J'ai installé les pilotes qui vient du site d'Ati quelques temps avant de tomber sur ce poste et je voudrais savoir comment les désinstaller pour suivre ce tuto.

Bonjour les gens, je suis nouveau ici (et nouveau aussi pour Ubuntu et Linux, même si j'avais déjà un peu bidouillé Nux dans le passé).
Bon, j'avais galéré pour configurer ma connexion réseau (Wifi et WPA), mais ça, c'est fait.
Maintenant, je galère pour configurer ma Radeon 9800 PRO.
Ma config :
P4-3.2GHZ HT
1 Go RAM
Chipset Intel (enfin, je suppose, mon PC est un DELL)
Radeon 9800 PRO avec 128 MB de RAM
Et, meme avec ce matos respectable, avec glxgears je suis à.............. 190fps
J'ai suivi le tuto en tête de ce topic, fouiné partout sur le net, retourné mes fichiers de config dans tous les sens, rien n'y fait.

Tout d'abord, merci pour le HowTo...j'avoue que j'aurais galéré pas mal sinon....Je viens juste d'installer fglrx et sans ce tuto....
Bon j'ai un petit soucis : Quand je fait fglrxgears, j'ai bien les roues dentées mais il ne me renvoie aucun résultats...pas de fps, rien, que dalle, nada, niet !
Soit j'ai loupé un épisode soit il y a une option que je n'ai pas utilisée....

J'ai fait l'install sur mon Asus portable avec une Mobility Radeon 9700.
Ca marche impeccable, mais ça diminue la résolution de l'écran. fglrx ne propose pas de résolution 1200x800, seule la résolution 1024x768 est possible. Quelqu'un aurait déjà trouvé une solution?

Si j'essais d'installer les drivers de ATI avec l'installation graphique d'ATI tout est ok.
C'est après fglrxconf (tout les choix par défaut) et le reboot que je ne peut démarrer X.

J'ai suivi tous les tutoriaux possibles pour réussir à installer les drivers fglrx sur mon Thinkpad X22 équipé d'une radeon mobility 9000 M6 et j'ai toujours échoué.
Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà réussi avec ce chip graphique?

moi aucun progrès avec la config suivante :
- AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (socket 939) sur carte mère AMD MSI K8N neo 4F,
- Carte video PCI-X ATI Radeon X300 SE.
Je n'ai même pas dans "/dev" un dossier "dri"
Est-ce pour ce dernier point un pb deconfiguration du BIOS car il me semble que pour la carte video on a l'option "PCI" et "PCI Express" à choisir.
Je suis en Ubuntu Breezy 64 bits mais je ne pense pas que le problème soit là !
Qui avec une config identique a réussi ?
