[Résolu] Lubuntu en basse résolution
Bonjour,
J'ai le problème suivant avec Lubuntu 18.04.1 LST
Quand je lance Lubuntu sans l'installer à partir du fichier ISO de ma clef USB, tous se passe bien,
je suis en résolution 1024x768 et j'ai même 2 résolutions plus basse de disponible 800x600 et 640x480.
Quand je l'installe à partir de cette même clef USB, tout se passe bien également,
pas de message d'erreur, mais je me retrouve une fois installé en résolution 640x480 et aucun autres choix possible.
Il n'y a pas de pilotes propriétaires de disponible.
je ne peux pas créer une nouvelle résolution avec xrandr il me met un message d'erreur.
L'écran est capable de gérer des résolutions plus élevé sans problème 1920x1080 ...
Avant d'installer lubuntu sur ce PC il était sous Windows 7 embedded en 1024x768
J'ai refais l'installation plusieurs fois (en reformatant) et c'est toujours pareil :
en live je suis en 1024x768 et une fois installé en 640x480 sans possibilité de changer.
Le PC : HP t510 Thin client, processeur VIA Eden x2 V4200, Ram 2Go, HD 16Go sata flash, chipset graphique VIA VX900
Ecran : HP ZR2330w
Merci de votre aide car là je n'arrive plus rien à faire.

Pour avoir tous les détails concernant ton matériel, peux-tu lancer un terminal et y taper la commande sudo lshw (L minuscule), et nous donner la réponse complète, s'il te plaît ?
edit : as-tu installé le paquet xserver-xorg-video-openchrome ?

Oui j'ai fais un essai en installant (avant de reformater) xserver-xorg-video-openchrome mais je n'ai pas su ce qu'il fallait faire après car je n'avais pas de fichier xorg.conf en /etc/x11

Pour rendre le résultat plus lisible, tu devrais ajouter les balises CODE au début et à la fin. Ces balises sont sous la forme [code*]réponse du terminal[/code*].
En enlevant les astérisques, ça donne
réponse du terminal
Normalement, après avoir installé le paquet xserver-xorg-video-openchrome, tu n'as pas grand-chose à faire sinon redémarrer ton ordinateur pour que les pilotes soient bien chargés. Fais l'essai, et une fois l'ordi redémarré, lance sudo lshw -C video et recopie la réponse pour vérifier que ta carte graphique dispose bien des pilotes en question (et en mettant toujours la réponse entre balises CODE, donc ).
N'oubliez pas de consulter la documentation pour vous donner un coup de main !

Je viens d'installer xserver-xorg-video-openchrome pas de soucis pendant l'installation, j'ai redémarré et maintenant j'ai un écran noir avec le curseur de fixe en haut à gauche, idem après un 2eme redémarrage

Peux-tu appuyer sur Ctrl + Alt + F2 pour te rendre sur un terminal pur ? Si oui, tu pourras te connecter avec ton identifiant et ton mot de passe. Là, essaie la commande sudo lshw -C video et voir la réponse.
L'idée est de ne plus avoir le matériel non réclamé, d'une part, et d'autre part, des informations sur le pilote utilisé. Ce sera sur une des dernières lignes, configuration: driver=...
Note-le sur un papier pour ensuite le recopier ici.

On va essayer en créant le fichier xorg.conf (qui est supprimé par défaut sur les dernières versions d'Ubuntu, quelle idée... ).
Donc, tu repasses en terminal pur avec Ctrl + Alt + F2
sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Tu recopies dedans ces lignes :
Section "Device"
Driver "openchrome"
EndSection
Pour sauvegarder le fichier, tu fais Ctrl + o (la lettre, pas le chiffre), puis pour valider, tu fais Entrée. Ensuite, pour quitter nano, tu fais Ctrl + x.
Enfin, tu redémarres le système avec sudo reboot

J'ai fais ce que tu m'as dit, puis redémarré avec sudo reboot,
il a redémarré en mode texte (ou mode sans échecs), il m'a demandé mon login puis mon mdp, déroulé quelques lignes de texte, puis il attend que je tape une commande.

