[RESOLU] Changement de carte graphique = résolution bloquée

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai changé récemment de carte graphique pour prendre une CG AMD RX 5500 XT.
Le problème qui se présente est que ma résolution est bloquée à 1024*768.

Petite recherche sur le net, je suis apparemment pas le seul et je tente l'installation des pilotes propriétaires AMD sauf que ces derniers ne sont apparemment pas compatible avec les kernels > 4.15 (la faute à DKMS qui n'a pas été compilé pour, un truc du genre).

Bref, je continue de me renseigner et AMD aurait fait des commits dans la version 5 du kernel.
Après une installation du dernier kernel via Ukuu, redémarrage et ...

Bon, pourquoi pas. Je vérifie dans le bios, je suis bien en mode CMS et UEFI / Legacy (ou équivalent).

Il est également conseillée de faire un test avec un live-USB d'Ubuntu.
Je tente la version 19.10 : résolution native dans l'écran d'accueil.
Je demande à essayer le système : plantage.

A ce moment, je suis conforté dans l'idée que le kernel de la version 19.10 est adapté à ma carte.

Par acquis de conscience, je tente avec un live-USB de la version 18.04.3 : résolution native dans l'écran d'accueil et plantage après avoir demandé d'essayer le système.

A ce moment, je me dis que finalement, c'est pas mon OS qui est défaillant et en regardant plus attentivement dans le bios, je démarrais mes disques dés le début en mode UEFI. Dans le doute, je retire les options "CMS" et "UEFI / Legacy" pour mettre que "UEFI", avec le Secure Boot désactivé.
Voyant aucun changement dans le démarrage, une seule chose me vient : OSEF des options que j'avais mis dés le début ...

Bref ... du coup, comment je peux faire pour avoir autre chose que du 1024*768 ?

C'est pour cette raison que j'ai installé la v5.5 via Ukuu (et tenté la v5.5.1), pour obtenir le message

Le secure boot est bien désactivé et sur "standard"

Comme il semble s'agir d'un modèle de carte graphique récent, essaye la version 20.04 en 64 bits. Cette image contient, entre autres, un noyau 5.5.

Je suis en train de télécharger la version 20 d'Ubuntu.
Le créateur de disque de démarrage suffit pour fait la clé USB ou j'ai besoin d'un outil spécifique ?

Sinon, si ça me donne le même comportement que mes essais avec les live-USB 18.04.3 et 19.10, ça devrait planter quand je ferais "Essayer Ubuntu" ...

Et j'ai la RX 5500 XT 8GB

Alors, avec l'option "Try Ubuntu", j'ai les mentions "AMD-Vi Completion wait loop timeout" et des trucs relatives à IOMMU. Et ça reste figé sur ça.

Avec "Try Ubuntu (safe graphics)", je charge sur le bureau mais j'ai pas l'air d'être en résolution native.

EDIT 16h37 :
Avec l'option "Safe graphics", j'ai les mêmes lignes que le premier choix + une ligne avec "drm-amdgpu-init".

A ce moment là, le noyau chargé était le 5.4.0.9-generic et en 1024*768.

Certes, j'ai la résolution que je demandais mais ça reste quand même une méthode "dégueulasse" : pas de possibilité de changer la résolution et j'ai pas la certitude d'utiliser réellement la carte graphique (un peu comme les pilotes vidéo de base de Windows, ça fait le boulot mais faut pas trop en demander ...).

Et puis même, je voudrais bien comprendre pourquoi j'ai ce problème.

Bon, il se trouve qu'en installant la version 5.5.2 du kernel, ça passe.
Par contre, ça déconnait avant, je sais pas ce qui a changé entre temps ...
