[Résolu] Faire Dual Boot Windows 8 - Ubuntu 13.04
Bonjour,
Je compte installer Ubuntu 13.04 en dual boot avec Windows 8.
J'ai installé Windows 8 en mode BIOS, et compte en faire de même pour Ubuntu.
Je dispose:
D'un SDD mSATA sda inutile mais présent.
De mon SSD principal sdb où est installé la partition cachée de Windows 8 (Windows 8 Loader) sdb1, Windows 8 sdb2 et de l'espace que je compte allouer à Ubuntu sdb3.
Je compte donc faire un ext4 "/" et un swap en sdb3 et sdb4.
Je voudrais savoir où dois-je placer le GRUB.
J'ai eu quelques problèmes auparavant et je n'ai pas envie de passer par des solutions de récupération.
Je vous demande donc une solution qui me garantisse un dual boot fonctionnel et propre.

Je constate que tout est prêt pour installer Ubuntu. Je te recommande de faire l'installation en sélectionnant "Autre chose" à l'étape 3 afin de créer toi-même les partitions avec l'aide de la doc
Tu veilleras bien à ce que le chargeur d’amorçage de Grub soit bien installé dans le MBR du SSD 128 Go (si Ubuntu est installé dans sdb3 par exemple, il faut que le chargeur d'amorçage soit dans /dev/sdb)
Après installation, au redémarrage de l'ordi c'est le menu Grub que tu verras et tu auras la possibilité de démarrer sur Ubuntu (par défaut) ou bien sur Windows 8 (il y aura une entrée qui aura été créée automatiquement à l'installation)
