubuntu" et la valider. Après ça, le menu Grub doit apparaître.
Je viens d'ajouter une ligne HP 15-bw055nf dans la Liste des portables HP
Pour mémoire, ce modèle dont les caractéristiques détaillées sont visibles sur cette page du site LaptopSpirit, est équipé d'un processeur AMD A9-9420, La partie graphique Radeon R5 est intégrée au processeur (il n'y a pas de carte graphique dédiée).

Comme je disais en #12, il peut être intéressant de modifier les options de /etc/default/grub afin de les ajuster à tes desiderata au démarrage, sans oublier de valider ces modifications par un
apt grub_update. Ces modifications peuvent concerner l'affichage ou non du menu grub au démarrage, la durée de cet affichage, l'OS à lancer en priorité en cas de multiboot, etc ...
