Carte son non reconnue ou partiellement reconnue
Bonjour,
J'utilise Ubuntu 18.04.2LTS sur deux ordinateurs : l'un à usage domestique et l'autre en tant que PC portable.
Je dispose d'une carte son Focusrite 18i8 qui fonctionnait très bien auparavant.
Je précise que suite à un déménagement, celle-ci a été stockée dans son carton d'origine et qu'entre temps j'ai fait une mise à niveau d'Ubuntu 16.04LTS à la version 18.04.02LTS. Ce n'est finalement que récemment que j'utilise de nouveau cette carte son.
Je l'ai branchée une première fois la semaine dernière, et elle a été reconnue correctement.
Le lendemain, après avoir rebooter l'équipement sans avoir fait de mise à jour particulière, elle ne l'était plus. ???
Bref, lorsque je la branche sur mon PC domestique, les sorties audio du périphérique sont reconnues et fonctionnent à l'exception d'une des deux sorties casque.
Lorsque je la branche sur mon PC portable, les entrées sont reconnues mais pas les sorties, desquelles aucun signal ne sort (ni L/R des monitor outputs, ni des deux sorties casque).
Il y a donc à ce niveau, une réponse différente des machines pour un même matériel.
J'ai par ailleurs fait des tests avec une autre O.S. (Windows 7), qui après installation des drivers via le site Focusrite reconnaît l'ensemble des sorties de la carte sans difficultés.
Ça m’ennuie pas mal, car je suis utilisateur exclusif de Linux ... et j'aimerai vraiment faire fonctionner de nouveau ma carte son avec Ubuntu.
Comment procéder ? Par quoi commencer ?
Y a t'il des retours de commande à partager ici pour diagnostiquer la cause du problème et le comportement différent de mes deux PC ?

Je reviens ici car j'ai trouvé entre temps le moyen d'activer la sortie casque 2 sur le PC domestique (celui qui reconnaît entrées et sorties de la carte son).
En tapant Alsamixer dans un terminal, je me suis rendu compte que les sorties du casque 2 étaient mutées ("MM"). En opérant la commande "M", celles-ci on pu être activées.
Je suis donc en mesure de dire qu'avec ce PC là, la carte son fonctionne normalement !
Par contre, le problème majeur qu'il me reste concerne le PC portable qui lui ne reconnaît pas du tout les sorties de la carte.
En effet, dans Alsamixer, elle apparaît, mais pas dans la version graphique Paramètre/Son/Sélectionner un périphérique pour la sortie son.
Par conséquent, lorsque je joue un son, le signal est envoyé dans les enceintes internes du PC et non dans l'interface audio ...
Quelqu'un a-t'il une solution ?

Bonjour,
Je viens de comparer les deux retours de commande "lsusb -v", et ne trouve aucune différence significative entre les deux.
J'en déduis qu'il n'y a donc pas de problème au niveau du port usb.
Comment savoir s'il y a un conflit entre Jack, Alsamixer ou d'autres logiciels d'architecture sonore ?
Comment éventuellement les ré-installer ?

Bonjour,
Je viens d'avoir un flash sur mes deux ordinateurs ...
Sur le PC portable (celui qui ne reconnaît plus les sorties audio de ma carte son), j'ai dû à un moment installer Skype. Je l'ai depuis désinstallé via des lignes de commandes que j'avais trouvées sur le net. Et je crois, que c'est depuis ce moment là, que j'ai rencontré des difficultés avec mon PC. Je pense que j'ai dû en désinstallant le logiciel, modifier des éléments importants de l'O.S.
