vlc ecran noir « résolu »
bonjour
vlc 2.2.2 n affiche plus la video......je suis sous ubuntu 16.04 lts et je n ai pas trouve de reponse dans le forum....

Salut doublegom
Peux-tu préciser? Que cherches tu à lire comme vidéo
-un DVD?
-un flux?
Peux-tu lancer ton VLC en ligne de commande?
1. Ouvrir un terminal, y taper vlc et un espace.
2. Glisser l'icône de la video que tu veux lire, le chemin du fichier vidéo s'affiche alors.
3. Finir par "Entrée"
Peux-tu poster le retour de la commande (entre balises code)?
C'est à dire ce qui s'affiche dans le terminal.
Si jamais l'interface graphique de vlc s'est lancé, tu dois le fermer ou le déplacer pour retrouver ton terminal 
.

Si GNU/Linux ne répond plus, le redémarrer proprement avec la combinaison de touches:

en fait vlc reste noir pour tous fichiers meme un dvd....je peux l ouvrir en ligne de commande et y glisser une icone de video ....j obtiens

Merci.
Tu as bien lu comment lire_un_dvd sur Ubuntu?
Le problème est-il apparu suite à une mise à jour?
Essaye de réinstaller vlc.
Si ça ne suffit pas, regarde d'abord ici, et teste les solutions proposées.
[EDIT] Ceci correspond encore mieux à ton problème.

( vdpau, ça a rapport avec l'accélération graphique )
Si ces réglages de préférence dans vlc n'améliore pas la situation il faudra sans doute regarder quelle carte graphique tu utilises et si des pilotes adéquats sont installés.
Mais tu as l'air de suggérer que cela avait fonctionné…

tout fonctionnait tres bien jusqu il y a quelques jours.....surement suite a une mise a jour automatique ....

tout semble refonctionner en changeant les preferences......
outils > préférences > vidéo > sortie > indiquer X11 (XCB) au lieu de "automatique".

Bonne nouvelle !
Si tu peux ajouter « résolu » au titre de ton premier post ( via modifier ) ça pourra servir à d'autres ;-)
À l'avenir renseigne-toi ( doc, forum ) à propos de ta CG NVIDIA Corporation G86M [Quadro NVS 135M] et de la question des pilotes pour cette carte, je dirais à vue de pif que le pépin est par là.
