L'affichage moche de l'écran de boot, c'est souvent dû à la présence de nvidia, il y a juste une petite option à changer dans le fichier grub.

Tu es sous Ubuntu saveur Gnome c'est ça, installé dès le départ, ou après coup en plus d'un autre environnement ? Quel y est le gestionnaire de session par défaut, Lightdm ou GDM ?

Pour revenir sur les questions posées, Coeur Noir, Gnome installé dès le départ, pas d'autre environnement, gestionnaire GDM.

Même si j'ai changé/je suis retournée à un ancien noyau, ça vaut le coup, nam1962 ? Et ça risque pas de faire "un vide" quelque part, dans ma présentation (au hasard wink ) ou ailleurs (perte du clic, non-réponse aux demandes, etc) ?

dit qu'on envoie la sortie vers un fichier nommé nom_fichier.

Et je ne vois rien de bizarre dans ton dmesg, il est lent là ton ordi quand tu lances ce dmesg ?
Dans le mien y a plus d'erreurs et de warnings sans que ça empêche mon ordi de tourner gentiment…

quand ton ordi est lent ? Y-a-t-il un processus qui prend un grand %age de cpu ou de mémoire ?

Tu peux voir ça aussi via l'appli moniteur système.

Lent ? Non pas du tout, Coeur Noir, mais j'ai appelé le Gestionnaire de MAJ (pour voir les pilotes) et la fenêtre m'affiche ça --> 1500740708.png

Avec le dernier noyau (4.4.1-83), il n'y avait rien dans les pilotes, me semble-t-il (!?!)...

Cela peut-il répondre - en partie - à ta question, nam1962 (suppression) ?

Si j'ai bien compris, pour le moment, depuis l'installation du pilote nVidia, tu ne peux avoir de session opérationnelle qu'en recovery ?

Si c'est effectivement le cas, coche la 4eme ligne et ça remettra le pilote "nouveau". Redémarre et dis nous si tu tournes bien sur une session normale. (A ce moment, on verra si ça vaut le coup de tester les autres versions nvidia)

Par ailleurs, je vois que le microdode n'est pas utilisé (section "inconnu") Pour moi tu devrais l'utiliser : en principe ça améliore la prise en compte du processeur (et c'est réversible si on avait pas satisfaction)

Non, nam1962, je n'ai pas eu le temps de passer en recovery, juste en liveUsb (dont je savais déjà que ça marchait pour la BBox et ses téléchargements), et le collègue m'a fait démarrer sur le précédent noyau (Grub, comment choisit-on le précédent non-recovery ? Aïe, la cervelle), ce qui implique - à chaque connexion - de passer choisir la version du noyau pour avoir l'affichage qui marche.


Je ne risque pas de me retrouver encore en rade "d'actions" (souris inopérante, affichage figé, aucune action possible) si je coche et Redémarre, nam1962 ?

C'est justement pourquoi je te propose de repasser sur nouveau : on verra si le démarrage sur le dernier noyau fonctionne ou pas (à ce stade il ne fonctionne pas, donc rien à perdre !
Pour le microcode, je le mets systématiquement dans toutes mes installs et tous mes tutos (pour ceux qui sont sous intel, bien sûr).

top et dmesg sont à lancer quand l'ordi se met à ramer : pour éventuellement voir ce qui est en train de poser problème.

Si tu les lances quand ça va bien, bah ils nous diront juste que tout va bien ;-)

Microcode, skylake, etc… → je n'arrive pas bien à trouver les specs de ton ordi imedia-S2870 de chez packardpoubell mais ça m'étonnerait qu'il soit si récent ?

Microcode, à tenter mais quelqu'un sait-il exactement ce qu'il fait, ce microcode Intel ?

Mouiiiii, nam1962, je n'en suis plus à ça près, mais comme Coeur Noir le dit, la PackardBell, pour en trouver les spécifications, c'est la croix et la bannière, alors je me demandais aussi ce que des pilotes Intel pouvaient faire sur mon matos.

Quand je l'ai acheté (CNAF n'est plus dutout mon ami), il y a 7 ans, je pense que c'était déjà du quasi rebut sur les présentoirs, et partout où je l'ai cherché (sur le Net), c'est un produit qui ne se fait plus.

D'ailleurs, pour ce qui concerne le matériel, si la carte graphique est aussi chère, c'est car il s'agit d'un modèle Slim (l'intérieur genre boîte de sardines, avec composants à touche-touche, et ports spéciaux) puisque c'est une mini Tour, loin des formats standards.

Je coche un dans la partie haute (le 4ème) et un dans la partie basse (le premier), capture du message #108, nam1962 ? Il ne va pas y avoir conflit ?

Je fais ça --> 1500750676.png en cochant Appliquer, et je Redémarre (en croisant très fort les doigts !) ?

J'en suis toujours à la chasse aux références (drivers et autres ?) pour mon PC, et je viens de trouver ça --> du bon modèle.
