Erreur Grub [RÉSOLU]
Bonjour
j'étais sur windows 8 j'ai lancé le processus de maj vers le 10 tout c'est bien déroulé au premier et deuxième redémarrage de l'installation, c'est au troisième que je me retrouve avec l'erreur
error : no such partition
entering rescue mode...
grub rescue
j'ai tenté la réparation avec boot repair : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/boot-repair

j'ai la dernière version de windows et windows 8 sur le pc (avant la maj à jours)
comment je peux réparer le problème alors que un de mais pc à déjà été maj au 10 avec aussi ubuntu sur l'ordi sans problème

ps : quand je clique sur avancé dans boot repair la partit grub ne peux être modifié (gris)

Pour une raison inconnue de moi cette installation de Ubuntu a disparu et c'est la raison du "grub rescue" que tu as au démarrage : le chargeur d'amorçage de Ubuntu qui se trouve dans le MBR of /dev/sdb recherche une partition Ubuntu qui n'existe plus.
Moi je ne sais pas te sortir de là pour réparer Ubuntu qui n'existe plus. Si des données très précieuses se trouvaient dans cette install de Ubuntu et que tu veux les récupérer, contacte un spécialiste (un sérieux ici). Quant à réparer le démarrage de Windows 10, je ne suis pas assez connaisseur pour t'aider et je te suggère de demander de l'aide sur un forum Windows.

Sur le système ubuntu il n'y avais aucun donnée précieux car je sauvegardais les modification ou fichiers récents sur ubuntu envoyé à la fin vers ma partition windows,
je dois réinstallé ubuntu ou réparer le problème ou voir du côté de windows et demandé sur un forum pour réparer le problème tout en ayant plus ubuntu c'est bien ça ?

Il faudra réinstaller Ubuntu ultérieurement. Mais la priorité c'est de réparer le démarrage de Windows 10 et pour ce faire je te suggère de demander de l'aide sur un forum Windows.
Les gros accidents, c'est plutôt quand on fait une réinstallation de Windows : là il y a risque pour le partitionnement et il peut y avoir ce genre de disparition de partitions parce qu'il y a eu modif de la table de partitions. Mais dans le cas d'une mise à niveau de Windows 8 vers Windows 10, il n'y a pas de modif du partitionnement (du moins je crois) aussi je ne comprends pas pourquoi ni comment c'est arrivé.

merci je vais le tester, une question malbo je peux réinstaller ubuntu maintenant sur la même partition, le problème serais réglé et je pourrais de nouveau choisir entre ubuntu et windows donc finaliser la mise à jours de windows 10 ou c'est risqué ?

d'accord je vais faire de cette façon mais je ne souhaits pas "Réinitialiser ce PC " windows car risque de perte de donnée, je vous tiens au courant sur l'avancement de la réparation du démarrage windows

Je pense que tu as raison de considérer qu'il n'y a pas nécessité de "Réinitialiser ce PC" et qu'il faut tenter de réparer le démarrage de Windows 10. Fais-toi aider sur un forum Windows pour faire cette réparation du démarrage : très souvent la réparation automatique du démarrage n'aboutit à rien ou ne fonctionne pas du tout et il faut utiliser l'invite de commande.

le problème doit sans doute venir d'un grub non à jours pour windows 10
- sur un pc ou j'utilisais plus ubuntu en ligne la mise à jours de 8 à 10 c'est bien passé
- sur celui-ci c'est plus hors ligne, connexion internet quelque fois, la mise à jours c'est mal déroulé,

et comment tu l'as souligné plus haut sdb4 qui héberge ubuntu n'offre pas la partie grub qui ne peut être touché

merci, malbo, une question quand j'avais ubuntu 14... mais quand là je viens de faire une live usb,
quand j'essaye ubuntu que je vais vers gparted vers la partition
dev/sda4 extended 402.50 gib
unallocated 39.06 gib
qui sont les 39gb environ que j'avais alloué pour ubuntu, donc si j'installe de nouveau ubuntu 14 ou 15 (mise jours ou non) le problème devrait être réglé ? puisse tout les autres partitions windows n'ont aucun problème j'ai accès au disque c du système windows et d avec le live usb de ubuntu ?

okay merci malbo pour l'aide, je viens de lancé la réparation du mbr, désormais j'ai laissé le problème grub, comme tu l'as souligné, le problème est réglé la mise à jours continue ou elle c'étais arrêté vers les 36% avant le redémarrage, merci pour l'aide et bien-sur du temps mis pour la résolution du problème,
ps: je vais essayé de faire de même et resté sur ubuntu-fr pour apporté mon aide à ceux qui auront des questions;), c'étais vraiment super encore bravo malbo:)

