pb de résolution écran bloquée.

Bonsoir à tous

J'ai installé ubuntu 5.10 et les drivers ATI comme préconisé. tout marche nickel sauf que ...

Je ne peux augmenter ma résolution au delà de 1024x768 or j'aimerais bien aller à 1200x1024 sur mon CRT 19".
J'ai bien changé mon fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf mais ce n'est pas la solution.

Je pensais qu'il me suffirait d'ajouter la résolution voulue, mais ce n'est apparament pas suffisant.

Si quelqu'un pouvait m'expliquer le pourquoi du comment, je pourrais avancer un peu.

à mon avis, tu devrais essayer 1280x1024 au lieu de 1200x1024 que je n'ai jamais vu nul part

Comme quoi, une bonne relecture par un tier ne fais pas de mal.
