Bonjour,

Voilà un petit résumé:
Avant même l'installation d'Ubuntu, le fait d'avoir booté sur bootrepair a entrainé que mon portable ne bootais plus sur windows.
[RESOLU] Le probléme était que des Drapeaux/Flags de Boot avait été activé sur les autres partitions sda1 et sda4 (au lieu de seulement la partition sda2. Avec Gparted, j'ai pu sélectionné les partitions, puis "gérer les drapeaux" et désactiver les drapeaux "boot" de sda1 et sda4.

Bonsoir à tous,
J'essaye d'installer Ubuntu sur mon portable ACER sous windows 8. En suivant les consignes j'ai essayé de faire une sauvegarde du MBR avec Boot-repair.
J'ai booté sur la clé USB avec boot-repair, fait une sauvegarde qui s'avère au final avoir créer un fichier Zip vide.
Commence alors le probléme, plus moyen alors de booter sur windows, j'ai désactivé "secure boot" dans le bios, j'ai essayé de restaurer le MBR, vérifier que les partitions sont toujours là (etc.), suivis les conseils recoltés sur le forum (etc.) ... Mais rien n'y fait....
Et là je suis à cours d'idées (et de nerfs aussi). Est-ce que quelqu'un en aurait une pour rétablir windows? Merci d'avance!

D'accord, ça va prendre un peu de temps (1H), car entre temps j'ai écrasé les fichiers boot-repair sur ma clé pour faire une clé Ubuntu. Il faut que je retelecharge boot-repair. Ce qui est curieux c'est que les deux fois ou j'ai essayé de faire une clé ubuntu, j'ai jamais réussi à booté dessus non plus, alors que j'y arrive avec boot repair, que j'ai apriori le bios bien configuré pour booter sur les clés.

Je dois avouer ne pas tout comprendre... Tout à l'air OK sauf sda3 "unknown file system" . C'est peut être lier au fait que j'ai réduit la partition windows de moitié pour laisser de la place pour Ubuntu. Réponse ou suggestions ? Merci (Help!)

On y voit que la partition sda1 (ta partition "Recovery") et la partition sda4 (ta partition système de Windows) sont vues comme étant des partitions EFI alors qu'elles ne doivent pas être vues comme telles.
Je te suggère d'utiliser Gparted pour enlever le drapeau* qui se trouve actuellement sur sda1 et sda4 afin que seule la partition sda2 ait le drapeau puisque c'est bien sda2 qui est la véritable partition EFI. Tu peux lancer Gparted depuis une session live de Ubuntu (ordi démarré sur un liveCD de Ubuntu) ou tu peux utiliser directement le liveCD ou liveUSB Gparted

Quand même, j'ai du mal à croire que les drapeaux avaient été mis sur sda1 et sda4 par l’installeur de Ubuntu. C'est bien toi qui avais fait cela, non ?

Rebonjour,
Je ne savais même pas ce qu'est un drapeau avant d'avoir ton message et n'avais ouvert Gparted avant que tu le suggères que pour vérifier que mes partitions existaient toujours.
Vraiment je ne vois pas quelle manipulation j'aurai pu faire, autre que de booter sur "boot repair" et de le faire tourner en essayant de sauvegarder mon mbr (c'est peut être là que j'ai fait une bourde, mais je vois pas laquelle), qui aurait pu mettre ces drapeaux boot activés.

OK, je note que tu ne penses pas avoir créé toi-même ces anomalies. Comme tu as utilisé Boot-Repair et peut-être d'autres outils pour tenter de réparer ton ordi, je ne sais pas trop si l'installateur de Ubuntu est réellement responsable de cela ou bien si c'est l’œuvre de ces outils. Ce que je veux dire c'est que partant d'une installation qui ne marchait pas, tu as pu t'enfoncer plus encore dans le marécage avec ces outils.   
Peux-tu préciser quel est le modèle (le nom complet, pas seulement le nom d'une famille de modèle. Par exemple "Aspire V3-771g" et pas seulement "Aspire V3") de ton portable Acer ?

As-tu toujours l'intention d'installer Ubuntu dans cet ordi ? Si oui, je te suggère de ta procurer une clé USB de 16 Go (au moins) et de faire de cette clé USB un support de réinstallation en configuration usine de ton Windows 8 en mettant en pratique cette doc Acer : https://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/26287
Autre alternative qui permet de stocker une image disque (sur un disque dur externe de préférence) en vue de réinstaller Windows 8 : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=433035
L'une ou l'autre (ou les deux si tu aimes bien bétonner) de ces précautions sont utiles pour éviter les ennuis.

Oui, merci beaucoup,  je m'y remet à l'instant, et je suis en train de faire la clé USB de sauvegarde, bien que j'en vois pas trop l'utilité car j'ai l'impression qu'il y en a déja une sur mon disque dur (sda4); le disque est d'usine partitionné en 4:
_ sda1 400Mo recovery
_ sda2 300Mo partition systeme EFI
_ sda3  340Go mon c:
_ sda4  19,5Go partition de récupération

L'intérêt du support de réinstallation en config usine est de pouvoir réinstaller si tu écrases malencontreusement ladite partition sda4....
