Mais essaye de faire ça tape
sudo modprobe ricoh et tape sur tabulation pour auto compléter la commande et tape sur entré
Aprés tape dmesg et donne les dernières lignes ici
Enfin tu peux aussi vérifier si tu a une périphérie video ..

Bonjours,<p> je suis un petit nouveau sous ubuntu et je souhaiterais installer ma msi starcam. Quand je tape lsusb j'obtien 0c45:60c0 Microdia, j'ai chercher mais je ne sais pas comment faire tous les driver dispo sur le forum ne la gere pas.</br>

L'ajout des driver gspca n'as pas changer mon probléme, en faite ma cam est reconnue mais pas comme il faut, elle est detecte comme un modele sangha qui n'utilise pas le meme matériel. J'ai demandé à google: je suis sur plusieur piste, la plus généraliste consiste en l'utilisation d'une machine virtuelle.

j'ai posté déjà un message mais je me suis dit qu'il vallait peut être mieux en parler ici,
j'ai une caméra Aiptek Pocket DV3300, mon pc la détecte mais rien de plus, ni camorama, ni pidgin, ni ekiga ne la capte. j'ai pas trouvé s'il y avait quelque chose sur ce modèle.
j'ai essayé hier d'installer easycam2 jusqu'à ce qu'on me demande le cd d'ubuntu que je n'ai pas su trouver au moment donné. J'ai essayé plus tard encore mais pas moyen de remettre la main sur ce fameux easycam...

Moi j'ai un problème avec ma webcam Lifecam VX-6000 de microsoft. Pas moyen de la faie reconnaitre et j'ai aussi essayé de l'installer via Wine (je suis debutant) mais j'ai un message qui me dit que je dois obligatoirement être sous windows.
N'existe-t-il quant même pas un autre moyen?

Bonjour,
je veins d'installer easycam 2, et lorsque je fait suivant j'ai droit à "aucune caméra trouvée ou caméra non compatible". Il s'agit d'une webcam intégrer à un protable MSI VR600-203.
Merci de me dire si il y a un espoir pour la faire fonctionner.

euh....chez moi ce paquet a fait planter mon pc. Maintenant je sait plus ouvrir synaptic parce qu'il me dit que le fichier sn9cxxx doit etre reinstallé....
C'est ce que j'ai fais mais il me dit qu'il y a eu une erreur lors de l'installation....pffff
Et en plus de ça, quand j'ouvre le fichier moi-même, il me dit que le fichier est corrumpu, alors que je l'ai téléchargé 3 fois et que la premiere fois je n'avais pas de problème.

Pour ceux qui n'arrivent pas installer le dirver pwc malgré la stricte application de la procédure multiplement expliquée ici ou ailleurs (télécharger chez saillard, décompresser, compiler, enlever les anciens fichiers, décharger les anciens modules, charger les nouveaux, enfin je résume), j'ai enfin trouvé ce qui bloque !
je suis doublement content : non seulement ma webcam fonctionne enfin, ce qui est déjà bien en soit, mais aussi j'ai trouvé tout seul (enfin j'ai trouvé la solution que quelqu'un d'autre a développé, mais je m'en contente aisément, lol), et enfin c'est l'occasion d'apporter ma première contribution ici, et assurément elle va être utile à plusieurs personnes désespérées !

il est expliqué la même procédure que sur les autres sites et forums, à ceci près qu'il est indiqué de patcher le driver pour les versions de noyau 2.6.22 et supérieures !
donc :
1) télécharger le patch ici :

(enregistrer la cible sous)
2) patcher le driver :
patch -p1 < pwc-10.0.12-rc1-2.6.22.patch
(c'est "-p UN" et pas "-p L")
ensuite poursuivre le reste de la procédure !

JE me suis un peu renseigné sur des forum en anglais, et le probleme viendrait du faite que le driver sn9c n'est pas compatible. j' ajouterais que le fait qu'une autre webcam porte les meme code fabriquant et matériel n'aide pas.

ma webcam n'est par reconnu sous easy cam2 c'est une logitech pro4000 merci de votre aide