Salut,
Commence par enlever le drapeau "boot" inutile avec gparted. Tu en as un sur chaque disque, et visiblement celui de la partition sda1 ne sert à rien, à moins que ton Windows soit là-dedans, ce qui ne semble pas être le cas.
Démarre sur la console de réparation de Windows 10 (tu démarres le DVD ou l'USB en mode "réparer l'ordinateur"'. Sinon, quelqu'un la propose ici en version 64 bits, avec rufus pour créer la clé bootable :

Tu bootes dessus, et tu cherches l'invite de commandes. Tu fais les deux commandes habituelles :
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixbootW10 doit en principe redémarrer directement. Si message d'erreur, on avisera.
Edit. Tu as posté en même temps que moi. Je laisse néanmoins la procédure, elle peut resservir.

merci ikewdu, c'est vrai ça peut toujours servir j'avais ubuntu 14 et j'ai eu la mésaventure suite à la mise à jours vers windows 10, qui en plus à écraser la partition linux en la supprimant,

En principe, la mise à niveau n'intervient que sur la partition Windows, et éventuellement, elle crée une petite partition de 450 Mo sur laquelle elle colle son environnement de récupération (winre.wim). Le processus fait pas mal de choses douteuses, mais pas supprimer un système. Tu as dû faire une manipulation malheureuse...

c'est ton dernier message qui préconisais de laisser ubuntu et ce concentrer sur windows, au début je pensais que ubuntu étais toujours là mais suite au teste avec le live usb de ubuntu donc j'avais aussi parlé que la partition étais libre, je suis repartir sur " Boot Repair Disk "
donc au lieu d'essayer de réparer le grub,
j'ai fait celà : http://image.noelshack.com/minis/2015/35/1440666809-img-5401.png option avancé et sélectionné le système sdat1 (boot) windows 8 qui étais l'actuel système et appliquer.
après celà le problème à été réglé, et la mise à jours qui étais à 36% c'est remis en route, la mise à jours c'est terminé vers 15h20, tout est fonctionnel

non je t'ai rien effectué démarré le processus de mise à niveau de ma session windows comme préconiser choisir de garder les application et fichiers puis la mise à jours c'est mise en route, après c'est automatique puisque c'est pas une installation je ne peux effectué des manipulation à pars interne à windows comme gardé les application ou non
pour ceux qui et de la partition de 450MB elle à été aussi bien été créer par windows tout à été bine fait sauf la suppresion d'un autre système pendant la mise à jours.
sur 2 mise à jours effectué pour windows 10 avec un système ubuntu un à parfaitement marché et celui d'aujourd'hui
les anciennes mise à jours de 7 à 8 eux aussi n'ont eu aucun problème,

Merci pour tes explications. En somme, Boot-repair-Disk a réellement réussi à réparer ton démarrage de Windows. Je croyais que ce machin n'était bon qu'à embrouiller les situations les plus simples. Surprenant.

On y voit comme chez toi la création d'une partition "Hidden NTFS WinRE" d'une taille de 450 Mio (correspondant à 921600 secteurs de 512 octets) qui a dû être faite par Windows pendant la mise à niveau. Comme chez toi, cette partition est située juste avant la partition étendue. La partition /home qui se trouvait en début de la partition étendue a tout bonnement disparu. Dans ton cas, je ne sais pas si ton installation de Ubuntu était constituée de plusieurs partitions logiques se trouvant dans la partition étendue mais comme on le sait tout à disparu sauf ta partition NTFS (sdb5) se trouvant en fin de partition étendue. On dirait bien qu'il y a du bug de Windows dans l'air...
EDIT 1 : quand il n'y a que Windows sur le disque - comme dans ce cas - ça se passe bien : la partition "Hidden NTFS" se trouve une petite place en fin de disque dur et tout baigne.
EDIT 2 : parmi les quelques victimes, pour l'instant je ne vois que des cas où Windows et Ubuntu cohabitent sur le même disques dur et sont installés en mode non-EFI (mode Bios classique). On peut rêver mais il est possible que les possesseurs de Windows 8 (ou 8.1) préinstallés ne soient pas concernés par ce bug, du fait que tous ces préinstallés le sont sur un partitionnement GPT en mode EFI. On verra bien.
