Carte Wi-Fi non détectée sur portable Toshiba sous Ubuntu 13.04

Bonjour,

Je viens d'acquérir un portable Toshiba Satellite C55-A-1CW et d'y installer Ubuntu 13.04. Malgré mes recherches, je n'arrive pas à trouver la carte wi-fi...

Non, pas encore installé de paquets propriétaires puisque je n'ai pas identifié le modèle de la carte (une Realtek ?).
Et non, je n'ai pas désinstallé la dernière version d'Ubuntu pour charger la précédente... Ça pourrait résoudre le problème ? Pourtant, il me semblerait logique que la dernière version soit plus performante, non ?

Il ya de pours et contres pour chaque version et pour le kernel utilisé. A première vue est Realtek.

Je viens de jeter un œil sur les drivers Realtek mais le souci est que je ne trouve pas le modèle précis de ma carte... J'en prends un au pif et je teste ? Si je télécharge différents drivers, il ne risque pas d'y avoir des interférences ?
Rien sur la doc livrée avec l'ordi... Je vais essayer de trouver d'autres renseignements directement chez Toshiba.

Bon, ben je crois que je vais simplement acheter un second câble Ethernet et dire adieu à ma connexion sans fil... Tant pis !

Tu pourras essayer la dernière version de Debian stable ou d'ubuntu (13.04) il est possible que ton problème soit résolu.

Il y a de l'espoir :

The rtl8188ee driver is in progress along with a set of patches intended for the 3.10 stream

Et aussi tester tout de suite en live avec une distribution qui utilise ce dernier kernel.

Bonjour
c'est pour l'identifier que tu devrais essayer de démarer avec un live-CD ou live-usb  d'ubuntu 12.04 et refaire les commandes du début.
