Firmware updater : device updatable ou pas ?
bonjour,
Venant de changer de DD je regarde un peu sous le capot et un truc m'interpelle.
un fwupdmgr m'indique des devices upgradable :

@iznobe, merci pour ces référence que j'ai déjà consulté sans vraiment obtenir de réponse. Après visite sur le site fwupd.org/lvfs/devices/ je n'ai pas trouvé d'update pour les devices évoqués. Ma question évoque l'apparente contradiction des réponses de fwupmng.

Les firmwares " proprietaire " comme boradcom ou bien d' autres marques ne sont pas ( à mon avis ) sur le site en question .
mais le même fwupdmgr semble se contredire lorsque je tentes l'upgrade
oui enfin , c ' est pas comme ca qu ' on fait la MAJ , sinon je n' aurai pas pris la peine de chercher un lien en francais qui explique precisément comment faire 
Et on peut faire la mise à jour du firmware avec
fwupdmgr refreshfwupdmgr get-updatesfwupdmgr update
Certainement preecede de " sudo " pour certaines .

En meme temps apple est tellement reputé pour etre libre et opensource ........ je ne vois rien d' etonnant a ca puisqu ' ils font tout exactement l' inverse encore pire que windobz pour que les clients se transforme en " POIRE " 
ou en vache à lait .

il y a aussi que " Updatable " ne signifie pas qu ' une MAJ est dispo , ca signifie seulement qu ' il est possible de mettre à jour ce peripherique .
