Bonjour à tous,
J'aimerais savoir si installer Ubuntu 16.04 ou 17 est envisageable sur cette machine : https://www.conforama.fr/tv-son-multime … t/p/641221

Je suis passé dans un magasin et ai demandé :
- si on pouvait installer Ubuntu (espèce inconnu du vendeur)
- si on pourrait ramener la bête en cas d'échec d'installation en live : réponse non. Seul W10 serait autorisé . Toute tentative d'installation d'autre système d'exploitation annulerait la garantie.

Ce qui m’intéresse c'est les 12 Go de mémoire vive et le 1 tera du disque dur pour un prix acceptable.
J'ai pensé qu'avec les composants on pourrait peut-être pré supposer les chances de réussite

Le couple processeur A6-7310 + carte graphique Radeon R5 M320 ne semble pas être connu sur le forum. Ce qui est connu, c'est le couple A6-7310 + Radeon R5 M335 (voir ici). Cependant, je suis confiant que Ubuntu 16.04.1 64 bits (ma recette pour faire une LiveUSB équipée de cette version) est capable de gérer cet ordi.

Si tu l'achètes et que tu l'essaies en session live avant de l'installer, poste dans cette même discussion pour qu'on te donne quelques conseils. Si tu n'as pas eu la patience et que tu l'as installé d'emblée, poste ici aussi pour qu'on t'aide si tu as besoin.

J'ai déjà un live en DVD de 16.04 LTS en 64 bits.
Je viens d'essayer de faire un live de 16.04.01 sur un DVD. J'ai vérifié l'intégrité. Pourtant il ne semble pas fonctionner. Je l'ai essayé sur un Lenovo G50-30 : j'ai dvd non pris en charge.

J'ai déjà un live en DVD de 16.04 LTS en 64 bits. Aussi je me demande si cette version pourrait fonctionner sur l' Asus

Démarre ton Lenovo G50-30 sur ce DVD en session Live (Essayer sans installer) et passe cette commande dans un terminal :

uname -a

Colle le résultat obtenu dans ta réponse. On pourra vérifier si c'est bien la version équipée du noyau 4.4. Si c'est le cas, ça conviendrait pour installer dans l'Asus.

C'est parfait. Tu peux installer avec ce DVD. C'est la version de base de Ubuntu 16.04 - sortie en Avril 2016 - qui est sur ce LiveDVD.

Je viens d'acquérir l'ordi.
J'ai des soucis avec W10 qui m'a proposé une Maj qui à duré 10h et que j'ai interrompu à 99 %.. En ré-démarrant il a reconnu mon mot de passe une fois; puis aux ré-démarrage suivant il ne le reconnaît plus. Et pour le réactiver il voudrait une clé usb d’authentification .Quézaco ?
Mais passons pour le moment.

Mais bon ce qui m’intéresse c'est d'installer Ubuntu.
Je viens de démarrer en Live avec 16.04.1 et :
Le wifi fonctionne
Firefox fonctionne
J'ai du son en .mp3 avec rhythmbox
libre office fonctionne
Apparemment cela semble aller. Qu'est-ce que j'ai oublié ?

Mon idée serait de faire une partition et de garder W10 en cas et d'installer Ubuntu sur le solde. Mais j'ai besoin qu'on me tienne la main.

C'est parfait. Je te recommande de réparer ton Windows avant toute tentative d'installation de Ubuntu parce que je crains que si tu tentes de réparer Windows plus tard, tu en viennes à casser Ubuntu. Fais donc les choses dans l'ordre : répare Windows et je te guiderai pour installer Ubuntu en cohabitation ensuite.

Je ne crois pas que W10 soit abimé La Maj a probablement foiré mais le Window installé semblait marcher.
Comment faire pour savoir. Pour réinitialiser mot de passe il demande une clé usb D'authentification . C'est quoi ?

Finalement aux fermetures ( après refus du mot de passe)les Maj se sont installés sur W10. Reste à craquer le mot de passe. Il y aurait des logiciels pour cela mais je n'ai pas les supports sous la main.

