Quand le mot de passe wpa a plus de 26 caractères; comment faire pour l'introduire avec exalt sous e17.  Pour l'instant, je n'ai pas de problèmes car j'emploie sous gnomenetworkmanager ous sous kde knetworkmanager qui me permettent de faire ce que je veux, mais si par exemple, je lance monpc et démarre avec e17 et si j'emploie exalt, il ne détecte pas de réseau et si j'introduis manuellement les données, je ne peux utiliser que maximum 26 caractères alors que j'en ai 63.  Merci!

J'avait lu quelque part que 26 caractères etait le maxium possible, mais je ne trouve plus ou ...
Je vais enlever cette limite.

bon le cvs est a jour, j'ai enlevé la limite des 26 caractères. Pour les types de cryptages WPA je n'en ai mis que 2 mais il y en a beaucoup d'autre. Si certains en veulent d'autres il suffit de demander.

J'en ai profité pour ajouter le module dans le cvs (voir le 1er mesasges que j'ai mis a jour). Mais il n'est pas fini et il n'est pas possible de configurer la commande à utiliser, pour le moment c'est "gksu /usr/local/bin/exalt" (je sais les ubuntiste vont pas aimer )

Tout marche très bien et c'est bien plus instinctif au niveau de l'interface qu'avant, en gros c'est génial !!!

J'ai fait une petite mise a jour pour:
- correction de la traduction francaise de exalt, qui etait completement a la ramasse
- ajout de la fenetre de configuration et du fr pour le module

Pour ceux qui ont deja installé le module, vous pouvez supprimer ~/.e/e/modules/exalt , le module s'install dans un dossier different a present. Bien sur le module actuellement cargé ne se rechargera pas au prochain démarrage de e.

J'ai besoin de votre aide ubuntiste.
Quelquun' utilisant le wifi pourrait me donner le contenu de son fichier /etc/network/interfaces. Je suis en train de modifier le chargement de ce fichier et il faudrait que je puisse tester.

c'est bon, j'avait encore une sauvegarde de mon fichier lorsque j'etait sous Ubuntu.

J'ai réinstallé exalt pour e17.  On ne parle effectivement plus de limite de caractères dans le mot de passe; le mien en comprend 63 mais à part le texte qui a disparu, on ne peut toujours pas faire de mots plus long dans les deux types de wpa.  En outre, network manager pour gnome détecte automatiquement les réseaux, il en est de même pour knetworkmanager, tandis que exalt ne semble rien détecter du tout.  Encore un petit bug constaté :  Une fois les données introduites , exalt se ferme.  Je possède ubuntu feisty avec le dernier kernel qui ne considère plus la wifi comme wlan0 mais comme eth1.  Auparavant, je pouvais employer kwifimanager ou wifi radar dans gnome ou kde, mais depuis que l'interface wifi a été renommée eth1, cela ne fonctionne plus.  Par contre le wpa fonctionne très bien depuis le nouveau kernel.

Comme je l'ai dit précédemment; ça n'a pas beaucoup d'importance car si je veux naviguer sur le net avec e17, je démarre le réseau wifi sous kde ou gnome mais comme exalt existe pour e17, j'essaie, lol.  Voilà mes petites réflexions sur exalt.  Il y a sans doute une manipulation erronée de ma part ?  Bonne journée!

pour le probleme de la limite de caractere, as tu recompiler libexalt ?

Exalt detecte les réseaux normalement. Peut tu le démarrer depuis le terminal ? (et en root donc ...)

Tu utilise bien Ubuntu/Debian ou Gentoo ?

petite update: j'ai amélioré le support du daemon wpa_supplicant. Si le daemon n'est pas lancé exalt essaye de le lancer.

Bonjour; il y a quelques semaines que j'essaie d'installer exalt.  Pour e réseau je n'ai pas de problèmes, je démarre avec networkmanager ou knetworkmanager sous gnome ou kde.  Cependnat, j'utilise souvent e17 qui me plaît pas mal et est fort en évolution.  Si je j'emploie directement le gestionnaire e17 sans passerd'abord par gnome ou kde, je n'ai pas de connection.  J'ai essayé d'installer exalt.  J'ai réussi deux fois mais pas moyen de me connecter; il ne détecte pas les réseaux.  J'ai réinstallé feisty fawn et réinstallé e17 qui fonctionne très bien mais maintenant au moment de faire le make, j'ai des erreurs ; idem pour le sudo make install.  Quand je regarde les modules dans e17, je trouve bien un module exalt-module mais quand je veux l'initialiser, j'ai comme information qui me dit qu'il fonctionne sur un 486 et moi j'ai une 386.  Au moment où je savais l'installer, j'avais le problème de la limitatioin de caractères dans le mot de passe wpa qua vous avez résolu, mais de toutes manières, exalt ne détectait aucun réseau sauf quand je l'avais lancé par networkmanager.

Maintenant, je ne sais pas pourquoi, il refuse de se compler normalement

Tu parle de ta carte wifi ou de toute les cartes ? Pour la carte wifi regarde le résultat de cette commande:

iwlist ta_carte_wifi scan

Pour les erreurs lors de la compilation, il faudrait que tu me donne les messages.

j'ai un stick usb smcwgu  ou un usrrobotics qui me servent à me connecter aux réseaux wifi
si je lance ta commande et que je mets smcwgu_wifi à la place de macarte_wifi, j'ai comme réponse que cette carte ne permet pas de scanner.  Idem pour l'usrrobotics.  Je me trompe peut-être dans la minière de nommer ma carte

le nom de la carte c'est ce que tu peut trouver dans le résultat de "ifconfig".

A priori ton driver doit être spécial, si iwlist ne le gère pas, exalt ne le gère pas non plus. Il faut savoir que Exalt utilise la même fonction que celle de iwlist pour scanner ( a peu de chose prêt).

Tu es sur que le nom de ton interface ce n'est pas plutot quelque chose du genre ethx ou wlanx ? Vérifié dans le résultat de ifconfig stp.

Bonjour, avec l'image initiale de linux (feistyfawn), mon stick n'était pas reconnu et je devais employer ndiswrapper pour le configurer.  Mon interface était alors wlan0.  Depuis la mise à jour del'image linux, mon stick est reconnu et mon interface est maintenant eth2 (eth1 est relatif à un autre stick qui est reconnu depuis le départ aussi bien dans l'ancienne version que dans la nouvelle version de l'image linux).  Quoi qu'il en soit le problème reste le même, c'est un problème de compilation à partir de make.Il m'est demandé si j'ai bien instalé LIBDIR.  Je suis pas sur linux pour l'instantet ce soir je t'enverrai le résultat des commandes make puis sudo make install.  Il accepte de faire la make ainsi que le sudo make install mais il y a des erreurs de compilation.

si ./autogen.sh ne fonctionne pas, c'est pas la peined efaire make et make install.

Sinon pour faire un scan avec iwlist il faut faire:
iwlist eth1 scan
ou eth2 vu que ta 2 carte.

Si tu obtient un résultat la alors exalt devrait en trouver aussi, sinon c'est mal barré
Un autre détail, vérifié dans Exalt que ta carte est bien activé, sinon il ne scan pas et c'est normal.

Je pense avoir été complet.  Il me manque sans doute encore quelques librairies que je dois installer ?

Ah si cela t'intéresse, quand je suis sous e17, exalt apparaît dans la section modules mais quand je veux l'activer, il ne le trouve pas et me dit que c'est pour un i486 et j'ai un 386.  J'ai e17 en Français.
