Installation du scanner brother DCP-7055 sous ubuntu 12.04 32 bits

Après installation des drivers, le scanner de la Brother DCP-7055 ne marche pas.
Je suis sous Ubuntu 12.04 32 bits.
L'imprimante fonctionne parfaitement.
Mais Simple Scane ou Xsane donnent un message d'erreur.

Merci de votre aide.
Je joins ci-dessous quelques éléments pour permettre d'apprécier la situation.

Vous avez essayer de :
débrancher/rebrancher votre imprimante (sauf sur une usb3 de couleur bleue)
redémarrez votre pc imprimante allumée et connectée
sinon vous l'avez installée comment et a partir de quoi ?

Essayer de Débrancher/rebrancher l'imprimante ;Il ne faut pas être brancher sur une prise USB3 (de couleur bleue) et parfois il suffit de redémarrez le PC  imprimante connectée et allumée

J'ai vérifié que j'étais sur une prise USB noire.
J'ai débranché et rebranché l'imprimante.
J'ai redémarré le PC.
Le scanner ne fonctionne toujours pas.

Vous pourriez tout désinstaller et recommencer avec le script de demonipuch  "IMPRIMANTE ALLUMÉE ET CONNECTÉE" normalement ça fonctionne a tous les coups ???

J'ai redémarré l'ordinateur.

je ne sais plus quoi vous dire ; l'imprimante est bien reliée directement au PC et non a la Box ?
vous devriez poster directement dans le forum du script de "demonipuch" ,je pense qu'il pourrait vous aider mieux que moi

J'avais vu mais après divers tests/install/réinstall la modif de règle udev aurait pû sauter
En attendant là j'ai pas spécialement d'idée hmm
Comme dit alca94 envoi le install.log à demonipuch dès fois qu'il voit quelquechose.

Non, jusqu'à présent le problème n'est pas résolu.
Personne n'a esquissé l'ombre d'une solution.
Manifestement, il y a un gros bug.

Par contre, il est peut-être possible de s'en sortir avec la DCP-7055W.
Elle a l'avantage de pouvoir être montée en réseau.
Il ne faut pas essayer de la monter en connexion USB, sinon on retombe sur le même bug que la DCP-7055.
A mon avis, il faut essayer de la monter en connexion wifi sur le routeur.
On peut s'inspirer, en adaptant comme il convient (brscan4 et non brscan2, etc ..), de la procédure décrite ici pour la DCP-750CW.

J'espère qu'on pourra apporter une solution pour la connexion usb. La config des scanners lorsqu'on débute sur kubuntu n'est pas évidente du tout.

J'essaie ces derniers temps d'installer le scanner de la dcp7055w en wifi mais toujours le même problème malgré que je suive la procédure indiquer par oswald.luc
Message d'erreur : Erreur d'ouverture du périphérique'brother4:net1;dev0' Paramètre non valable     lorsque je lance avec avec simple scan. Et ensuite l'écran de l'application revient avec comme d'erreur Failed to scan Unable to connect to scanner
Lorsque j'essaie avec xsane, j'ai l'écran de chargement recherche de périphérique et puis plus rien.
Quelqu'un aurait une idée pour installer le scanner de la dcp 7055W en wifi?

Mais le scanner ne fonctionne pas en wifi message d'erreur avec des paramètres non valables.

Si c'est du USB3 (de couleur bleue) ça ne marche pas
voir une modif a faire sur le forum du script post 818 ICI
Pour l'adresse IP de l'imprimante ,a une époque il fallait modifier pour que cela fonctionne
par exemple adresse  192.168.002.068 il fallait supprimer les zéros et mettre 192.168.2.68

Merciiiiiiiiiiii alca94.
En, j'ai reconfiguré en wifi avec la commande suivante : sudo brsaneconfigX -a name=SCANNER_BROTHER model=NOM-DE-VOTRE-MODELE ip=IP.DE.L.IMPRIMANTE en enlevant les zéros dans l'IP comme dit ci-dessus et ça fonctionne.
Merci pour votre aide.
En usb ça ne fonctionne pas mais c'est pas très grave pour le moment. Un énorme soulagement depuis le temps que je cherche. Si quelqu'un trouve une solution en usb, je suis aussi preneur.

Une solution pour le branchement USB, apparement c'est juste une histoire de permisions... Il vient de m'arriver la même chose...

Attention au copier coller de ce site les 2 zeros sont des O ce qui retourne une erreur

$ sudo chmod o+wr /dev/bus/usb/00*/*

Je ne suis pas très satisfait de ma solution... Je pense qu'une modification de udev aurais été plus fine... Mais étrange cela continue à fonctionner même apres redemarage et changement de port USB???
(A l'origine j'avais juste changé les permissions  du port où était branché l'imprimante)

Enfin si cela peut aider

Bonjour à tous,

j'ai un PC portable sous 14.04
Un autre en 12.04 et un 3ième depuis peu à la poubelle. Sur ce dernier pas de problème avec mon scanner DCP387C.

Sous Trusty j'ai repris le .DEB préconisé par Brother voir Brother correction scanner.

Avec Xsane je me suis enfin connecté sur mon scanner (via connexion USB).

Bonsoir,
Le point commun est qu'il s'agit d'un matériel  "imprimante-scanner" Brother et je n'ai pas vu de restriction 32 64 bits quant à la mise en oeuvre de ce correctif. Mais j'ai peut-être sauté une ligne?

ah c'est juste pour signaler le package "brother-udev-rule-type1-1.0.0-1.all.deb" *
Perso (et pas mal de monde) j'utilise le script entièrement automatisé pour Brother fait par "demonipuch" = juste a rajouter les librairies 32 /64 bits depuis la 13.10

bonjour,

j'avais le meme probleme que oswald.luc, la solution, après avoir installé les drivers brother avec leur script, a été de lancer xsane (ou simple-scan) en sudo:

sudo simple-scan

on peut aussi utiliser gksudo pour créer un lanceur

passer en sudo, ce n'est pas très propre, et ça pourrait sans doute être arrangé en changeant des permissions sur un /dev ... mais en attendant ça me va très bien smile

si ça peut aider...

edit: je n'ai pas encore testé la solution proposée par dde63a, mais ça a l'air très bien!
