[ RESOLU ] Probleme installation Asus GL742VW

bonjour,

Je viens d'installer cette version d'ubuntu sur mon pc

ubuntu-18.04.1-desktop-amd64

Elle fonctionnait correctement sur clé usb Live, mais quand je l'installe, sur mon disque dur, ça bugue.

Je suis un débutant Linuxien donc si vous avez une idée d'où ça pourrait venir, je suis preneur.

J'ai eu le même problème avec Fedora, mais l'écran restait noir.


J'ai lancé le mode débogage. CA fonctionne mais avec un affichage très grossier . Mais lorsque je relance, ça bugue et ne repars pas normalement.

Des idées ?  ?

Puisque tu as installé, force l'affichage du grub et passe le parametre nomodeset (voir doc) ou optes pour le recovery mode qui utilise aussi le parametre nomodeset.

T'auras un affichage merdique mais t'en profite pour installer le pilote proprio de ta carte graphique.

Peux-tu ouvrir un terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) et nous donner le retour de cette commande ?

Bonjour,

En plus de la carte nVidia (potentiellement), tu as le port pci 1c.0 [8086:a112] qui n'est pas content. Gros comme une maison que c'est ton module WIFI qui est connecté dessus.

Peux tu faire à partir d'une session live (puisque tu arrives à la démarrer) la commande suivante :

sudo lshw -numeric

Pour la carte graphique, tu peux aussi démarrer une session normale en passant modprobe.blacklist=nouveau dans grub au démarrage :

Démarre ton pc, si tu es en dual-boot, grub apparaît pour choisir l'os, si tu as un seul os, tu appuies sur Echap ou Shift (en permanence) dès que la page permettant d’accéder au bios disparaît. Dès que grub apparaît appuyer sur 'e'
- descendre avec les touches (curseur) jusqu'à tomber sur

Linux          /boot/vmlinuz.efi...

(si tu es en legacy, le nom diffère un peu)

- avec le curseur, le déplacer pour le mettre après splash.
- écrire "modprobe.blacklist=nouveau" juste après splash, avec un espace entre splash et modprobe... et un espace après nouveau. Remarque, il n'y a aucun espace dans modprobe.blacklist=nouveau (quand le clavier est un clavier AZERTY il faut taper ,odprobe:blqcklist=nouvequ pour que s'affiche modprobe.blacklist=nouveau)
- Bien vérifier que c'est modprobe.blacklist=nouveau qui s'affiche
- valider par F10

Après, comme indiqué par lucmars, tu installes le driver nVidia

Là je suis en mode " sans echec " Désolé reflexe de windowsiens qui reviennent.

J'ai mal aux yeux avec un écran tout pourri. hmm

Et je me dis en effet que ça vient de la carte graphique, mais je ne sais pas comment installer de nouveaux pilotes. les liens que je trouvent ne m'aide pas trop. En sashant que ça pique quand même un peu de lire sur cet affichage.

Peux tu mettre tes retours entre balises code STP.

Merci, je viens de le faire ( depuis windows ) mais tout à l'heure c'était pas évident, je ne voyais vraiment pas grand chose.

Comme je le disais, je veux bien essayer d'installer les pilotes Nvidia, mais je n'ai pas trouvé ( encore )  de méthode qui semble fonctionner.

JE vais lancer la commande de Nico et je vois ce que ça donne.

Et nico, tu me conseilles de modifier le Grub, mais je n'ai pas compris exactement ce que je dois faire. Je repars dans les années 80 et je reviens vers vous.

ok, je vais t'expliciter ça.

Pour le pilote nVidia, tu vas dans Gestionnaire de mise à jour, paramètres, Pilotes additionnels. Tu attends qu'il charge les propositions et tu sélectionnes le pilote propriétaire nVidia (ce doit toujours être le 390). Ce ne sera pas lui qui est sélectionné par défaut.

Donne le retour de dmesg et ensuite je t'indiquerai comment le mettre dans grub. (ce n'est pas du chantage, c'est que si tu le mets et qu'ensuite tu fais dmesg, l'erreur et surtout sa récurrence, n'apparaitront plus wink )

Ca, tu as dû le faire à partir du mode recovery, ça ne correspond pas à la photo que tu as prise au post #1.

Occupe toi du driver nVidia, lance une session normale et donne ensuite le retour de dmesg

En effet, la première fois que je suis allé sur les pilotes, je n'avais aucune proposition. Mais la seconde fois j'ai pu choisir le pilote nvidia.

pour les modifications, je tiens juste à préciser que je suis un débutant sur linux mais que j'ai déjà tapé quelques lignes de commande dans ma vie sans être un vrai informaticien ( smile )  Je n'ai pas bien compris ce que tu voulais que je modifie et depuis la console  ? ? ( dont  je ne maitrise pas encore toutes les commandes de base j'avoue )

En tout cas là, ça a l'air de fonctionner à peu prés

Non, ce n'était pas nécessaire :

dmesg

remonte les messages renvoyés par le noyau.

dmesg -lerr

remonte la même chose, mais uniquement les erreurs (lerr=list error)

dmesg -lerr | tail -50

renvoie les 50 dernières erreurs...

Pas grand chose à voir avec les années 80. La ligne de commande est extrêmement puissante. Et garde en mémoire que nous ne sommes ni derrière ton clavier, ni derrière ton écran. C'est très simple de faire un copier-coller d'une ligne de commande....

Quand je disais les années 80 c'était plus à cause de mon affichage que pour la commande.

J'aime bien savoir ce que je fais avec un PC. Et même si je ne m'y connais pas trop, j'aime bien taper une ligne de commande plutôt que de cliquer sans savoir ce que ça fait exactement. Donc le terminal de me pause pas trop de problème. Mais aurais-je le courage d'apprendre à l'utiliser, ça, c'est une autre histoire ;-)
