[Résolu] Problème de démarrage suite à installation de ubuntu 20.04

Bonjour à tous!

Il y a peu de temps je me suis décidé à passer de la version 18.04 à la 20.04.

J'ai un PC asus intel core I7 avec 8Go de RAM et un disque dur d'1 to SSD.

Pour procéder à l'installation, j'ai d'abord sauvegardé tout le contenu de mon pc sur un disque dur. Puis j'ai créé une clé usb bootable pour passer à la version 20.04 et j'ai tout réécrasé pour passer à la nouvelle version.  Ceci m'a permis de passer à une installation avec contenu du pc crypté, ce qui n'était pas le cas avant.
Enfin, j'ai recopié le contenu de mon disque dur sur la nouvelle version du PC.

Depuis, j'ai un soucis lors du démarrage :
lors du lancement, le système ne se lance pas vraiment. En fait  l'écran reste bloqué sur le logo Asus. Et il ne se passe rien, quel que soit le temps que j'attends.

Je suis donc obligé d'appuyer de force sur la touche "power" du pc pour l'éteindre de force.
Puis quand je redémarre le logo passe et j'aboutis à un menu avec :
*ubuntu
*advanced options for ubuntu
*uefi firmware settings

Si je sélectionne la première option (ce qui me semble être le démarrage normal) alors le pc se lance normalement.
Je peux alors l'éteindre normalement.

Mais la fois suivante il reste à nouveau bloqué sur le logo Asus.
En gros il ne se lance correctement qu'une fois sur deux puisqu'il faut que je l'aie éteint de force pour pouvoir accéder au menu de sélection du démarrage et qu'il puisse se lancer correctement.

J'ai fait un boot repair sans procéder aux modifications et voici l'url du rapport.

Ca fait bien plus de 10 ans que je suis sur Ubuntu et je n'ai jamais eu un tel problème...

Donne la version du BIOS/UEFI et le modèle précis de la carte-mère.

Je crois comprendre qu'il s'agit d'une installation propre de la version 20.04. Alors pourquoi tu nous embrouilles en écrivant : "passage de ubuntu 18.04 à 20.04" ? Quand on lit ça, on pense que tu as fait une mise à niveau de 18.04 vers 20.04.

EDIT : je te prie de donner le retour complet (*) de cette commande : 

cat /etc/default/grub

Ainsi que le retour complet (*) de cette autre commande : 

cat /boot/grub/grub.cfg

Pour les infos du bios j'ai récupéré ça:

Pour la carte mère j'ai récupéré : 1.0 / UX305UA (ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.)

J'espère que ce sont bien ces infos que tu attendais.

Je ne suis pas certain que ça puisse résoudre ton problème mais je te suggère de faire la manip suivante :
1) ouverture avec gedit du fichier /etc/default/grub avec pouvoir administrateur. Pour ce faire, passe la commande suivante (n'essaie même pas de la taper : utilise le copier-coller): 

gedit admin:///etc/default/grub

2) supprimer le caractère # en tête de cette ligne : 

#GRUB_TERMINAL=console

afin qu'elle devienne : 

GRUB_TERMINAL=console

3) enregistrer dans gedit et quitter gedit
4) réaliser la mise à jour de Grub en passant cette commande : 

sudo update-grub

@malbo: je ne pense pas que ce soit le grub qui soit en faute ici. Si il reste bloqué sur le logo Asus, c'est que Grub ne charge pas. Je peux me tromper mais c'est ce que je pense. Si grub avait un problème, il te mettrait en mode console d'urgence.

Bonjour,

J'ai finalement mis à jour mon Bios après avoir enfin trouvé comment faire. Je suis passé par une clé USB sous dos...
Ca a totalement résolu le problème!
Depuis le PC démarre et s'éteint normalement à tous les coups.
@Vobul et Malbo : merci beaucoup pour votre aide rapide et efficace. Au passage j'ai appris qu'on pouvait mettre à jour un Bios en plus. smile

J'ai un autre soucis qui s'est déclaré juste deux jours avant que je poste le message pour le problème au démarrage. Je pensais que ça devait probablement être lié au problème du démarrage, mais en fait non. Le Bluetooth passe de on à off tout seul tout le temps. Du coup je ne peux plus rien y connecter. Et que bouton des paramètres bluetooth dans les réglages ubuntu soit sur "on" ou "off" ça n'y change rien. Le bluetooth s'allume et s'éteint tout seul toutes les deux secondes en permanence.
Je n'ai rien trouvé de similaire sur le forum. Faut-il que je poste un message dans une nouvelle discussion?
En y réfléchissant je me dis que oui ne serait-ce que pour la possibilité des autres membres du forum de trouver la solution s'ils rencontrent le même soucis.

En tout cas merci encore pour votre efficacité. Ca me fait encore une raison de plus de préferer ubuntu!
