Boot Ubuntu de plus de 5 minutes [Résolu]

Bonjour à tous ;

Alors, j'ai mise à jour il y a quelques semaine ma machine sous la 18.04 LTS via le dépôt de mise à jour.

Toute allait bien jusque hier 20h00, avant d'éteindre ma machine, je lance la MAJ habituel... téléchargement de 105 Mo... Redémarrage ? Non, j'avais d'autre truc à faire dans ma soirée, j'ai éteind directement.

En rentrant, je me dis, tien, je vais aller voir mes mail, il était 23h45...

La machine, ne boot pas... elle charge toute un tas de "truc" puis, rien de rien, je ne regrette rien, mais 0 résultat. Je patiente 20 minutes (merci netflix et ces séries débile)... Je relance... idem (second épisode...).

Bon, je me pose devant le PC, démarrage sans échec... nada.... ça bloque...

Démarrage sans échec + terminal, je fais des trucs de sorcier vaudou dans le terminal du type "sudo apt-get install --reinstall".... Nada ....
Démarrage avec Alt+CRT+F2

Et là, je vois ma machine chargé.... très très très très lentement.... Mais, miracle j'arrive à me connecter sur l'environnement habituel, tout fonctionne... Je sauve mes fichier réellement "critique" dessus (je suis chef d'entreprise, masseur bien-être, donc, l'informatique, c'est pas mon truc). Notamment, je bosse avec OpenConcerto, 1 an de devis / facture...

3h00 du matin.... Je fais quelques exercice respiration, 15 minutes de méditation en plein conscience et je vais me coucher.

Pratiquant quand même un peut cette langue.... J'ai l'impression que c'est cette partie de l'invocation qui pose soucis " 5min 54.024s plymouth-quit-wait.service

Je n'ai toutefois pas développé de talent particulier dans la partie "mage informaticien" ayant préféré me concentré sur mes capacités de "guérisseur par imposition des mains et pétrissage". J'aurai besoin de l'aide d'un sorcier de 'L'ubuntu" pour rendre à ma machine, sa vélocité magique de chargement.

Pourrais-tu préciser, car ce n'est pas très clair dans ta phrase, si :
- tu as coupé ton PC brutalement (appui de 5 secondes sur bouton on/off) alors qu'il était en train de faire une mise à jour
ou si
- tu as laissé la mise à jour se faire jusqu'au bout et avec succès. Ensuite quand cela t'a proposé : "Redémarrer / Redémarrer ultérieurement, etc..." tu as simplement éteint le PC "proprement" (c'est à dire en cliquant et choisissant éteindre, ou de façon alternative via : sudo shutdown -P now

Aussi tu peux donner le retour de :

(Si la dernière MàJ n'est pas affichée en entier, rajoute plus de lignes en mettant dans la commande : -n 20 par exemple, ou -n 50 si ce n'est pas encore assez, etc...)

Cela permet de voir quels sont les derniers paquets qui ont été installés et qui pourraient causer le problème (en supposant option 2 que tu n'as pas éteint "sauvagement" au milieu d'une MàJ auquel cas c'est plutôt une "réparation" qu'il faut faire)
Tu peux alors "debugger" en tentant de les enlever (sudo apt purge nom-du-paquet) et refaire la MàJ

Merci.... J'espère que ça va t'aider.

En précision :

J'ai lancer la MAJ.... l'installation c'est faite, puis, il m'a demander redémarrage / redémarrage ultérieur. J'ai sélectionné redémarrage ultérieur, puis, j'ai éteint le PC via le bouton off dans le bureau, je n'ai pas fait un shudown violent. L'extinction a prise un peu plus de temps que d'habitude.... de mémoire 30 secondes (contre 3 ou 4 seconde habituel).

Et donc on voit que tu as fait un truc qui n'est pas décrit dans ton histoire au post 1 :

En effet, ça a donc "tiré" tout un gros tas de paquets à installer, et vraisemblablement la raison de la "grouille" que ça t'a mis... ou alors c'est un truc que tu as fait pour tenter de réparer (pas vraiment une bonne idée) et l'installation est avant, donc il faut que tu augmentes les lignes qu'on en voie plus en rajoutant -n 50 à la commande tail (signifiant : affiche moi les 50 dernières lignes... et si c'est pas encore assez tu augmentes le 50)

C'est un truc que j'ai tenté hier soir, vu que ça m'a lancé "ubuntu" en mode terminal, je me suis dit, tentons de lancer gnome, mais rien ne se passait, je me suis dit, tentons d'installer gnome, mais rien non plus, ensuite, le PC à pus chargé en quoi 5 minutes. Donc, je ne sais pas si c'était une bonne idée, mais je suis passé d'un "terminal inutile" à un bureau.

