Si tu as des soucis au moment de la copie sur disque dur externe, tu passeras la commande : 

sudo nautilus

comme c'est indiqué à Étape 6 : copier vos fichiers à sauvegarder

Bon c'est un échec...
L'installation s'est bien passé, j'ai bien récupéré et sauver mes données avant, mais impossible de booter sur ubuntu.
EasyUEFI ne détecte pas ma partition comme bootable:

Donc je ne vois plus ce que je peux faire!


Modération : merci d'utiliser des images de petite taille (300x300) ou des miniatures pointant sur ces images (Des hébergeurs comme Toile Libre ou TDCT'Pix le permettent).

Peux-tu donner tout de même le rapport boot-info ? On va te trouver une solution, d'une manière ou d'une autre. Mais pour ça, il faut qu'on voie ta dernière configuration.

Alors, effectivement ubuntu est là dans le menu de démarrage, la 1ère fois, il m'a remis une erreur du style "not able to read block adress..." (le même genre que j'avais déjà vu au tout début). Je reboote et je je choisis ubuntu en mode avancé dans le grub et là ça marche!
Mais je suis parti faire autre chose un moment et à mon retour il refaisait la liste des milliers d'erreurs comme j'avais eu dans mon post #13... Obligé de l'interrompre. Nouveau redémarrage, je trouve encore ubuntu dans le menu mais en le choisissant, le grub me propose juste une ligne de commandes. La seule que je sais utiliser étant reboot, je n'arrive à rien!
Me voilà revenu au point de départ...

Désolé mais là je jette l'éponge. Je ne sais pas ce qu'il faudrait faire ni même s'il y a quelque chose à faire : il a peut-être quelque chose qui cloche dans ton PC comme le suppose ikewdu dans le post #14.

Merci quand même! J'avoue c'est incompréhensible. J'ai accès de manière aléatoire à Ubuntu (1 fois sur 4 ou 5 peut être) et quand j'y suis, je ne peux pour ainsi dire rien faire. Lors de ma dernière connexion, je n'ai même pas pu ouvrir un terminal et j'ai du l'éteindre de manière brutale...

J'allais te proposer de substituer les fichiers de grub à ceux de Windows, mais vu ce que tu annonces dans tes derniers messages, je doute que ça suffise. Comme malbo, je ne sais plus quoi te proposer.

Vérifie peut-être déjà l'intégrité de ton disque depuis Windows, puis vois si une mise à jour du bios existe chez Asus... Mais sans conviction.

ça empire... Ce matin, windows ne détecte plus mon disque dur HDD! Celui où j'avais mes données et ma partition ext4 avec ubuntu. Il n'apparaît pas dans Gestion des disques.

Après mise à jour du bios, mon disque est revenu. Mais pas plus de succès pour ubuntu. Il n'est pas mort, on va dire que l'agonie se poursuit

Ikewdu, je ne peux plus aller sous ubuntu, la dernière fois que j'ai pu y aller, je n'ai pas réussi à ouvrir un terminal!


Pensez-vous qu'un formatage complet des deux disques avec réinstallation de windows sur l'un et d'ubuntu sur l'autre puisse être une solution? C'est radical mais si même ça ne fonctionne pas, autant mettre un grand coup de marteau dedans dès maintenant!

Vous en pensez quoi de la solution radicale de formatage et réinstallation totale? Il y a une chance que ce soit inutile vu les problèmes que je me traine? Ou c'est garanti 100% s'il n'y a pas de pb matériel?

Je be suis pas nécessairement compétent mais ne serait-il pas possible d'utiliser efibootmgr pour modifier l'ordre de boot.
Si le résultat était positif ça éviterait pas mal de boulot. L'option -o de efibootmgr est donnée comme

 -o | --bootorder XXXX,YYYY,ZZZZ
              Explicitly set BootOrder (hex).  Any value from  0  to  FFFF  is
              accepted so long as it corresponds to an existing Boot#### vari‐
              able, and zero padding is not required.

Ça pourrait se faire depuis la clé d'installation d'Ubuntu.

Tu penses à mettre ubuntu en 1er dans l'ordre de boot? J'ai déjà essayé mais ça ne change rien. Enfin, j'ai essayé (plusieurs fois!) depuis le bios ou depuis easyUEFI dans Windows mais pas avec efibootmgr. Je ne crois pas que ça change quelque chose avec efibootmgr. Le mal est profond, et je ne crois pas à une solution aussi simple.

À mon sens, il vaut mieux utiliser les outils linux quand on est sur un système linux.
À partir de la clé usb contenant ubuntu, il faudrait faire

sudo efibootmgr -o 0001, 0000,0002

si le Boot-info du #32 sort bien d'une session live.
Si  après avoir enlevé la clé usb, au redémarrage,  on tombe bien sur ubuntu la commande

sudo update-grub

ajoutera, si pas présent, l'accès à Windows

Salut,

Tout ça a déjà été tenté en début de sujet.... La Nvram ne conserve pas la modification....

Moi, je ne peux que proposer le détournement de bootmgr vers Linux via la commande bcdedit. Tout ça à condition que ce Linux installé soit viable, ce qui n'est pas évident au vu des informations précédentes. Je n'aime pas trop ce bricolage, mais je ne vois pas d'autre alternative, si la situation du PC est saine.

