[resolu] liveusb linux secure 64 ne se lance pas en uefi

bonjour,

je ne sais pas si je suis dans la bonne section du forum pour poster, je tente quand meme. je debute sur linux donc pardonnez moi mon vocabulaire pas tres au point.

je veux installer la 13.04 en dual boot avec windows8 sur un toshiba 850, j ai telechargé linux secure 64 et l ai installé sur une clé usb, j arrive a booter sur la clé seulement en mode "normal bios", en mode uefi l ordi tourne en rond et rien ne se lance.
ma question, comment lancer linux secure en mode uefi? linuxsecure64 est t' il compatible uefi au demarrage ou faut il le "transfomer" une fois installé?
j ai parcouru nombre de posts et de documentations sur ubuntu.fr mais je ne trouve pas la solution.
pour qu un liveusb se lance en uefi faut t il qu il est été installé sur un ordi deja équipé de l uefi? (oui je sais c est bete comme question mais bon!!)

de plus la 13.04 (en mode "normal bios") se lance directement sur le logo ubuntu et arrive sur la page de presentation (avec les icones a gauche) ne devrait t elle pas se lancer sur le grub? aucune trace du grub!

Oui, pour qu'une liveUSB se lance en UEFI, il est indispensable que l'ordi soit équipé de UEFI. Par conséquent, si tu essaies cette liveUSB sur un ordi un peu ancien, non équipé de UEFI, tu ne pourras jamais voir ceci au démarrage (qui est le symptôme que le démarrage est bien en mode UEFI) : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/lib/exe/fetch. … 270133.png
Avec cet ordi ancien, tu démarreras forcément en mode Bios (non-EFI) et tu verras ça (c'est le symptôme que le démarrage est en mode Bios) : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/_media/install … .png?w=200

Au lieu d'utiliser Linux Secure Remix qui n'installe que Ubuntu 13.04, version qui ne sera plus maintenue en janvier prochain, tu devrais essayer Ubuntu 12.04.3 qui vient de sortir et qui fonctionne bien chez tout le monde en UEFI. Avantage : 12.04.3 est maintenu jusqu'en Avril 2017 (voir ici). Pour réaliser une liveUSB 12.04.3 qui fonctionne, suis scrupuleusement cette procédure et ça va marcher : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p10730101

c est un Toshiba satellite c850 1kz

par contre, j ai du mal m exprimer: j utilise bien le live usb sur le Toshiba (acheté il y a une semaine avec uefi donc tres recent) mais j ai crée la clé sur un vieux ordi non equipé de l efi,. et donc cet clé ne se lance (sur le Toshiba) qu en mode "bios" , elle veut rien savoir en mode uefi, de plus comme elle se lance en mode "bios" je devrais avoir "la page d accuei, clavier+ bonhommel" dont tu me met le lien or rien de tout cela j arrive directement sur l interface ubuntu, (qui marche tres bien d ailleurs, mais en mode "bios"). puis je l installer comme ca, sur mode bios et faire la transformation en efi avec boot repair?

j ai choisi linux secure a cause des icones de reparation, sont ils disponibles sur la 12.04.3?

C'est possible mais je ne te guiderai pas dans cette opération : moi je suis pour l'installation directe en mode UEFI. Par contre, si tu veux absolument la faire (cette transformation BIOS > EFI), il suffit de poster dans cette discussion spécialisée sur Boot-Repair et de donner le lien vers la présente discussion pour demander qu'on t'aide à le faire (mais ça risque de prendre du temps pour avoir une réponse car YannUbuntu - le concepteur et donc le spécialiste de Boot-Repair - semble très occupé en ce moment).

