problème de démarage Ubuntu 13.04 après boot-repair sur MSI GE60
Bonjour,
J'ai un PC MSI GE60 équipé d'un i7 avec une carte graphique intel 4000 et une autre NVidia GTX660M (Optimus).
Sur ce PC j'ai Windows 8 pré-installé sur une partition UEFI.
J'ai installé il y a quelque mois un Ubuntu 12.10 sur une partition Legacy et tout fonctionnait bien, il suffisait de choisir au niveau du BIOS si on voulait utiliser UEFI ou Legacy et ça boutait sur Windows ou Ubuntu.
J'ai depuis fait une mise à jour vers Ubuntu 13.04 et je souhaitais passer en full UEFI. Et c'est à partir de cet instant que ça s'est compliqué...
En effet, j'ai utilisé l'utilitaire boot-repair puis j'ai redémarré et mon écran est resté violet avec écrit : "Loading initial ramdisk...", et le boot sest 'arrêté là.
J'ai essayé différentes options au niveau du grup, mais à chaque fois c'est le même résultat.
Si quelqu'un peut m'aider à résoudre ce problème ?

Une remarque sur ce rapport : ne devrait-il pas y avoir un "/EFI/ubuntu/grubx64.efi" sur mon sda5 où il y a Ubuntu 13.04 ?
Merci par avance pour toute aide qui m'aidera à avoir une machine qui tourne intégralement sur un système de partition UEFI.

Oui, il fonctionne en bootant sur une clé USB en mode Legacy. (Impossible de démarrer dessus cette clé USB en UEFI, ça bloque après quelque seconde sur un écran tout noir après avoir choisi Ubuntu).
Même si pour le moment je ne peux pas booter en full UEFI, le top serait que je revienne à mon ancienne configuration dans laquelle je pouvais booter sur mon disque dur en mode Legacy pour lancer Ubuntu...

Comme MisterMikis, j'ai mis à jour mon BIOS hier, mais aucune amélioration à signaler concernant mon problème.
Je ne suis pas allé aussi loin que lui, j'espère que YannUbuntu aura une solution plus simple pour passer en full UEFI ou pour retourner dans mon ancienne configuration (UEFI pour Windows et Legacy pour Ubuntu).

En fait, depuis que j'ai rebooté après ma première utilisation de boot-repair, mon sytème refuse de démarrer sur Ubuntu (qui est sur mon disque dur) en mode Legacy. J'ai le message suivant :

C'est pour cette raison que j'ai créé une clé USB bootable en mode persistant, c'est le seul moyen que j'ai pour lancer Ubuntu et utiliser boot-repair.
Je pense que si j'arrive à régler cette erreur, je pourrai retrouver mon ancienne configuration et booter sur mon disque dur en mode Legacy et ainsi retrouver Ubuntu ?

bizarre que Windows démarrait avant d'utiliser Boot-Repair, car dans le 1er rapport on voit que la partition EFI (sda2) avait un soucis: elle n'avait pas de drapeau boot.
Utilisez le logiciel Gparted (il est dans votre liveUSB Ubuntu) pour :
- retirer le drapeau 'boot' de la partition sda7
- ajouter un drapeau 'boot' à la partition sda2
Puis lancez la Réparation Recommandée , et indiquez-nous la nouvelle URL qui apparaitra.
Enfin, redemarrez et dites-nous ce que vous observez.

Je ne peux pas t'aider à ce sujet. Mon ordinateur boutait de cette façon depuis que j'ai intallé Ubuntu (en commencant par la version 12.04) au côté de Windows 8. Dans la partie boot du BIOS, lorsque je choisissais "UEFI", ma machine bootait sur Windows 8 et quand je choisissais "Legacy", elle bootait sur Ubuntu. Il n'y a jamais eu de problème ou de défaillance dans ce 'mécanisme'.
Utilisez le logiciel Gparted (il est dans votre liveUSB Ubuntu) pour :

J'ai rebooté et il y a pas mal de choses qui se passe...
Comme d'habitude au lancement de ma machine en UEFI, j'arrive sur la page violette du GRUB (version 2.00-13ubuntu3) avec comme choix :
Ubuntu
Advanced options for Ubuntu
Windows UEFI bkpbootmgfw.efi
Windows Boot UEFI loader
EFI/MSI/Boot/bootmgfw.efi
Si je choisi la première option 'Ubuntu', le texte ci-dessus disparait et l'écran reste complètement violet. Le disque dur tourne pendant un moment et s'arrête.
Si je choisi la 4e option 'Windows Boot UEFI loader', Windows boot normalement.
Maintenant, si je choisi la 2e option 'Advanced options for Ubuntu' -> 'Ubuntu, with Linux 3.8.0-19-generic (recovery mode)' -> 'resume', Ubuntu boot mais ne lance pas le serveur X, je dois me loguer avec mon login et mon password en mode terminal.
Je pense que je peux en conclure que Windows et Ubuntu se lancent maintenant bien en UEFI ! Cool !
Et lorsque j'essaie :
$ startx
j'ai les erreurs suivantes dans le log :
screens found but none have a usable configuration
no screen found
et avec
$ sudo service lightdm start
j'ai :
start: Job failed to start
C'est assez étrange de se retrouver avec un serveur X qui ne se lance pas alors que je n'ai pas touché aux fichiers de conf de Xorg, alors que ça fonctionnait bien avant.
Bref, c'est un tout autre problème à présent...
