[SOS] Deux écrans ça marche, un seul ça ne marche pas !

Bonjour,

J'ai installé KUbuntu 15.10 depuis un petit mois, et tout fonctionne à peu près bien.
Sauf ce matin...
J'ai un deuxième écran en VGA, tout fonctionnait encore bien hier soir.
Mon écran d'ordinateur portable aussi.
Depuis ce matin, lorsque j'allume mon portable sans le deuxième écran, j'arrive jusqu'à l'écran pour mon mot de passe, puis le mot de passe validé, la barre de progression avance un peu, puis écran noir total !
Si je branche mon deuxième écran (avec redémarrage de la machine), là tout fonctionne très bien (et c'est ce qui me permet d'écrire en ce moment).

j'ai installé le pilote propriétaire (celui conseillé, mais en fait déconseillé si je comprends bien ?!) à partir de mes paramètres système, mais là c'est pire que tout... ça ne marche même plus avec mes deux écrans.
J'indique mon mot de passe, valide, puis la barre avance de moitié pour revenir à l'écran mot de passe...
Au secours !!! Grosse galère !!!!

Rien ne s'affiche à l'écran (en mode failsafe sélectionné lors de l'écran de connexion), mais on sent que l'écran n'est pas tout-à-fait noir (comme si l'affichage était à côté, mais pas au milieu de mon écran).

une nouveau message apparaît : "nous sommes désolés, l'application sddm-greeter s'est arrêtée brutalement.
et donc demande d'un rapport de bug à envoyer...
Ca, c'est quand l'autre écran en VGA est branché.
Lorsque le deuxième écran est débranché, l'écran de mon portable est véritablement noir !

C – 4 –> J’ai aussi ajouté l’exploitation du microcode (Ca sert à corriger les bugs du bios sans le changer, bref à bien gérer votre processeur.)
Là la manip dépend de si on a un processeur intel ou un AMD.
Si vous ne savez pas quel est votre processeur faites :

lscpu
ça vous donnera des infos sur votre processeur dont une ligne « GenuineIntel » ou « AuthenticAMD » ou autre chose pour de plus rares bécanes.

Si donc vous avez un processeur Intel (ET UNIQUEMENT POUR UN INTEL):

sudo apt-get install intel-microcode
Ceci est un complément à ce qui est mis à disposition dans linux firmware.

Si votre processeur est un AMD : bonne nouvelle, vous n’avez rien à faire, votre microcode est inclus dans linux-firmware.

note : petite parenthèse, certains sont troublés par le nom des versions 32 et 64 bits d’Ubuntu et variantes. En effet, les 32 s’appellent i686, les 64 s’appellent amd64 – ces deux noms sont à ne pas confondre avec la marque de votre processeur, ils désignent simplement l’architecture du processeur – Donc on installe bien indifféremment une Xubuntu amd64 (qui s’appelle aussi x86_64) sur un processeur Intel ou sur un processeur AMD 64 bits, confusionnant n’est ce pas ?

Bon, je pense avoir compris pourquoi tout le monde me boude... j'ai réussit à trouver l'info, il me semble :

sous Ubuntu, le gestionnaire de pilote propriétaires propose l'installation des pilotes propriétaires nVidia (en indiquant la mention "recommandé", ce qui induit l'utilisateur en erreur), il NE faut surtout PAS procéder à l'installation de ces pilotes, l'installation de ceux-ci résultera soit à un écran noir au prochain redémarrage, soit si on a de la chance, à une simple perte de l'accélération 3D fournie par la carte Intel, ce qui se verra par un basculement d'Unity vers Unity 2D et l'impossibilité d'utiliser un programme nécessitant des capacités 3D. La solution est de démarrer en mode de récupération si nécessaire pour accéder à un terminal, puis de lancer ceci : sudo apt-get purge nvidia-current, et normalement, l'accélération graphique devrait fonctionner de nouveau.
