Yop. Pour voir la dernière version stable de Firefox si vous êtes impatient (ce qui est mon cas),  il suffit de la télécharger ici : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Et une fois le répertoire Firefox créé :

export PATH=$PATH:$HOME/<le-répertoire-de-firefox>

Sinon, une procédure utilisant root

cd /usr/bin
# créer un raccourci dans /usr/bin/ pour lancer firefox de façon normale sans faire ./
sudo ln -s /home/<votre login>/<le-répertoire-de-firefox>/firefox firefox

afin de l'avoir comme un lanceur classique au lieu de de faire ./firefox
Les mises à jour se font quand vous cliquez sur le bouton Menu >> ? >> A propos de firefox

La communauté Arch est plus rapide concernant Firefox, c'est vrai. J'ai constaté au moins 24 heures d'avance.

Bon mon mac vient de mourir, du coup je vais surement m'acheter un nouvel ordinateur, je pense notamment au dell inpiron 13 serie 7000 convertible, qui me semble parfait pour tester wily et unity 8 ! A bientôt pour de nouvelles aventures !
ps: pour ceux aillant cet ordinateur: tout fonctionne ?

C'est une histoire de verre à moitié vide ou à moitié plein wink Il faut tout de même grader à l'esprit que l'i7 U que tu as dans ce portable ne vaut rien comparé à un i5 M et est du même ordre de grandeur de performance qu'un i3 de bureau. Malgré tout, à ce prix là, il n'y a pas tant d'ultra portables que ça. Reste à voir si l'écran tactile sera bien supporté.

En cas de problème, appliquez une pincée de poudre verte.

La version stable de dernier noyau actuellement n'est pas le 4.0.1 mais le 4.0.4 pour info.

En parlant du kernel 3.19, logiquement la prochaine "sous-version" de LTS (et variante), a savoir Ubuntu 14.04.3 devrai avoir le noyau 3.19
(prévu pour Août 2015)

Et la 14.04.4 qui sortira début 2016 peu avant la prochaine LTS (16.04) devrai logiquement avoir le noyau de la 15.10 (4.1 certainement).

J'ai une petite promo... je devrais l'avoir pour entre 700 et 800...
Enfin, c'est un peu hors-sujet, mais merci des conseils

Je table pour un 4.1 ou 4.2 pour willy, et ça tombe bien il parait que le 4.1 réduit drastiquement (~30%) la consommation d'électricité avec les puces intel.

du coup oui, c'est forcément valable. si il passe bien avec linux, sinon l'intérêt est très limité... (dell, bof bof en soit...)
edit: problème avec AC 7265 pour le wifi/bt visiblement

Pourquoi dell serait «bof, bof» ? J'étais très content de mon précédent XPS.
bien plus que le MacBook air que j'ai actuellement. Pourquoi l’intérêt serait-il limité? (ma principale motivation c'est de voir win10/unity8 en action), si ça marche, nul-doutes que les prochains ordinateurs seront convertibles.
Où as-tu trouvé les infos sur la puce wifi? (fait chier!)

Je n'ai pas encore testé la version 15.10. Le planning est classique, donc peut-être que c'est pour cela que nous ne communiquons pas trop. Le Feature Freeze est prévu pour le 20 Août. As-t-on une idée plus précise des futures fonctionnalités qui seront présentes, et confirmées ?
