Mise a Jour de Win7 vers Win10 et grub qui saute !
Bonjour à toute et à tous,
Sans avoir rien demandé, win10 s'installe sur mon ordi que j'avais oublié d'éteindre sur win7 pour faire une MAJ d'un GPS...
Le lendemain matin, un nouvel écran (windows10)...bref, ça mouline...finalement, reboot...et ....
...La, plus rien, si ce n'est un prompt : " Grub rescue > "...
...Je parcours fébrilement ce site et installe "Boot-Repair" sur une clé USB.
Après une réparation automatique, l'ordi redémarre, la MAJ Win10 se poursuit et se termine finalement.
Me voila avec cette P...n de version dont je ne voulais point...(ça fait 3 jours que je maudis BG, (Porte et fenêtres pour 10 générations)
De plus, plus moyen d’accéder au BIOS ! ....Inquiétudes, ....mais pas grave, suffit de désactiver la mise en hibernation ...mais faut chercher pour trouver !
Ce qui m'emm... beaucoup dans cette histoire , c'est que mon Ubuntu 14.04 est inaccessible, snif !, plus de GRUB ...., que Windows au démarrage, et je n'ose pas me lancer dans les options avancés de Boot-repair sans avoir quelques avis éclairés, sinon éclairants.
Ci-joint donc le fichier généré par Boot-repair en espérant que celui-ci inspire quelques fortiches spécialistes, moi, je patauge désespérément.
C'est la première fois que je fais ce genre de demande, j'espère ne pas faire d'impairs .

Salut,
Normalement ceci devrait marcher :
1/ Sous Windows 10, presser <SHIFT| et cliquer sur Redémarrer.
2/ "Choisir une option"
3/ sélectionner "Utiliser un périphérique"
4/ sélectionner "ubuntu"
Le pc devrait redémarrer avec un bon Grub qui permet de choisir Ubuntu
Comme cette brute de Windows 10 a écrasé le super démarrage au boot ( 
) il te suffira sous Ubuntu dans un terminal de taper :
sudo grub-installPour retrouver un Grub fonctionnel.
Tu peux revenir en arrière en virant windows 10 et en retrouvant Windows seven mais tu as un mois pour le faire, pas plus !

Euh !!! Vous avez réussi à rester calme jusque là ?! Je suis sûr de mon truc à 99% mais peut-être que quelqu'un vous dira le contraire… asseyez-vous…:
Il semblerait que W$ ait tout simplement buté Ubuntu ! 
Mais il me semble qu'il en reste une trace. Il est donc fortement probable qu'on puisse le réparer. 
J'ai du mal à y croire ! Si je ne me trompe pas, ce sont vraiment des ordures !
Je vous explique :
Au début du rapport vous avez les différents disques.
Sde ne compte pas, c'est boot-repair
sdb, c'est un Vista
Sur sda on trouve du Windows et puis une partition extended, mais qui apparaît vide et était sans doute votre linux. W$, avec sa délicatesse coutumière a dû lui bousiller, pour le moins, ses fichiers de boot. Du coup il n’apparaît plus.
Personnellement je me débrouille et en ayant le PC dans les mains j'arriverais sans doute à le relancer. Mais à distance il ne s'agit pas de se débrouiller mais de maîtriser. Ça serait donc bien qu'un pro passe par là, comme Malbo. Mais il est très demandé…
Alors, vous pourriez commencer par vérifier ma thèse.
Démarrez sur un système sur clé usb et essayez de visiter cette fameuse partition (si elle veut bien se monter). Vous devriez voir l'architecture d'un système linux (à la racine on trouve bin, boot, home, usr, lib, media, root…).
Ensuite on essayera de la réparer.
Mais aviez-vous des données importantes dessus ? Le plus simple serait peut-être de les sortir de là (vos données sont dans le «home») et de réinstaller. Ça prend 15min une installation.
Je ne vous donne que des indications générales parce que je ne connais pas votre «niveau».

La signature du crime, je la décris dans ce post, c'est ça : "Le drame se produit quand la partition sdx5 se trouve en fin de partition étendue". C'est ton cas : ta partition sda5 est en fin de partition étendue.
Ton Ubuntu a été viré. Il est possible de le récupérer avec Testdisk mais moi je ne sais pas aider à le faire.

Si tu as absolument besoin de récupérer tes fichiers de données, cela devrait être possible avec testdisk. sinon refaire une installation neuve est plus rapide, et plus simple.

1/ Sous Windows 10, presser <SHIFT| et cliquer sur Redémarrer.
2/ "Choisir une option"
3/ sélectionner "Utiliser un périphérique"
4/ sélectionner "ubuntu"
Le pc devrait redémarrer avec un bon Grub qui permet de choisir Ubuntu
Comme cette brute de Windows 10 a écrasé le super démarrage au boot (
sudo grub-installPour retrouver un Grub fonctionnel.
Tu peux revenir en arrière en virant windows 10 et en retrouvant Windows seven mais tu as un mois pour le faire, pas plus !
Merci beaucoup pour tes conseils, mais je n'ai pas tout a fait le menu que tu suggère, dans les options, je n'ai pas "Utiliser un périphérique" , en tout cas je ne trouves pas. Je vais regarder plus attentivement demain. Merci encore, je tiens tous le monde au courant...
Rien n'existe qu'on y pense !
