(résolu) syntaxe de la commande hp-scan
pour utiliser mon scanner HP la commande hp-scan avec ses options est pratique mais je ne comprends pas l'option -s de destination ( ci-dessous ) ou mieux https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imag … pages/scan
" Scan destinations: -s<dest_list> or --dest=<dest_list>
where <dest_list> is a comma separated list containing one or more of: 'file'*,
'viewer', 'editor', 'pdf', or 'print'. Use only commas between values, no spaces. "
1) comment faut-il interpréter les ' de 'file ' par exemple et le * après 'file'
2) par défaut le scan est enregistré dans /home/mm ( mm = moi-même ) et si j'essaie une commande du genre -s /home/mm/Documents ou -s '/home/mm/Documents' le scan va toujours dans le dossier par défaut . Une idée de la bonne syntaxe ?

salut,
hp-scan -s file,viewer,editor,pdf,print ...
hp-scan -s editor -o /tmp/tt.png
par exemple editor renvoie à gimp, dès que hp-scan a effectué son travail.
-o implique automatiquement -s file
donc
hp-scan -s editor,file -o /tmp/tt.png
enregistre sous /tmp/tt.png et transmet l'image à gimp

Si l'imprimante est compatible,
pour le multiple scan en automatique de plusieurs documents ou bloc de feuilles à scanner; (aspiration des feuilles par le clapet supérieur ou latéral)
--adf Automatic Document Feeder
hp-scan --adf -m color -s pdf,file -o /tmp/total-pages.pdf
-m lineart ; semble correspondre au mode texte de Simple Scan

bonjour ;
merci pour ces précisions qui , contrairement à ce que j'essayais d'obtenir avec la seule option -s , m'indique que -o est nécessaire pour définir le dossier de destination + le nom du fichier .
Mais alors à quoi sert "file" dans -s 'file' si ça n'est pas la destination envisagée soit /xxx.../le nom du fichier ?

Scan area:
-a<tlx>,<tly>,<brx>,<bry> or --area=<tlx>,<tly>,<brx>,<bry> Coordinates are
relative to the upper left corner of the scan area. Units for tlx, tly, brx, and
bry are specified by -t/--units (default is 'mm'). Use only commas between values,
no spaces.
Scan box:
--box=<tlx>,<tly>,<width>,<height> tlx and tly coordinates are relative to the
upper left corner of the scan area. Units for tlx, tly, width, and height are
specified by -t/--units (default is 'mm'). Use only commas between values, no

Top left x of the scan area:
--tlx=<tlx> Coordinates are relative to the upper left corner of the scan area.

que -s cible une ou plusieurs applications destinataires.
Donc file serait... le gestionnaire de fiichiers.
