LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT set
Je cherche depuis quelques temps à avoir l'accélération graphique avec ma
Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
et je suis à 1400FPS et lorsque je rentre un glxinfo, il me sort un joli : "No LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT set"
en farfouillant dans les forums, j'ai trouvé qu'en tapant "unset LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT" je réussisais (ho joie!) à activer "correctement" l'accélération graphique, en atteignant 2500FPS
sauf que dans un autre shell, je retrouve toujours la même erreur!
je peux donc régler temporairement mon problème, mais très temporairement!!

Salut,
J'avais un problème similaire avec une ati radeon HD 3450. En farfouillant comme toi, je suis tombé sur ce site :

En gros cela veut dire que si tu lances un gnome terminal (-> processus fils de compiz) alors LIBG_ALWAYS_INDIRECT est mis à vrai, car compiz a besoin de cette condition, et donc un glxinfo lancé dans ce terminal retournera "No" pour le direct rendering. En revanche, si tu passes par un xterm classique (essaie Alt+F2 puis lance la commande xterm) dans lequel tu fais le même glxinfo, là le direct rendering aura pour valeur "Yes" (car il n'est pas lancé par compiz).
Je cherche toujours un moyen de contourner ce LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT de façon permanente.
