UEFI impossible d installer ubuntu sur ordi portable Packard Bell

Bonjour,

j ai voulu rejoindre la communauté Ubuntu en installant le logiciel sur l ordi portable.
je souhaite au debut cohabiter avec le windows 8 qui est sur l ordinateur.

Depuis son installation je ne peux pas lancer Ubuntu, windows ne veut plus demarrer aussi.
j ai essayé en modifiant le boot mode en le passant en legacy, mais rien y fait.
j ai essayé  de reparer le boot avecboor repair disk mais je ne comprend rien (desole je suis un noob)

boot repair me donne une info efi détecté,  veuillez verifier les options
Quedois je changer et ou?

apres je clique sur reparation recommandée

un message m' informe que le demarrage de l ordi est en mode Legacy, vous voudrez peut etre re essayer apres l avoir changé en mode efi.
le probleme c est que des que je passe en mode efi je ne peux plus booter sur le cd ou sur ubuntu, windows me met un message d erreur.

je clique sur continuer(en restant en mode legacy)
le reparateur de demarrage fait sa soupe puis me demande d ouvrir le terminal et de taper des lignes de commande.
N'arrivant pas a faire un copier coller, jenae la premiere ligne dans le terminal mais j ai un message d erreur.

Peux tu donner tes caractéristiques matérielles et la version de buntu que tu cherches à tester ?
As tu essayé avec nomodeset ?

Oups c est vrai que c est mieux avec des informations.
Je voudrais mettre ubuntu 14.04 sur un ordinateur packard bell easy note intel b830 4gb ddr3 qvec windows 8 installé sur l ordi.
C est quoi un nomodeset? Et comment le fait on?

Bonjour.
D'après le boot info.
Installation de W$8 en UEFI.
Partitionnement en GPT.
Installation de Ubuntu en mode Bios (pas de /gru/efi  vu dans les fichiers de boot. de /dev/sda5)
Pas de trace de Ubuntu en UEFI dans la partition /boot/efi /dev/sda2
Installation d'une 14.04 sur de l'ext2 ?.
Machine démarrée en mode Bios.

Ne touches plus à rien , attends de l'aide de la part des spécialistes en installation UEFI...

Stp, modifie ton titre,en mettant "UEFI" en tête de titre. pour ce faire, tu modifies le titre de ton premier post. La demande d'aide sera plus visible

J'ai découvert Ubuntu avec la 07.10.... Et alors?!...  Depuis je regarde de temps en temps si Windows marche toujours....

Essaie cette iso : http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/relea … -amd64.iso
Teste en live. avec ton bios réglé uefi mais secureboot désactivé.
Si ca fonctionne, installe.
si ca ne fonctionne pas, relance au moment du choix (try xubuntu) tape "e" et derrière quiet splash ajoute nomodeset (séparé par un espace).
Dis nous si la live session fonctionne alors

Bonjour,

A priori il faut juste réinstaller une version 64 bits d'Ubuntu en choisissant le mode UEFI, et non le mode BIOS (cf : "UEFI: Hitachi..." et "P1: Hitachi..." (mode non UEFI) de l'image "Boot Device" ci-dessous) au moment de choisir le lancement sur CD/DVD (si Ubuntu est gravé sur un support optique) au démarrage de la machine. Relax, y'a rien de cassé, mais il faudrait effacer les partitions sda5 et sda7 au moment de la réinstallation. A la fin de la réinstallation, si elle s'est bien déroulée, tu auras à nouveau la possibilité de choisir le système d'exploitation que tu souhaites lancer.

On voit que tu as utilisé Boot-Repair disk* mais je te prie de ne plus utiliser cet outil merdique : si tu dois réparer ton installation, il faudra utiliser un liveDVD (il faut un DVD pas un CD) ou une liveUSB de Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits (pour faire cette liveUSB, ma procédure est là)
Comme Windows est installé en mode EFI, il convient que ton installation de Ubuntu soit également faite en mode EFI. Donc, c'était une connerie de passer en mode Legacy : il faut que tu rétablisses le mode UEFI dans ton "Bios". Quand ce sera fait, je te prie de démarrer en mode EFI sur ton liveDVD ou ta liveUSB Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits (pour identifier si tu démarres en mode EFI ou en mode non-EFI, il y a ce paragraphe 2.5 Identifier si l'ordinateur démarre sur le CD (ou la live USB) en mode EFI. Toi, tu dois avoir cet écran) et tu dois valider le démarrage sur la première ligne du menu "Try Ubuntu without installing". Dis-nous si tu arrives bien sur le bureau de Ubuntu en session live et si les fondamentaux sont corrects (affichage, accès internet)

j avais effectué une mauvaise installation, elle était faite sur le mauvais mode boot.
j ai reussi grâce a vous a me mettre en UEFI et surtout enlever la sécurité (il fallait changer le MDP, afin de degrise le champ).

Je souhaiterais ajouter ton modèle dans la Liste des portables « Packard Bell ». Pourrais-tu faire la petite manip qui est expliquée dans ce post : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p11268521
Motif : j'ai vu dans le post #3 plus haut que tu as donné quelques caractéristiques de ton "EasyNote"  mais il y a plusieurs modèles qui correspondent à ces caractéristiques. J'espère que le résultat de la petite manip que je propose permettra d'avoir un nom précis pour le modèle. En fait, c'est seulement la ligne "produit" qui m'intéresse (comme dans ce post) donc si tu ne peux pas poster le résultat complet, poste seulement cette ligne.