Donc, aucune idée sur l'utilité de la chose....

En espérant que ça te suffise.... Il n'y a pas tout simplement un moyenne simple de résoudre le problème des 3 "service" qui mettent 10 minutes à charger ?
Je me suis demandé si c'était un soucis matériel, honnêtement, en tant que chef d'entreprise, j'ai besoin d'un PC qui fonctionne donc, le moindre doute sur la fiabilité de celui-ci, je préfère en changer / réparé.


les Windowsiens critiquant GNU/Linux savent très rarement de quoi ils parlent, et les Linuxiens critiquant Windows savent trop souvent de quoi ils parlent.

On voit effectivement la MàJ automatique d'hier soir 21:47 avec un nouveau kernel et du "snap" qui a l'air d'être ce qui pose problème.

Tu as fait ensuite un "autoremove", là c'est pas dramatique, ça a juste supprimé un ancien kernel... puis l'installation de gnome roll

... ça va être dur de revenir en arrière avec tout ça !..

Pour les problèmes hardware, on peut voir ça avec un

dmesg

Et si tu crains un disque qui lâche (c'est arrivé sur deux machine d'amis, et m'est arrivé aussi... heureusement sur un disque de sauvegarde), il va falloir jouer du smarctl !

Je sauvegarde mes données et je réinstalle une version propre (ou une débian, si Openconcerto tourne dessus) ?

Où il y a un truc plus simple à faire ?

Bonjour ; Hier soir, j'ai récupéré un Live CD et réinstaller la machine. Elle fonctionne à nouveau. J'ai récupéré ma compta sur Open Concerto et tous va bien.

En faite ce n'est pas résolus.... une semaine plus tard, même soucis. Je viens de réinstaller et de mettre à jour et c'est encore problématique.

Il y aurait un problème d'"entropie" au démarrage, comprenne qui peut wink  ?

Ça a fonctionné pour moi, j'avais aussi subi ce problème sous Debian testing dernièrement, réglé de la même façon....

Démarrage en 10 minutes... Mon PC à réellement un soucis.
J'ai rien compris au haveged... Trop expérimental pour moi, comme truc. Je me cantonne à être un utilisateur stupide, pas un mec à 180 de Qi capable de débuggé un PC à gravité 1,7 après avoir fait 30 km à marche forcé en combinaison de survie et tous son barda de space marine. Pour para-phrasé Repley dans Alien 2.

Est ce hardware ? Est Soft Ware ? Aucune idée... Mais ça merde.

Le fautif est le kernel 4.15.0-24 qui a rapidement été retiré lorsque le bug a été remonté. Il s'agit d'un bug d’initialisation du générateur de nombres aléatoires. Tu as dû choper la MàJ lorsque le kernel était proposé en update (il ne l'est plus depuis son retrait).

Un noyau corrigé est déjà dans le "proposed" pour ceux qui auraient chopé à la MàJ et auraient le "bug".

Si tu ne veux pas t'aventurer dans le "test" et donc pas activer le "proposed", la solution de contournement, en attendant la correction, est de revenir au noyau précédent : 4.15.0-23

Malgré mes 14 ans de Linux à 100%, je ne connaissais pas le système de génération de nombre aléatoires.
Quand il y a un pépin dans notre beau monde, ça remonte fissa, ça ne lanterne pas des mois.
Maintenant, je sais qu'il faut éviter la 4.15.0.24 !
Ouf, ça va chez moi

Il y a plein de choses au boot qui peuvent avoir besoin de nombre aléatoires. Par exemple si la machine sert un AP Wifi, elle en a besoin pour les stations qui vont se connecter.

Mais en l'occurrence, c'est bien un bug. Le fait que le générateur de nombres aléatoires n'ait pas terminé à s'initialiser ne devrait retarder que les programmes qui en ont réellement besoin, et pas planter tout le boot !..

Bon courage à ceux qui on chopé la -24 ... bien que la réparation soit simple : revenir dans le kernel précédent !