Il n'y a pas de soucis : si tu dois réparer, il est prévu que Boot-Repair soit installable depuis la session live : c'est la procédure "Installer Boot-Repair dans un liveCD Ubuntu" de la doc Boot-Repair
Je renouvelle mon encouragement à abandonner Linux Secure Remix et à installer suivant mes indications du post précédent (réaliser une liveUSB 12.04.3).

j ai suivi ton tuto malbo a savoir : installé lili, telechargé la version 12.04.3, l installation de la clé s est faite sans probleme, mais quand je veux la lancer la session un écran noir apparait avec des traits blancs sur le haut de la page.
je lance bien la clé en mode uefi.

si tu as une idée je suis preneur

bonne nouvelle malbo j ai reussi a lancer la clé (en passant par un interface windows, je pense que mon port usb dans lebios/uefi n est pas bien configuré)
j arrive bien sur le grub, j ai essayé ubuntu apparement tout fonctionne, (je post depuis lelive) je pense etre pret pour une install.
a ton avis dois je partitionner mon dd manuellement ou tout faire en automatique?

Doucement parce que je commence à être échauder avec ça : ce n'est pas suffisant d'avoir réussi à démarrer en session live, il faut que ce démarrage en session live ait été fait en mode UEFI. Et pour savoir ce qu'il en est, le paragraphe suivant donne les indications : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/uefi#identifie … n_mode_efi
Dans ton cas, si la session live démarre sans passer par cet écran, ne lance pas l'installation depuis cette session live parce que ça va merder du fait que tu es en mode BIOS.
Par contre, si tu passes bien par cet écran, c'est que ta session live est bien démarrée en mode UEFI et tu peux aller : il faut faire un double-clic sur l'icône "Install Ubuntu 12.04.3" qui est sur le bureau et l'installation commence.

PS : j'espère que tu as bien pris tes précautions avant de te lancer dans l'installation

le live session demarre bien par l ecran dont tu me donnes le lien, le seul truc c est que quand je redemarre l ordi il boot bien sur la clé mais j ai un ecran noir il faut que je passe par les onglets Windows, il y a un endroit ou windows me propose de redemarrer en lancant les usb en uefi et l ordi arrive bien sur le grub dont tu me parles.
pourtant dans le bios/uefi l option uefi est bien activée.
penses tu que je puisse lancer l install?

S'il arrive bien sur le Grub, c'est OK : tu valides la première ligne (Try..."), tu arrives sur le bureau de Ubuntu en session live et tu fais un double-clic sur l'icône de l'installateur pour lancer l'installation.

il me dit aucun systeme d exploitation trouvé sur cette ordi!!! alors qu il y a windows 8
pourtant quand je passe a l etape suivante : partitions, il trouve bien toutes les partitions
as tu une explication? puis je continuer l install?

Oui, il s'agit d'un bug de Ubuntu qui n'est toujours pas résolu (c'est bien long...) ; du coup, tu dois avoir une installation qui se passe un peu comme dans ce tuto que j'ai fait : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1293061
Dans le tuto, je dis en préambule que ça devrait bien se passer pour Ubuntu 12.04.3 mais en fait, c'est toujours la même chose (le bug est toujours là) et à l'étape 3, Windows 8 n'est pas détecté. Donc oui, il faut prendre "Autre chose", tu n'as pas le choix. Tu peux t'inspirer de ce tuto pour ton install : il a été écrit pour 12.04.2 mais à ma connaissance il est utilisable pour 12.04.3.

l install s est bien deroulée, je bloque juste dans boot repair pour lancer le grub au demarrage, j ai suivi le lien que tu m as donné dans le post 11, c est au niveau de la fenetre "option avancées" de boot repair, il y a une ligne de plus que sur ta capture ecran, elle s intitule "utiliser le fichier efi standard" et elle est cochée par default, elle est entre "reinstaller grub" et "sauvegarder et renommer les fichiers efi"
dois je la décocher?

D'après ce Boot-Info, tu bootes sur le Grub de Ubuntu au démarrage donc en principe, Ubuntu doit fonctionner. Tu peux confirmer ?
As-tu tenté de passer par UEFI au démarrage pour démarrer Windows ? et est-ce que Windows fonctionne normalement ?

oui ubuntu fonctionne tres bien, je n est pas essayé de lancer windows, je post depuis la session ubuntu juste apres le redemarrage de l install. l ordi redemarre sur ubuntu

Je te prie de faire la manip suivante : au démarrage, tu maintiens enfoncée la touche SHIFT (la touche des majuscules) jusqu'à ce que tu vois le menu Grub. Là, tu ne valides rien, tu te contentes d'appuyer sur la touche C ce qui a pour conséquence de faire apparaitre l'invite de commande grub. Tu as juste à taper "exit" et à valider par la touche Entrée et tu démarres direct sur Windows. Peux-tu essayer cette manip et dire si tu arrives bien à démarrer Windows 8 par ce moyen ?