J'ai donc installé 16.04 Lts à coté de W10 avec le Live. A noter que je n'ai pas vu l'invite de W10 au démarrage.
Donc pour le moment Ubuntu 16.04 fonctionne. J'ai du Wifi, du son, LibreOffice,Firefox. Le clavier semble marcher.
Voilà ! Je te tiendrai au courant si misère.

Je souhaite ajouter ton modèle ASUS R556YI-XX233T dans la Liste des portables « Asus ». Pour donner un exemple d'installation réussie dans ce modèle, je te prie de démarrer une session sur ton Ubuntu 16.04 fraîchement installé et depuis cette session, faire un Boot-Info en suivant les indications du paragraphe 1.1 Cas où au moins un ubuntu installé sur disque est opérationnel. Tu donneras l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

J'ai un soucis . Pendant mon travail sur un autre ordi la cession s'est interrompu. Il me demande le mot de passe pour la rouvrir et ne le reconnaît pas.
Je suis pourtant certain de l'avoir retenu . Celui de W10 aussi d'ailleurs. Je me demande si je n'aurais pas un virus.

Oui.
L'ordi étant inoccupé je suppose que le temps alloué a été dépassé et donc je me suis retrouvé à devoir retaper mon mot de passe pour ré-accéder à mon compte.

J'ai pu voir que W10 avait bien une invite opérationnelle. A priori les deux systèmes ont bien l'air installé et je te ferai un boot info quand j'aurais pu me débrouiller avec ces mots de passe .
Pour Ubuntu il semblerait qu'il faille aller dans le grub et se mettre en admin. Pour moi c'est comme aller sur la lune.

C'est normal : par défaut il y a effectivement un verrouillage de l'écran ou bout d'un certain temps. Mais ça se règle dans Paramètres > Confidentialité > Verrouillage de l'écran. Moi je me positionne sur "Verrouillage de l'écran désactivé" pour ne pas devoir retaper mon mot de passe. Je t'invite à faire de même et vérifier si ça règle le problème (je veux dire que si tu n'as pas d'autres circonstances où ton mot de passe ne fonctionne pas, tu peux vivre comme ça sans rien changer d'autre que le verrouillage de l'écran désactivé).

Tu as raison. J'aurais dû le faire. Mais j'aurais eu le problème quand même.
Penses tu que je doive faire un autre sujet pour le mot de passe ?

pour le moment j'en suis à :
-aller dans options avancées pour Ubuntu .
- de là j'ai accés au grub qui me donne
un Ubuntu avec 4.04.0-112-generic qui permet d'accéder au recovery mode
un Ubuntu avec 4.04.0-21-generic qui permet d'accéder au recovery mode
Je ne sais lequel je dois prendre

Déjà levé mais probablement pas réveillé : je ne comprends pas ce que tu es en train de faire dans les options avancées de Grub. Déjà, peux-tu expliquer ce qui se passe si tu laisses l'ordi démarrer par défaut sans toucher à rien ? Arrives-tu à l'écran de connexion de session (là où tu dois rentrer ton mot de passe) ? Et là, est-ce que tu peux rentrer ton mot de passe et est-ce que la session s'ouvre (le bureau apparaît) ou quoi ? Raconte parce que je ne suis pas derrière ta chaise alors il faut décrire et détailler.

EDIT : tu t'es planté en notant les noyaux : les deux entrées de Grub que tu vois dans les "Options avancées" de Grub sont pour les noyaux 4.4.0-112 et 4.4.0-21 (tu as écrit 4.04.0-112 et 4.04.0-21)

Oui j'arrive à l'invite de mot de passe pour mon compte.
Je peux taper mon mot . Je le tape, le valide et il me dit mot de passe incorrect veuillez réessayer.
J'ai essayé de mettre tout en majuscule , la première lettre en majuscule etc . Rien n'y fait.

Il faut le faire quand même de patauger avec son mot de passe ! Pour t'éviter de t'enfoncer encore plus dans la vase, je te recommande de faire un Boot-Info depuis la session live comme tu as su le faire pour le Boot-Info du post #12 et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.
Motif de cette demande : pouvoir t'aider à dépanner en cas de grosse cata (le Boot-Info contient des infos précieuses sur le partitionnement). En effet, il va falloir réinstaller et ce n'est pas sans danger.
