[Résolu] Installer Ubuntu sur un Thinkpad E550

Bonjour

Ça y est j'ai fait l’acquisition d'un thinkpad récent, un E550, je vais installer dessus 16.04 en dual boot.
Y a t il des pièges a éviter ?
Pouvez vous m'aiguiller ?

Je m'occupe du bootinfo (j'ai vu que les gens mettent un url de leur boot, ça dérange si je le colle entre deux barre code ?) ce soir si j'ai le temps.

Moi ça ne me dérange pas à condition que tu saches faire ça proprement avec les balises code. Comme certains ont du mal avec les balises, j'ai pris l'habitude de demander l'URL pour éviter ça.

Ça veut dire que tu avais mis ton message dans une discussion où tu avais peu de chances d'avoir une réponse. Coup de bol que malbo soit tombé dessus. Donc comme modérateur j'ai pu séparer ton message de la discussion et j'en ai fait une nouvelle discussion.

Bonjour

La clé est créée, mais lorsque j'allume l'ordi, il ne boote pas dessus, je peux rentrer dans le bios, mais pourtant dans les priorités, l'usb est en premier ...
Je voudrai bien vous mettre des images du bios (mais je ne sais pas poster d'image sur le forum) pour que vous me disiez quoi faire, mais peut etre n'en avez vous pas besoin ?

Tu peux t'inscrire sur Casimages, par exemple ou un autre hébergeur de ton choix. Il suffit alors de donner l'URL de la copie d'écran.

Malbo j'ai scrupuleusement suivi tes recommandations pour la fabrication de la clé, formatée en Fat, puis utilisé Unetbootin, mais comme ça ne bootait pas dessus, je l'ai refaite avec "créateur de disque de démarrage" sans plus de succès .

j'ai lu ça sur la doc des live usb :

Cas des bios uefi en 32 bits
Sur certains ordinateurs le bios uefi a besoin d'un exécutable en 32 bits sur la clé pour démarrer, or par défaut Ubuntu le propose en 64 bits. Cela concerne en particulier les bios InsydeH20. Pour résoudre ce problème:
Téléchargez le fichier suivant,
Créez votre clé USB grâce à Unetbootin ou Rufus si vous êtes sous Windows,
Copiez le fichier téléchargé bootia32.efi dans le dossier /EFI/BOOT de la clé,
Démarrez normalemen sur la clé, ou bien naviguez jusqu'au fichier bootia32.efi
Il est également possible d'utiliser multisystem pour cette opération, dans ce cas il vous suffit de mettre le fichier bootia32.efi dans le dossier EFI/BOOT de la clé.

Dans cette vue de ton Bios dont tu as donné le lien, on peut lire : "Machine Type Model : 20DF00CQFR". On peut retrouver cette référence dans cette page du site LDLC dans laquelle le nom de modèle est : "Lenovo ThinkPad E550 (20DF00CQFR)"
Tu as donné cette vue dans laquelle on voit Windows qui démarre mais c'est quel Windows (Win7, Win10, autre) ?

La ligne intéressante est :

path                    \Windows\system32\winload.exe

comme elle indique l'utilisation du fichier winload.exe, cela veut dire que Windows 7 est installé en mode non-EFI (mode Bios classique). Conformément à ce que j'explique dans ce tuto, il est impératif d'installer Ubuntu dans le même mode que Windows donc en mode non-EFI.
Dans cette vue de ton "Bios" dont tu as donné le lien dans le post #9, je vois un paramètre "UEFI/Legacy Boot" qui est sur "Both", ce qui signifie que les deux modes de démarrage (mode EFI et mode non-EFI) sont autorisés. Cela ne convient pas car tu risques de faire des conneries avec ce réglage : je te prie de remplacer "Both" par l’alternative qui autorise seulement Legacy (ça pourrait être "Legacy only") afin que tu ne puisses démarrer qu'en mode non-EFI sur ta LiveUSB Ubuntu.
Quand tu auras fait cela, la procédure de démarrage sur la LiveUSB sera la suivante :
1) démarrage de l'ordi par le bouton Power
2) connexion à chaud de la LiveUSB (moins d'une seconde après que tu aies pressé le bouton Power). Cela force la détection de cette LiveUSB par le "Bios".
3) tu presses immédiatement la touche F12 et tu la maintiens pressée(*) afin de faire apparaître le Boot Menu. Dans ce menu, tu dois voir ta clé USB. Si elle n’apparaît pas; c'est qu'elle est mal réalisée.

(*) il y a des cas où il vaut mieux presser cette touche F12 de façon répétitive jusqu'à ce que le Boot Menu apparaisse. Tu essaieras les deux méthodes.

Ok c'est fait, effectivement, j'y ai vu ma clé, je l'ai sélectionnée, et ça a booté dessus.
je suis arrivé au deuxieme écran de https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/uefi#identifi … n_mode_efi
je suis donc en session live, je te fais un bootinfo

Non, ton Win7 est encore vierge des conneries que tu peux faire. C'est ce que je voulais dire.
Moi je te conseille d'envisager la cohabitation ubuntu/Windows 7. Je te conseille de prendre cette doc comme guide en prenant garde à ne pas sauter distraitement le paragraphe 1. Précautions. On y parle de "Sauvegarder vos données importantes" et comme je vois que tu as environ 60 Go sur ton disque C: de Win7, je pense qu'il doit y avoir des données à sauvegarder là-dedans. On y parle aussi de prendre des précautions pour pouvoir réinstaller Win7 dans le cas où ça se passerait vraiment mal lors de l'installation (ça n'arrive pas qu'aux autres). Si tu as déjà eu des DVD de réinstallation de Win7 fournis par ton vendeur, c'est parfait. Sinon il faut créer ces supports de réinstallation (DVD ou clé USB de réinstallation) en demandant l'aide du fabricant de ton ordi au besoin ou sinon tu peux faire une image complète du disque dur suivant le tuto mijoté par ton serviteur : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … 2#p3892422

Pour les données importantes, sur win, je n'en ai pas, c'est un ordi d'occasion, donc c'est celle de l'ancien proprio, d’ailleurs si tu sais comment je peux réinitialiser ce disque dur avant l'installation en dualboot, ça m'intéresse afin que win prenne le minimum de place.

Je ne sais pas faire ça mais tu peux poser la question sur un forum généraliste qui aide pour Windows 7. Ou bien tu peux créer une discussion dans la section "Support non officiel pour les autres systèmes d'exploitation" du forum ubuntu-fr et poser ta question. Mais à mon avis, c'est une question purement Windows et c'est plutôt la première proposition (forum généraliste Win7) qui me parait la plus efficace.

Il te faut au moins 30 Go de libre.
Il faut que tu demandes à windows de se rétrécir. Je t'ai donné un lien pour le second cas.
Si tu as procédé à la réinstallation de windows, Tu n'as pas fait la modification de son fichier de paramétrage qui fixe la taille des partitions à créer. Par défaut. C'est la totalité du disque. C'est un peu comme pour ubuntu.

Actuellement, j'ai mes deux ordi, l'un avec ubuntu, et l'autre, le thinkpad avec win, donc je peux bosser sur ce dernier tout en restant disponible pour des explications sur mon ancien.

Alors, je viens de redimentionner la partition de C: en suivant la doc ubuntu, et voici ce que ça donne :
