DDE toujours branché

Attends 15 secondes puis

Contrôle :

mount | grep /sdc2

et de nouveau

ls -la /media/ubuntu/Untitled

Désolé de te décevoir, mais j'ai toujours le même problème : je ne peux ni ouvrir ce dossier "movies", ni le copier sur mon pc. (pour info, je n'ai pour l'instant que ça sur mon DDE, c'est juste pour tester)

S'il te plaît,
Commence par, depuis ton mac, donner une "étiquette" ou "label", c'est-à-dire un nom à ton volume sdc2. Un nom SANS espaces ni caractères accentués, genre DDE-1T.

Ensuite, toujours depuis ton mac, ce serait un gros plus si tu créais deux dossiers à la racine de ton DDE : "Chiffre" et "Clair".
Dans Chiffre, tu mettrais tout ce que tu veux garder chiffré,
et dans Clair, Movies et tout ce que tu veux partager avec ubuntu.
                   -----------
Puis, depuis ubuntu, DDE débranché :

sudo mkdir /media/ubuntu/DDE-1T
sudo chown ubuntu:ubuntu  /media/ubuntu/DDE-1T

  et après branchement du DDE et vérification par

mount | grep /sd

  si ton DDE est bien monté sous /media/ubuntu/DDE-1T,

sudo chown ubuntu:ubuntu -Rf /media/ubuntu/DDE-1T/Clair
ls -la /media/ubuntu/DDE-1T/Clair

Désolé, mais je suis pas sûr de comprendre. ça veut dire quoi exactement quand un truc est chiffré ? Et pourquoi je voudrais garder un truc chiffré ? Désolé si ma question est très naïve.
Et c'est quoi ce que je voudrais partager avec Ubuntu ? C'est des trucs qui apparaîtront ici, sur ce forum ?

Mais on dirait que tu n'as pas vu mon message de ce matin.

Si tu parles d'un des 2 DDI, c'est un de tes collègues, sur qui je jetterai pas la pierre parce qu'il m'a beaucoup aidé

Euh... J'avais lu, et j'ai relu ton autre fil. herberts t'a conseillé comme je n'aurais pas été capable de le faire ! Tu peux en effet le remercier !
Et à aucun moment il ne t'a fait formater ton sda sans partitionnement ! Ou alors j'ai vraiment mal lu.

Désolé Moko, mais je ne peux toujours pas ni ouvrir ni copier le dossier "movies"...

Oui oui, en effet, herberts m'a beaucoup aidé (si tu lis ça herberts, merci encore !). Pour le partitionnement, j'ai évidemment rien touché. J'ai reçu mon ordi comme ça.

Bizarre ! Tu n'as pas eu de message d'erreur et ça ne marche pas ?!

Rafraichis l'affichage, et si ça ne suffit pas, lance et donne

sudo chown ubuntu:ubuntu  /media/ubuntu/Untitled1 && sudo chown -Rf ubuntu:ubuntu  /media/ubuntu/Untitled1/Movies

et dis si tes films redeviennent visibles ou non.

C'est moi qui suis désolé : je n'avais pas vu le message #43.
Le chiffrement (d'un dossier, par exemple) a pour but de le rendre illisible aux utilisateurs ne disposant pas d'un mot de passe, pour protéger la confidentialité de certains documents.
Or si on regarde le #37...
Sur ton mac, n'as-tu pas un mot de passe ou une "passphrase" pour accéder à ce répertoire/dossier du DDE?

...partager... avec ton compte
Or il se trouve que ton fournisseur a appelé ton compte "ubuntu". C'est une source d'ambiguïté, qui ne se produirait pas si ton compte s'appelait olivier80.
