[Abandon] reinstallation lubuntu 14.04 suite à absent iceauthority

Bonjour à tous,

Moko138 s'est rendu compte d'un gros pb sur ma version de lubuntu fraîchement installée : il manque le fichier ICEauthority dans tous les Home.

il m'a conseillé de reinstallé en partant de la 14.04.
j'ai encore l'iso, dont le MD5 est ok.

l'installation devrait aller mais il me conseille ceci :

Ne pas faire les maj pendant l'installation (pas de connexion au net).
Si Synaptic n'est pas installé :

sudo apt-get install synaptic

Pour rester sur ce noyau, il faut bloquer la version pour ces paquets dans Synaptic :

linux-image-3.13.0-24-generic
linux-image-extra-3.13.0-24-generic
linux-headers-3.13.0-24
linux-headers-3.13.0-24-generic

En temps voulu, il suffira de débloquer les paquets.

Merci.

résultat :

avec l'iso dont le MD5 est ok, après installation complète (suppression et installation, j'en ai profité pour retailler les partitions):

toujours de fichier .ICEauthority dans mon home !

version :
3.13.0-24-generic #46 

je vais retélécharger l'iso depuis :
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/relea … p-i386.iso

j'ai utilisé celui préconisé sur la page http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/live_usb)
je vais essayé avec la dernière version.

Je suppose que tu voulais dire "toujours pas de fichier...".
Je te prie de suivre la procédure suivante :
1) Lance en session live gparted et poste le lien vers une capture de sa fenêtre.
2) Si pas déjà fait, sauvegarde tes fichier personnels sur support externe.
3) On va faire l'installation ensemble, en commençant par le début, donne le nom complet du modèle de ton pc.

Pour voir si la façon de faire la live-usb a un impact sur l'absence de ce fameux fichier, veux-tu nous dire comment tu la fabriques; avec quel logiciel ?
C'est toujours une clé persistante ?

alors j'ai utilisé le logiciel préconisé LinuxLive USB Creator (LiLi USB Creator)
(sous win 7)

la 1° fois : j'avais utilisé le mode persistent.

J'ai essayé avec la version courante de lili, une clé USB de 16 go en fat32 en étape 1

Puis je lui donne l'iso lubuntu-14.04-desktop-i386.iso en étape 2

étape 3 : 0 pas de persistence.

étape 3 : je ne coche rien  (clé vide).

et je lance le traitement qui se termine correctement.

dans mes 2 créations de clé usb Live j'ai lancé l'outil "vérification des fichiers"

il m'indique les 2 fois "/autorun.inf" fichier ou dossier non trouvé
et en fin d'analyse il m'indique "1 fichier en erreur".

sinon la session live démarre bien, sans problème particulier.

la clé contient :

Arf !!!
Il y a une heure, j'ai supprimé ma machine virtuelle en XP. Je ne peux pas tester wink
Mais ce message d'erreur a certainement un sens.

EDIT : Je viens de lancer l'iso Lubuntu de ton lien dans une machine virtuelle, le répertoire /home contient bien un fichier .Xauthority mais pas .iceauthority.
La façon de faire la clé n'est donc pas la cause de cette situation.

Par contre j'ai une Ubuntu-gnome 14.04.1 et une xubuntu qui contiennent bien les deux fichiers.

en ouvrant l'iso avec 7zip, je vois bien le fichier autorun.inf, à la racine.

mais il n'apparait pas sur ma clé live.

D'accord, voir mon edit du post précédent.

Tu tiens vraiment à Lubuntu ? tu as quand même 2Go de RAM je crois. C'est plus que suffisant pour Xubuntu.

l'iso serait en cause ?

alors quoi faire ? Moko indique que la version suivante est buggué !

pas vu la question sur la version : effectivement, je pourrais passé à Xubuntu, j'ai justement un iso sous la main....
mais j'ai peur que les perfomances s'en ressente.

je vais tester avec une version live persistante pour comparer le rendu.

Tu tiens vraiment à Lubuntu ? tu as quand même 2Go de RAM je crois. C'est plus que suffisant pour Xubuntu.

Moko138 va bien revenir, il expliquera le bug de ce noyau.

Si tu n'aimes pas son bureau, sache qu'il suffit de quelques clics pour tout mettre à ta main. C'est facilement paramétrable sur de très nombreux points.
Par exemple, tu peux déverrouiller le tableau de bord du haut pour le glisser en bas comme sut XP ou Lxde.

par contre je trouve la partie "Menu" assez fouillis.

en cours de démarrage sur le PC de destination.
houlà !

le démarrage de la version live est bien plus longue qu'avec lubuntu !!
(avec la même clé usb et le même PC).

cette fois, la version live a bien le ICEauthority....

je vais lancer l'installation sur le disque, je verrais bien la réactivité...

Perso, je "nettoie" les 2 premiers Mo de ma clef entre deux créations de live :

sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdx bs=512 count=4000

en remplaçant "x" par la lettre que sudo fdisk -l attribue à ma clef juste avant de faire dd.
Attention : commande dangereuse : on N'a PAS droit à l'erreur. Se tromper de lettre peut être catastrophique ! (risque d'effacer son HD.)

Je te suggère, tarkan99, avec ta Lubuntu, de faire cela. Puis d'utiliser l'équivalent de lili sous lubuntu.
Tu le trouveras probablement dans Menu/ Système/ "Créateur de disque de démarrage" ou un nom approchant.

Quelle xubuntu as-tu téléchargée ? et quelle somme md5 ?

sudo apt-get autoremove

avec 14.04 tant que tu n'es pas sûr et certain de ton nouveau noyau !

alors oui, l'install de xubuntu est finie ok.
Par contre j'espère que les 2go seront suffisant quand les 4 sessions utilisateurs seront ouvertes en même temps (cela était ok avec W XP...).

Je suis un peu dérouté par le menu de xubuntu, que je vais vite devoir changer.

Par contre, toujours le même problème de clé USB (sans aucune bidouille cette fois). :-(

Je vais devoir créer un nouveau fil:

lorsque 2 sessions utilisateurs sont ouvertes, lors de l'insertion d'une clé USB, le montage automatique ne monte pas forcément la clé pour la session active.
Du coup, la clé n'est pas accessible pour la session active.

ceci est aléatoire, un coup la clé monte pour la session active, auquel cas la clé fonctionne bien (lecture et écriture ok), un coup c'est la session.
(j'espère avoir été assez clair).

Avant de continuer à personnaliser les sessions, je souhaite trouver une solution à mon problème.

Et concernant l'absence de ICExxx, c'est un pb de l'ISO ?

  Il n'y a pas longtemps que j'ai compris ce que tu voulais faire initialement.
Drôle d'idée...
Mais faisable. (plus simple avec 12.04 qu'avec 14.04 mais je vois déjà deux solutions).
