[résolu] échec de migration de Kubuntu 14.04 vers Kde 16.04
Bonjour,
Je suis nouveau sur le forum et peu habile en informatique...
J'utilise Kubuntu 14.04 depuis bientôt 2 ans et j'ai voulu faire la migration vers 16.04 en méthode graphique aujourd'hui.
Ma première tentative s'est arrêtée avant la phase "nettoyage" avec une erreur, impossible de redémarrer mon ordinateur (seulement l'affichage de "Kubuntu" et rien d'autre, jamais le login ne s'est affiché, j'ai attendu plus d'une heure)
J'ai réinstallé Kubuntu 14.04 avec ma clé USB, puis j'ai réessayé la migration automatique à partir de cette nouvelle installation.
La migration semble s'être effectuée correctement (sans erreur) puis j'ai lancé le redémarrage de l'ordinateur... Kubuntu clignotte 4 fois puis j'ai un écran noir sans que mon login ne me soit demandé... j'ai attendu 1 heure, mais rien.
Mon ordinateur :
DELL Latitude e6400
intel Core 2 duo 2,26 GHz
carte graphique : VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)
Je n'ai sauvegardé que "Mes documents" mais pas mon installation, je réinstalle la version 14.04 pour travailler ce soir, en espérant une aide de votre part pour réussir la migration un autre jour.

Quand je démarre ma Kubuntu, j'ai un écran noir... je bascule vers tty2 via key: <ctrl>+<alt>+<f2>... je me logue... puis j'exécute cette commande:
$ sudo service sddm start
et suite à cette cmd j'ai ma fenêtre de login en mode graphique qui apparaît...
Si cette "manip" fonctionne aussi chez toi, ça voudra dire que tu souffres apparemment du même problème que pti-jean et il conviendra d'essayer la solution qu'il a indiquée dans le post #15
Si cette manip ne fonctionne pas, je te suggère de te fabriquer un support live (LiveUSB de préférence ou bien LiveDVD) de Kubuntu 16.04.1, puis de faire une session live (démarrage de l'ordi sur le support live, choix "Essayer Ubuntu") afin de vérifier que tout est apparemment fonctionnel en session live. Si c'est le cas, un avenir lumineux s'ouvre à toi : tu peux tenter une réinstallation ou bien une installation toute neuve (oui, c'est meilleur) de Kubuntu 16.04.
Si la session live de Kubuntu 16.04.1 ne fonctionne pas bien dans ton ordi, ce sera plus compliqué.

et merci pour ton aide.
J'ai créé un LiveUSB mais celui-ci ne fonctionne pas. L'ordinateur s'allume, la clé est détectée puis j'ai l'écran suivant pendant quelques secondes, puis l'ordinateur s'éteind :
Modération : merci d'utiliser des images de petite taille (300x300) ou des miniatures pointant sur ces images (Des hébergeurs comme Toile Libre ou TDCT'Pix le permettent).

J'ai fait une autre clé LiveUSB (j'avais un doute sur la qualité de la première et sur son formatage), et j'ai réussi à lancer Kde 16.04.1 que j'ai installé, tout fonctionne correctement ^^
Cela n'a pas résolu mon problème lors de la migration automatique, mais j'ai la nouvelle évolution de Kde.

Je vais mentionnerJ'ai mentionné ton expérience dans la ligne concernant le modèle "Latitude E6400" de la Liste des portables « Dell ». Pour que ça donne un exemple d'installation réussie, pourrais-tu faire un Boot-Info depuis une session de ton Kubuntu 16.04.1 fraîchement installé et donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse ?

oui, je n'ai que Kubuntu sur mon disque dur et j'ai installé Kde 16.04.1 en mode automatique, en effaçant toutes mes données précédentes pour repartir avec une base propre
