Clés USB non détectées [Résolu]

Bonjour,

Je viens de me rendre compte que mes clés USB sous Ubuntu 8.04 n'étaient pas détectées ( Elles l'étaient avec Ubuntu GG ). Je ne me souviens pas d'avoir essayé depuis que je suis passé à Ubuntu 8.04 ( je l'ai peut-être fait et que ça marchait à l'époque) mais une chose est sûre, ça marchait sous Ubuntu GG...

Pourriez-vous m'aider ?

Et quand une de tes clés est branché, que donne un lsusb dans un terminal ?

Ben apparemment tout vient de l'erreur usb 2-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71.

J'avais commencé quelques recherches sur ce message... mais pour le moment rien trouvé.

Quel est la marque, le model, de ta clé ?

il y aurait un bug usb dans ubuntu qui pourrait te causer ce soucis.
Pour essayer de le corriger il faut modifier un fichier, qu'on va sauvegarder avant, au cas ou.
Donc pour sauvegarder le fichier dans son répertoire home :

sudo cp /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend ~/autosuspend_bak

Ensuite tu modifie ce fichier en faisant :

sudo echo -1 >/sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend

Puis tu redemarre et tu regardes si ta cle fonctionne.

Si tu veux remettre en place le fichier tel qu'il était tu fait :

sudo cp ~/autosuspend_bak /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend

J'ai un problème dès la première ligne de code ( celle qui sert à sauvegarder le fichier à modifier):

cp: ne peut créer le fichier régulier `/sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend_bak': Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

Désolé j'aurai du essayer la comande. J'ai modifié mon message pour qu'elle fonctionne correctement en sauvegardant le fichier dans le répertoire utilsateur a la place du repertoire d'origine.

ça a marché...lorsque j'ai introduit la première clé...J'ai ensuite démonté le volume pour essayer avec les suivantes mais ça n'a pas fonctionné. Je suis alors revenu à la première pour voir si elle était encore reconnue mais là encore, j'ai fait chou blanc... ( je précise que toutes les clés sont reconnues sous Windows. Elles fonctionnent donc correctement)

Essaye de faire des dmesg après avoir branché tes clés, tu verra ce que le systeme essaye de faire et là ou il echoue dans les derniers messages de dmesg.

Tu peux ensuite chercher ces erreurs sous google, ou les poster ici.

essaye

sudo rmmod ehci-hcd

Ca devrait faire fonctionner tes ports usb en 1.1 au lieu de 2 donc a vitesse reduite.
Ca résoud souvent ce genre de problème.

Cela veut dire que tes connectiques (probablement cable usb, ou peut etre port usb je ne sais pas) ne sont pas de bonne qualité et ne supportent pas le mode USB 2.0 car a cette vitesse il y a des erreurs de lecture.

Une autre solution est de mettre un hub usb, ca resoud souvent les problemes et permet de rester en usb 2.