Donc tu arrives sur le tty1 avec Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS "tonnomdemachine" tty1 ?
Bon, c'est mieux qu'un écran vide avec le curseur qui clignote, mais ça ne t'avance pas beaucoup pour une utilisation confortable de ta machine !
Que donne sudo lshw -c video, cette fois ? Est-ce qu'il renseigne un pilote dans la configuration ?

edit: a noté que normalement l'hdmi n'est pas encore supporté par le driver (c'est en developpement) donc vga ou dvi (le dvi vient d'etre ajouté, ça devrait fonctionner )
edit2: branche toi également sur le port dvi-i et non dvi-d

Donc tu arrives sur le tty1 avec Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS "tonnomdemachine" tty1 ?
Bon, c'est mieux qu'un écran vide avec le curseur qui clignote, mais ça ne t'avance pas beaucoup pour une utilisation confortable de ta machine !
Que donne sudo lshw -c video, cette fois ? Est-ce qu'il renseigne un pilote dans la configuration ?

Oui c'est exactement ça , ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS le nom de ma machine et tty1
sudo lshw -c video ne donne toujours pas de driver=, même résultat qu'hier à 20h27
S'il faut je peux réinstaller, je n'ai pas de données qui risquent d'être perdues, donc pas de soucis de ce coté là

Bonjour lepetit, merci pour ta réponse, effectivement c'est intéressant, je ferai un essai si les solutions actuel ne marchent pas.
Ce que je ne comprends pas c'est pourquoi cela marche quand je lance Lubuntu sans l'installer, j'ai bien le bon drivers et la haute résolution (1024x768) et des que je l'installe à partir de la même clef USB et du même fichier ISO, il ne trouve plus le driver et me met en 640x480 sans autres choix ?
Il faudrait que j'arrive à mettre le driver qu'il utilise en Live et ça je ne sais pas faire ?

Ça peut être intéressant de voir quel pilote est renseigné dans sudo lshw -c video lorsque tu es sur la session live, en effet
N'oubliez pas de consulter la documentation pour vous donner un coup de main !

je viens de faire sudo lshw -c video en session live et il n'y a pas d'autre driver, c'est exactement la même chose qu'hier à 20h27
Cela ne semble pas être le driver mais quelque chose qui bloque la résolution d'écran en 640x480

Quand je fais sudo lshw -c video en live ou en installé j'ai exactement les mêmes infos et pas de noms de driver.
Il y a t-il un autre moyen de voir si je suis en vesa

Donc il le cherche pour l'utiliser, mais il n'est pas installé et ne le trouve pas (logique). Sauf que si on lui installe en session normale, il ne s'en sert pas comme il faut, le cochon !
Je ne sais pas trop quoi faire de plus ; il y a sans doute des informations à donner en plus dans xorg.conf pour prendre en compte ton pilote comme il faut, mais je ne sais pas exactement quoi. J'ai peur qu'en ajoutant des paramètres, on rende l'affichage foireux. Bon, tu n'en as pas du tout pour l'instant, donc est-ce que c'est pire...

j'avais eu le meme souci sur mon netbook avec via nano
j'avais posé la question

c'est lié au fait que ubuntu ne charge plus les pilotes ne supportant pas kms (kernel mode settings) par defaut

Merci pour ton aide Mornagest, effectivement je ne sais plus trop quoi faire, on pourrait essayer de changer des paramètres, mais autant refaire l'installation ça ira plus vite.
Ce qu'il faudrait c'est qu'une fois réinstallé, je puisse installé VESA (qui marche bien en live en 1024x768) à la place du driver de base et ne pas installer openchrome qui me fait planter l'affichage, si tu sais faire ou si quelqu'un d'autre sait faire, je suis preneur
Merci aussi pour ton aide lepetit, je ne peux pas tester pour le moment ce que tu m'as dit, car mon PC n'a que 2 sorties vidéo, DVI-D et DVI-I et pas de VGA, et évidement je n'ai que des câbles en DVI-D, donc j'irais en acheter un et je testerai.
