[Résolu] Installation de Ubuntu 16.04.01 sur un Asus - UX330UA

Bonjour,
Je dois installer (pour quelqu'un d'autre) Ubuntu 16.04.1 sur un ordinateur portable très récent, avec Secure Boot et UEFI, sur lequel voici quelques renseignements :

Asus - UX330UA
-  Intel Core i7 (2.5 - 3.1 GHz)
- 8 Go de RAM
- c'est bien du 64 bits
- Deux disques : un SSD sur lequel est installé windows 10 (il n'y a que cela dessus) et un autre disque standard vide.
Je souhaite bien n'installer que linux (ubuntu), et supprimer windows, dont je n'ai pas l'usage.
Jusqu'ici, l'ordinateur a simplement été mis en route après achat pour vérifier son bon fonctionnement.
Rien d'autre ne sera installé dessus avant de passer à Ubuntu.
Les partitions :
- Partition du système EFI (de base, 260 Mo)
- Partition de récupération (de base, 499 Mo)
- DATA (D:)    (de base, NTFS, partition principale, 286.16 Go)
- OS (C:)       (de base, NTFS, démarrer fichier d'échange, vidage sur incident, partition principale, 190.02 Go)

J'ai déjà fait de nombreuses installations, mais en mode Legacy, et je ne voudrais pas commettre de bévue.
J'hésite un peu à supprimer Windows (à voir).

En désactivant le Secure Boot, on a pu démarrer sur boot-repair-disk-64bit.iso (clé MultiSystem), pour générer le boot-info, que voici :

Déjà, tu parles de deux disques durs et le rapport n'en indique qu'un.
Il faudrait déjà voir à ce niveau pourquoi on ne voit pas ce deuxième disque dur, avant d'aller plus loin.

D'après le descriptif du post #1, je pense qu'il s'agit du modèle Asus UX330UA-FB018R visible sur cette page. Si ce n'est pas ça, je te prie de donner la référence exacte du modèle.
Pour installer Ubuntu à la place de Windows, je te suggère de faire l'installation en automatique en sélectionnant "Effacer le disque et installer Ubuntu" à l'étape "Type d'installation". Mais surtout, ne coche PAS la case "Chiffrer la nouvelle installation de Ubuntu pour la sécurité" ni la case "Utiliser LVM pour la nouvelle installation de Ubuntu" : ce sont des options merdiques.
Tu peux faire cette installation en mode EFI (en laissant le Boot Mode sur UEFI dans le "Bios") ou bien tu peux faire cette installation en mode non-EFI (en passant le Boot Mode sur Legacy au lieu de UEFI) si tu préfères.

EDIT : j'ai la même interrogation que 89paladins par rapport à ce que tu as mentionné dans ton post #1 : "Deux disques : un SSD sur lequel est installé windows 10 (il n'y a que cela dessus) et un autre disque standard vide". Ce "disque standard vide", pourquoi on ne le voit pas dans le Boot-Info ?  Je ne te demande pas de le connecter si tu l'as déconnecté exprès pour éviter que l'installateur de Ubuntu se trompe de disque, ce que je demande c'est que tu nous expliques pourquoi tu parles de ce disque alors qu'il n'est pas là.

@Babdu89 : tu dois avoir raison. Je viens de regarder la partie "df -Th" du Boot-Info du post #1 et je constate que la partition /dev/sda5 (dont la Label est "DATA") est occupée seulement par 131 Mo sur 287 Go, c'est à dire qu'elle est quasiment vide.

Je suis le possesseur de la machine dont il est question.

Tout d'abord, il s'agit bien d'un Asus UX330UA-FB018R.

Ensuite, je tiens à m'excuser car j'avais naïvement pensé que deux disques étaient présents sur l'ordinateur, mais ce simplement à la vue des deux éléments C:\ et D:\ depuis windows.
Il doit bien ne s'agir en fait que de plusieurs partitions d'un même disque, ainsi que vous le suggérez.

@Si2Sol1La1Ré3 : si ça ne te dérange pas de conserver Windows 10 et d'installer Ubuntu en cohabitation avec lui, le tuto proposé par Babdu89 est à utiliser. Si par contre tu souhaites virer complètement Windows 10, il est possible d'installer Ubuntu en mode EFI ou bien en mode non-EFI (mode legacy) : j'ai expliqué comment faire dans le post #3.

Bonjour!
Je suis depuis quelques minutes votre discussion. J'ai essayé les 2 modes d'installation dont vous causez pour aboutir à : impossible d'installer Grub 2. Mon ordi est un self assembled avec un ssd vierge. Que me proposez-vous?

Nous avons finalement opté pour l'installation en dual-boot, qui a été réalisée avec succès grâce à vos conseils.

  1. Sous Windows, suppression de la dernière partition (la D: qui était vide)

  2. Essayer Ubuntu sans l'installer : Création des partitions  /  swap  /home  dans l'espace libéré

  3. Installer Ubuntu : Option Autre pour choisir manuellement les partitions, et installation les doigts dans le nez

Le menu Grub donne le choix de l'OS au démarrage, avec Ubuntu par défaut.

Merci pour le retour.
Je viens d'ajouter le modèle Asus UX330UA-FB018R dans la Liste des portables « Asus ».
Pour mémoire, les caractéristiques de ce modèle sont visibles sur cette page. Il est équipé d'un processeur Intel Core i7-6500U ; la partie gestion graphique "Intel HD graphics 520" est implantée sur la même puce que le processeur (il n'y a pas de "carte" graphique dédiée).

Bonjour les amis,

J'aurais voulu vous poser une question Si2Sol1La1Ré3 et Pingouinux, maintenant que ça fait un peu plus de deux mois que vous tournez sur le UX330: vous avez rencontré des problèmes de compatibilité avec cette machine?

J'avais un UX303LA avant d'acheter celui-là, et j'avais eu quelques soucis de compatibilité avec le touchpad notamment, et quelques raccourcis clavier. Ces problèmes ont-ils été réglés avec les différentes MAJ, ou vous avez du tout paramétrer manuellement? Juste pour me donner une idée avant de passer au tout Ubuntu.