Explication sur cette manip : ton UEFI a une priorité de démarrage qui apparait comme ça dans le Boot-Info :

Si tu essaies d'interpréter la ligne :

BootOrder: 0004,0003,0005,2001,2003,2002

Tu verras que la priorité de démarrage est sur Boot0004, c'est à dire Ubuntu version signée, c'est à dire compatible "Secure Boot". Si le démarrage échoue, l'UEFI passe à la deuxième possibilité qui est Boot2003, c'est à dire Windows. La petite manip consiste à faire échouer le démarrage sur 0004 pour que l'UEFI passe directement à 0003.
A noter que si ça échoue sur Windows, ça passe sur Boot0005, c'est à dire Ubuntu mais en version non signée (non-compatible "Secure Boot"). Cette dernière possibilité, on s'en fout là.

j ai fait ce que tu m as dis (maintenir shift enfoncé), mais aucun menu grub n apparait, juste un message furtif "error disk ...."en haut a gauche, je n arrive pas a tout lire ca vas trop vite, et l ordi demarre sur ubuntu

Bon et bien laisse tomber la manip.
J'ai bien noté que "utiliser le fichier efi standard" est cochée par défaut mais si la réparation avancée de Boot-Repair montre que la case "sauvegarder et renommer les fichiers efi" est bien décochée, lance la réparation. Explications : ton UEFI n'est pas vicieux et l'opération sournoise qui est impliquée par "sauvegarder et renommer les fichiers efi" n'a pas lieu d'être. Je veux dire que les fichiers originaux de Windows doivent être conservés en l'état.
Après réparation, quelque soit le résultat bon ou mauvais, je te prie de poster le Boot-Info que tu obtiendras en fin de réparation.

voila ce que boot repair me dit de taper dans un terminal :
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get install -fy
sudo apt-get purge -y --force-yes grub*-common shim-signed

je l ai tapé mais rien ne se passe, quand je fais suivant sur la fenetre boot repair j ai message erreur "le grub est toujours la"

Tu oublies de poster le Boot-Info que je t'ai demandé dans le post #18. Si tu n'as pas pu le noter ou si tu l'as perdu, je te prie de le refaire depuis ta session du Ubuntu installé sur disque dur (au lieu de faire ce qui est mentionné à l'étape 1).
Peux-tu confirmer que tu as laissé le paramètre Secure Boot de ton UEFI sur Enabled ?

Sinon pour passer en résolu, il faut modifier le titre de ton premier post pour qu'il devienne :

[Résolu] liveusb linux secure 64 ne se lance pas en uefi

comme c'est expliqué dans Passer son sujet en [Résolu]

Tout me semble correct et la "Réparation" réalisée par Boot-Repair est bien conforme à ce que je pensais.
Tu peux noter ceci dans ton Boot-Info (c'est un peu après "ADDITIONAL INFORMATION") :

BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.8.0-29-generic.efi.signed

Cela veut dire que ta session Ubuntu (depuis laquelle tu as fait ce Boot-Info) était bien démarrée sur une version signée du noyau, c'est à dire compatible "Secure Boot". En théorie tu devrais pouvoir repasser le réglage de ton UEFI pour mettre "Secure Boot" sur Enabled et vérifier que tu peux :
1) démarrer sur Ubuntu
2) démarrer sur Windows en passant par l'entrée "Windows UEFI bootmgfw.efi" du menu Grub
Peux-tu essayer cela ? Le résultat risque d'être curieux si ça se passe comme j'ai déjà vu ailleurs : ça risque de marcher sur Ubuntu alors que ça va merder sur Windows (comme pour MrTartempion83 dans ce post)
