Garmin OREGON
Bonsoir.
Tout d'abord, merci au modérateur de déplacer ma demande si elle n'est pas au bon endroit.
Mes enfants m'ont offert un Garmin Oregon.
Le logiciel incorporé est tellement CRETIN qu'il est inexploitable.
J'ai tenté de l'apprivoiser. Je croyais avoir compris. Mais je me suis trompé.
.
Pendant quelques semaines, je pouvais exporter mes déplacements de la région NORD-OUEST.
J'avais mis en paramètres le format GPX compatible GOOGLE.
Le problème qui est survenu: C'est que je me suis déplacé. J'ai donc installé un autre endroit.
Mais pas de chance: Une erreur de ma part? Une volonté de garmin? les exports de mes déplacements ne sont plus au format GPX, mais au format FIT.
J'ai donc modifié le paramétrage pour que cela ne se reproduise plus. Je verrais si cela marche.
En attendant, j'ai un gros problème. Google ne connaît pas le format .FIT
Je ne connais pas d'outils sachant le traiter. Je croyais avoir trouvé.

fit: Definition message reserved bits not zerot: Definition message reserved bits not zeroMais j'ai besoin de récupérer le tracé pour éviter de recommencer cette escalade assez pénible et qui a prit énormément de temps. Le plus pratique, pour moi, serait quand même de trouver un logiciel qui sait convertir de .FIT en .GPX
Le plus amusant c'est que la capture initiale (Dans le répertoire 'curent 'était en .GPX !!!!!!) mais n'est pas conservée et écrasée au déplacement suivant.

Sur cette page, on lit :
GPSBabel version 1.4.4 and later can convert from FIT to GPX. In the GUI it is listed as "Flexible and Interoperable Data Transfer (FIT) Activity filefit".
La version disponible sur ma trusty est la 1.4.3… Tu as bien la 1.4.4 ou plus récente ?

Je voudrais éviter d'installer windows XP sur cet ordinateur. WINE m'a tellement déçu que je ne fais plus de commentaires lorsque je vois quelqu'un qui a des problème avec wine. Alors qu'il est si simple d'utiliser windows!!!!!!

Mapconverter is an application used to create userland maps and map data for
Mapopolis.com's Mapopolis program. The mapconverter format is essentially
waypoint data prepared in a format that the mapconverter application will
accept.
The steps for using GPSBabel and Mapconverter go something like this:
Step 1: Create a mapconverter file using gpsbabel.
./gpsbabel -i geo -f geocaching.loc -o mapconverter -F foo.txt
Step 2: Launch mapconverter.exe and choose foo.txt as your input file.
Click the begin button to have mapconverter process foo.txt.
If all goes successfully, you should have a file called "foo.pdb" ready
for syncing with your PDA. Put it wherever Mapopolis thinks it should be
on your PDA.
NOTES:
o GPSBabel will write the name of its own output file in the output file
it creates as the input for Mapconverter. Mapconverter will replace
the extension of this filename with ".pdb".
o The PocketPC version of Mapopolis doesn't notice files with the ".pdb"
extension. To make this work, change the extension to ".mlp" when
copying the mapconverter output to your PocketPC PDA.
o Mapconverter only works with Mapopolis version 3.x. Mapopolis version
4 will refuse to load mapconverter maps. There is no known work-around
for this at the time of this writing.
o Mapconverter is no longer available from the Mapopolis website. If you
need a copy of mapconverter, ask on your local GPS Software discussion
forum and I'm sure someone will have it. As far as I know, It was never
actually acknowledged/supported by Mapopolis to begin with.

Il faut l'installer, je suppose en exécutant install-sh. Avant de faire ça, tu devrais peut-être désinstaller ton ancienne version.
Et si ce type d'installation ne t'emballe pas, tu peux essayer d'exécuter la version windows sous wine.

Sur la page de téléchargement que je t'ai donnée, il y a ça :
GPSBabel for Linux and other operating systems is a source distribution. You can choose between the release tar image here or the GPSBabel git repo and proceed to build.
Et là, on voit d'une part que Qt est nécessaire (mais il est certainement déjà installé sur ton système) et d'autre part qu'il fait faire un :

Au vu de la fin du retour de ./configure && make et d'après ce que je vois dans synaptic (je suis sous 14.04.5), je te suggérerais d'installer qt5-qmake. Mes compétences n'iront pas beaucoup plus loin, j'espère que d'autre membres vont pouvoir prendre le relais.
Et sinon, je renouvelle ma suggestion d'essayer la version windows sous wine (même si tu n'aimes pas trop wine).

Usage:

gpsbabel [options] -i INTYPE -o OUTTYPE INFILE [filter] OUTFILE
Converts GPS route and waypoint data from one format type to another.
The input type and filename are specified with the -i INTYPE
and -f INFILE options. The output type and filename are specified
with the -o OUTTYPE and -F OUTFILE options.
If '-' is used for INFILE or OUTFILE, stdin or stdout will be used.
In the second form of the command, INFILE and OUTFILE are the
first and second positional (non-option) arguments.
INTYPE and OUTTYPE must be one of the supported file types and
may include options valid for that file type. For example:
'gpx', 'gpx,snlen=10' and 'ozi,snlen=10,snwhite=1'
(without the quotes) are all valid file type specifications.
