PC sous ubuntu 24.04 LTS lent, lent, lent...
Salut,
Je besoin d'un coup de main pour essayer de comprendre ce qui arrive à mon PC portable sous ubuntu 24.04LTS, je le trouve très lent pourtant il est récent et plutôt bien équipé mais dès que j'ouvre quelque chose d'un peu lourd il freeze totalement je suis obligé d'attendre plusieurs secondes avant de pouvoir réutiliser le pc pourtant rien n'est saturé dans la montée en charge ni le processeur, ni la ram (dont j'ai étendue la swap à 16Go) ni le ssd nvme avec l'outil de monitoring...
bref je ne sais pas ce qui se passe mais ça fait des mois que ça dure et ça me fatigue beaucoup j'ai l'impression de revenir en 2016 avec mon vieux PC portable...
Alors que là j'ai:
- core i7 1355U (certes c'est un low consommation mais quand même on est sur du récent...)
- 16 Go de ram avec swap de 16Go
- SSD nvme de 512Go
Bref sur le papier normalement ça devrait gérer...

sudo apt upgradePuis, lorsque tu auras un nouveau freeze, aussitôt que tu pourras reprendre la main.

j'ai fait les mises à jours, j'ai mis le retour plus haut, tout est à jours excepté les mise à jours par phases donc rien d'anormal.
Je vais essayer de creuser pour le ligne en question

J'ai viré snap rating donc ça c'est réglé, effectivement la majorité des moments ou ça lag/freeze c'est au lancement de chrome mais étrangement sur l'appli de monitoring le processeur monte bien en charge mais pas à 100%.
C'est mon pc de boulot donc il y a effectivement 15 programmes qui tournent en même temps et parfois un peu lourds.
effectivement j'ai touché au swap pour le passé par défaut de 2Go à 16Go lorsque j'ai 30 onglets ou plus activés et plusieurs sessions chrome en même temps plus des VM + phpstorm + plusieurs docker.
(ça parait beaucoup mais je suis développeur web donc ceci explique en partie celà)

je voulais pas parler du swap directement , mais des réglages du swap que l' on peut voir section 3.1 de la page swap par exemple . qui soit dit en passant est désuète .
Sinon , a première vue pas de soucis dans le retour de top .
la piste de @geole , est ce qui me semble le plus pertinent .
retour COMPLET et utilisable de commande | script montage partition ext4

Le problème n'est pas lié à chrome Mais bien à ratings.. Je n'ai pas encore compris son utilité.

merci pour vos réponses,

j'avais espoir avec ratings de pouvoir voir les commentaires des gens dans le centre d'application Ubuntu et potentiellement pouvoir en laisser aussi mais ça ne fonctionne pas, j'ai trouvé aucun moyen de voir les commentaires de gens sur les snaps, on a les notes mais l'accès aux commentaires est impossible ou en tous cas je n'ai pas trouvé comment faire.
Si vous avez une idée pour ça...
