[resolue]Comment creer partition /home et /swap

Bonjour;
J'ai chercher un peu sur ce sujet , mais j'ai pas trouver le meme cas que moi (ou a peu pres pareil).

je veux installer Linux(Ubuntu) sur mon Pc (Acer aspire E1-531) qui marche actuellement avec windows 8.1 ;
J'ai télécharger et graver le CD pour l'installation;
Pour pouvoir faire une partition /home afin de pouvoir accéder a tout mes fichiers personnels , comment je dois faire??? et la partie swap je la met ou???
et conserver windows bien entendu .

Alors comment crée les partition ? faut-il dabor que j'en fasse une pour mes fichiers avant de commencer l'instal?

Quelle partition choisir pour faire de la place a ubuntu?

Pour pouvoir faire une partition /home afin de pouvoir accéder a tout mes fichiers personnels , comment je dois faire???

Créer une telle partition /home est facultatif*. Que tu crées une partition /home ou que tu n'en crées pas, il y aura toujours un dossier /home dans lequel seront tes fichiers personnels. La différence c'est que si tu crées une partition /home, tes fichiers personnels seront dans cette partition alors que si tu ne crées pas de partition /home, tes fichiers personnels se trouveront dans ta partition racine, la partition dans lequel ton système Ubuntu sera installé.

Étudie un peu ce que je t'indique et confirme-moi (ou non) que tu souhaites avoir une partition /home.

* la partition /home fait partie des Partitions optionnelles (elle est appelée "Partition de données personnelles" dans la doc)

Bonjour et bienvenue sur le forum.
- Ton ordinateur est bien compatible avec Ubuntu, en tous cas il est répertorié comme tel par la documentation.
- Il faut savoir que depuis l'introduction d'un nouveau système de démarrage des ordinateurs (le boot - UEFI) l'installation d'un système Linux en double boot est devenue plus délicate, il est plus que recommandé de sauvegarder ses données sous Windows avant toute tentative d'installation d'Ubuntu.
- Il n'est pas du tout indispensable de préparer à l'avance des partitions pour Ubuntu, que ce soit le système ou le /home. L'assistant d'installation fait ça tout seul.
- Il est indispensable de lire attentivement cette page de la documentation et notamment ce paragraphe ainsi que les pages qui y sont liées.

A force de lire les differentes doc sur l'installation en dual boot , je vais finir par prendre peur .... lol

non autrement dit j'ai pas envie de faire une boulette en allant trop vite !
beaucoup de parametre entre en jeux , et c'est plus complex que je croyais

Tu as raison c'est devenu plus complexe depuis l'adoption du boot uefi. Mais c'est tout à fait faisable !

je vais finir par prendre peur ....

Il n'y a que les cons qui n'ont pas peur. En fait eux, c'est "après" qu'ils ont peur : "mon ordi ne démarre plus sous Windows ! urgence qui peut m'aider !!!!!!"
Pour t'assister, en plus des doc recommandés par Ayral, je te conseille de t'appuyer sur ce pas à pas "efi un jeu d'enfant" du site "Libre à Quimperlé" :  http://libre.a.quimperle.perso.sfr.fr/2014/efi/efi.html

Vos documents et tutos mon étaient  d'une grande aide
J'ai finalement reussi mon installation de ubuntu ,

J'ai tout de meme un ptit probleme, a la fin de l'instal l'ordi redemarre direct sur windows sans proposer le choix de  L'OS....
je sais que g vu passer cette question sur les forum et dans les tutos mais si vous pouviez me donner la solution svp ce serait sympas.

c'est en rapport avec le bios je crois? options aux demarage du Pc?

Ce serait bien que tu vérifies également que tu peux démarrer sur Ubuntu en démarrant l'ordi avec la touche F12 enfoncée : cela doit permettre d'accéder à un Boot Menu dans lequel tu dois trouver une entrée "ubuntu" et tu peux démarrer dessus directement. Peux-tu le vérifier et dire si ça fonctionne ?

Ce serait bien que tu vérifies également que tu peux démarrer sur Ubuntu en démarrant l'ordi avec la touche F12 enfoncée : test réalisé avec succès , il me donne Windows en 1, ubuntu en 2, et un autre truc hdd en 3.
petite précision, j'ai juste appuyer F12 "sans maintenir enfoncé ", toute suite au démarrage et ça réagit direct .
En sachant ça , pas besoin de Grub ni de passer par le bios avec F2 pour modifier l'ordre du boot.

Bonjour,
Je viens de mentionner ton cas dans la Liste des portables « Acer » concernant le modèle Aspire E1-531.
Pour que ça serve d'exemple d'installation à ceux qui ont le même modèle, pourrais-tu faire un Boot-Info depuis une session de ton Ubuntu fraîchement installé et indiquer l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse ?

Bon avant de tout, puisque tu va citer mon cas, je tiens a préciser un problème que j'ai rencontrer lors des premières manip pour l'installation de Ubuntu et qui je pense peu arriver a d'autres;
C'est a dire pour créer un espace libre non alloué :

lorsque j'ai voulu réduire la partition de c: sur mon disque dur qui est presque vide; L'espace maximum que je pouvais réduire été de seulement 680Mo alors que le volume en fait plus de 400Go !!

Sachant qu'il faut au minimum 18Go d'espace libre pour l'installation de Ubuntu;
J'ai trouver la solution sur un autre forum:

supprimer provisoirement le fichier d’échange

vous suivez ce tuto http://www.pcastuces.com/pratique/windo … /page4.htm
vous définissez aucun fichier échange
vous redémarrez
vous supprimez pagefile.sys , dans votre disque c
vous essayez de redimensionner votre partition

quand c'est ok , vous retournez sur le tuto , et remettez un fichier d’échange sur le C:
vous redémarrez

Voilas c'est tout , je pense que ça peu aider quelqu'un d'autre.

Je vais maintenant passer sur Ubuntu et faire la manip que tu ma demander .

Les fichiers de démarrage de [L'OS actuellement utilisé - Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS] sont loin du début du disque. Votre BIOS pourrait ne pas les détecter. Vous voudrez peut-être re-essayer après avoir créé une partition /boot (EXT4, >200MB, en début de disque). Cela peut être réalisé via des outils tels que gParted. Puis sélectionnez cette partition via l'option [Partition /boot séparée :] de [Réparateur de démarrage]. (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/partition_boot)

Si votre ordinateur redémarre directement sur Windows, essayez de changer l'ordre de démarrage dans votre BIOS.
Si votre BIOS ne permet pas de changer l'ordre de démarrage, changez l'entrée de démarrage par défaut de l'amorceur Windows.
Par exemple, vous pouvez démarrer Windows, puis saisir la commande suivante dans une invite de commande en mode administrateur :
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\...\grub*.efi

Tout semble normal. Tu n'aurais pas dû faire une partition /home : au lieu de 30 Go pour / et 30 Go pour /home que tu as actuellement, tu aurais mieux fait d'adopter 60 Go pour / (et pas de partition /home). Motif : ta partition /home sera pleine à ras-bord dans l'avenir tandis que ta partition / restera à moitié occupée.

Moi je ne sais pas t'aider à faire cela. Je t'ai posé le problème en temps utile (post #2) justement pour t'amener à réfléchir sur ton besoin : tu m'as répondu que tu ne voulais pas de partition /home (post #7) et au final je constate que tu en as créé une. A présent que c'est fait, moi je te suggère de rester comme ça.
