[Résolu] Win et Ubuntu sur deux disques dur, Grub2 ne demarre pas

Bonjour à tous!

J'étais motivé à enfin me mettre à Linux parce que bon, tout bon dev qui se respecte est sur cet OS et a peine installé il me fait déjà la misère! Quel enfer...

J'ai trois DD sur mon PC:

   Un disque dur de stokage de data
   Un SSD avec Windows 10
   Un nouveau SSD sur lequel je viens d'installer Linux

J'aimerais avoir Grub au démarrage pour éviter de passer par le Bios chaque fois que je veut changer d'OS. Or ce dernier refuse de démarrer. J'ai essayé

os-prober

qui renvois rien.

grub-install
update-grub

Mais rien ne change. Que je lance le disque Ubuntu ou le disque Windows, l'OS en question démarre sans me demander quel OS je veut.

Avant que je décide de bruler mon SSD Ubuntu merci de m'aider .

Nous dire qu'une commande n'a rien renvoyé n'est pas une réponse : que toi tu n'ais pas pu en déduire quelque-chose oui certainement et c'est normal... mais nous aussi on voudrait bien voir ce que tu as vu...
Enfin bref... Je pense aussi qu'un boot-info serait le bienvenu

Il faut juste indiquer au BIOS d'amorcer sur le disque où grub est installé

Il faut juste indiquer au BIOS d'amorcer sur le disque où grub est installé

C'est sûr... Encore faut-il savoir où est le GRUB et pourquoi os-prober n'a pas détecté le windows...
Mais c'est bien pour ça que je demande le boot-info

En faisant simple, je suppose qu'a l'installation, Grub s'est positionné sur le disque ubuntu

En théorie oui surtout si le disque dur était seul... Mais si jamais le disque Linux était placé en second lors de l'installation il est prudent de se méfier car par expérience GRUB a tendance à se coller sur le premier disque quoi qu'il y ait dessus...

Enfin là on cause dans le vide avec que des suppositions tant que le demandeur ne nous aura pas répondu... D'autant plus que de ce que je comprends le Linux boot bien aussi...

Heu !? Une double lecture du boot-info serait la bienvenue car ce que je comprends me semble tellement bancale...
Le Linux est installé en gpt avec la partition efi qui va bien pendant que le windows est installé en mode MS-DOS... Tu m'étonnes que dans ces conditions Linux ne peut pas voir windows...

Alors j’ai tenter de faire ce que vous me disiez. Étant novice c’est très obscur pour moi.
J’ai changer les drapeaux comme demander. J’ai changé le boot en legacy et j’ai fait les étapes de  Boot repair comme dans le lien donné.
Ça marchais dans le sens où Grub se lançais. Mais il n’affichais que Ubuntu. J’ai donc essayé de relancer boot repair en installant Grub sur le DD Windows aussi. Et la ... catastrophe. Aucun OS ne peut booter, quelque soit le DD que je boot il lance l’ invite de commande de grub.
J’ai donc lancé Ubuntu sur un live CD pour vous faire un boot-info: paste.ubuntu.com/p/MBCHJqqx9f/
Décidément Linux ne m’aime pas du tout.

J’ai donc essayé de relancer boot repair en installant Grub sur le DD Windows aussi.

Même pour quelqu'un qui ne maîtrise pas tu aurais bien dû te douter que ce n'était pas une bonne idée... Je n'ai pas vu le nouveau boot-info mais faut réinstaller GRUB au bon endroit...

Je te signale que tu as de nouveau rebooté en mode EFI

Ce n'est pas bon pour windows ni pour ubuntu qu'on a transformé en LEGACY en lui enlevant la partition de boot EFI

Il faut donc que tu maîtrises bien pour booter uniquement en mode LEGACY,
Lorsque tu seras sur ubuntu, tu feras la commande suivante

sudo os-prober

Si windows est détecté, tu feras la commande suivante

sudo update-grub

au boot d'après, tu pourras choisir
Si windows n'est pas détecté, tu refais un boot-info

Dans le programme ils disaient qu’il était conseiller de sélectionner tous les OS alors non je ne pensais pas que c’était une mauvaise idée. La communauté est toujours aussi négative envers les nouveaux ? Je fais de mon mieux!

Quel que soit le disque que le bios sélectionne en premier cela doit booter

Ca boot, mais sur l’invite de commande Grub. Ça me dit « Minimal Bash-like Line editing is supported... etc
J’ai de nouveau boot en EFI pour faire un lUbuntu sur usb pour pouvoir debugger mon ordi mais actuellement j’ai plus accès à rien si ce n’est le Ubuntu de l’usb. Comme c’est mon outil de travail je suis bien emmerdé si c’est pas réparer lundi... Comment faire pour debugger ça ?

Car le plantage n'aiguille sur rien du tout

Sinon, refais une installation  quasiment toute neuve avec le choix "autre chose" en ne demandant pas le formatage  de la partition  par la méthode 1

Je pense qu'il ne faut pas trop t'inquiéter.
Ton Windows sur /dev/sdb1 et /dev/sdb2 est toujours là. Mais il ne peut plus démarrer pour le moment car dans le secteur de boot de tes trois disque, boot-repair lors de tes manips a installé Grub première partie. Donc tu ne peux plus avoir un démarrage directe sur ton Windows, même en démarrant la machine sur le disque /dev/sdb où est ton Windows.

Si tu veux te rassurer, avec boot-repair en passant par les "Options avancées" tu peux restaurer un mbr generic compatible Windows sur le disque /dev/sdb.
Voila ce qu'indique le boot info pour le secteur de boot du disque /dev/sdb où est ton Windows;

 => Grub2 (v2.00) is installed in the MBR of /dev/sdb and looks at sector 1 of 
    the same hard drive for core.img. core.img is at this location and looks 
    for /boot/grub. It also embeds following components:
    
    modules
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
    fshelp ext2 part_gpt biosdisk search_fs_uuid
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
    
    config script
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ce qui fait que même si tu démarres la machine sur ce disque, le système va vouloir démarrer Ubuntu.

Oui c'était bien cette action.

Le plus simple est une réinstallation en conservant /home   ( Methode 1 décrite https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/reinstallation_ubuntu car il n'est pas évident de trouver la cause de ce problème.
    "ERREURS DE SYNTAXE dans le fichier de configuration de grub" alors qu'on n'y a pas touché.
Vérifie bien que cela se fait en mode légacy

Attention.
Si tu démarres encore ta session live en mode UEFI.
Boot-Repair ne va pas pouvoir réinstaller grub-pc correctement, il va vouloir réinstaller un grub-efi.

Question pour la réinstallation de Ubuntu.

Est-ce une installation fraîche, ou tu as déjà paramétré pas mal de choses, et stocké des données que tu ne veux pas perdre?., 

Car dans le cas d'une installe fraîche, que tu prévois de refaire. Je conseille en session live avec Gparted avant de réinstaller, de changer le type de table de partition GPT,  Qui sur un SSD de 240 Go ne se justifie que pour installer en mode UEFI. Donc changer pour une table de partition MSDos. Çà facilite l'installation de Ubuntu en mode Bios_Legacy.

Et surtout bien vérifier que tu lances tes sessions live en mode Bios_Legacy.