Perso, je ferais déjà depuis Windows, puisqu'il fonctionne, une analyse du disque avec crystaldiskinfo et je la proposerais sur un forum Windows pour être sûr que le disque est clair. Après, si le disque est OK,  je réinstallerais à nouveau Ubuntu, vu que le BIOS a été mis à jour entre temps. Et si le souci venait à perdurer, je tenterais seulement à la fin un détournement de bootmgr.

Voila les nouveautés du jour (hier compris):
Hier, après avoir booté depuis la clé, j'ai pu rebooter sur ubuntu installé sur le HDD et même travaillé presque 2h dessus. J'ai réinstallé ocaml et pu faire tourner un de mes programmes... jusqu'à ce que l'écran freeze et m'oblige à faire un redémarrage brutal avec windows comme seule option.
Aujourd'hui, j'ai fait ce que tu proposais thom83, et j'ai réussi à booter 2 fois de suite sur ubuntu (sans compter la première fois depuis la clé) ce qui ne m'était pas arrivé depuis un moment. Bon, j'ai poussé un petit cri de joie/surprise après la 2ème fois, je suis parti pisser, et au retour j'ai essayé d'ouvrir un terminal: écran noir, et de nouveau impossible de booter normalement sur ubuntu.
Ce qui m'amène à ça:
Hypothèse1: J'arrive à booter sur ubuntu après avoir booté en live sur la clé. Pas de contre exemple jusque là...
Hypothèse2: J'arrive à booter sur ubuntu après avoir redémarré proprement depuis une session ubuntu (live ou non).
Hypothèse 3: C'est donc le redémarrage brutal et forcé en appuyant longtemps sur le bouton marche/arrêt qui détraque le boot. C'est malheureusement une situation que je n'arrive pas à éviter!

Question1 : Pourquoi je n'arrive pas à rebooter sur ubuntu depuis windows lorsque je redémarre proprement? Je vais tester de repasser par une session ubuntu, redémarrer proprement sur windows et redémarrer proprement sur ubuntu...
Question 2: Quand je dis que je n'arrive pas à booter sur ubuntu, c'est parce que j'arrive ici et en réalité je ne sais ce que je peux faire à part reboot:

Question 3: Vous ne m'avez pas répondu sur mon idée de tout formater et tout réinstaller. C'est peut être une question bête mais c'est une option que je considère de plus en plus sérieusement, d'autant qu'elle me permettrait peut être de faire revenir le son par la même occasion. Mais peut être ne l'envisagez vous pas parce que ça ne résoudrait pas le problème??

Je vais faire l'analyse crystaldiskinfo et chercher des experts windows pour m'aider de ce côté là, je vous tiens au courant quand j'ai des infos de ce côté là...

Question 1 : Pas d'explication. Si l'hibernation de ws était active, je sauterais là-dessus, mais ce n'est pas le cas.
Question 2.  Visiblement, grub ne trouve pas ton Linux. La piste du disque malade se confirme.
Question 3.  Je suis réticent à te dire de formater tant que ton Windows fonctionne. Pas sûr qu'il en soit ainsi après.

Aujourd'hui impossible de booter sur ubuntu, même après le live ou après le live et windows, ce qui réfute mes 3 hypothèses d'un coup!
En cas de diagnostic confirmé sur le disque dur, est ce que ça vaut le coup de le changer et garder le pc à votre avis ou vaut-il mieux envisager de racheter un pc neuf?

À mon avis un changement de disque devrait être suffisant. Celui-ci n'est qu'une partie de l'ordinateur... Mais voyons d'abord s'il n'y a pas moyen de s'en sortir.

Quand tu éteins l'ordinateur «à l'arrache» (bouton d'alimentation pressé en continu), c'est parce que l'ensemble de touches Ctrl, Alt et suppr pressé en même temps ne donne rien ? Ou tu ne connais pas ce truc ?
Autre question, quand tu allumes l'ordinateur, as-tu le menu de grub ou seulement celui de windows ?
Je suppose que le menu de grub existe encore et qu'il renvoie à ce qui est montré dans une image au #47, c-à-d

Si c'est bien le cas, tu peux essayer d'appliquer la réparation proposée sur ce lien

au paragraphe 7.2 après la ligne «A partir de grub> normal». Il est peut-être utile de copier ou d'imprimer les manœuvres à effectuer avant de lancer le démarrage litigieux car pas encore d'accès à internet pendant la phase de démarrage.

Une fois la session démarrée avec succès, ne pas oublier d'appliquer la réparation détaillée au paragraphe 7.1.2 (le 1er cadre).
Pour permettre de voir exactement ce qui se passe (en cas d'erreur ultérieure), ça serait bien que tu sélectionnes tout ce qui est sur le terminal entre le «sudo fdisk» et la suite de «sudo grub-install».

Je suppose que tu sais qu'il suffit de sélectionner à la souris l'ensemble du texte à copier et de mettre le pointeur de la souris à l'emplacement choisi pour le mettre d'un simple clic sur le bouton central.
Si je ne suis pas assez clair, y a qu'à demander des précisions.
