(RESOLU) Disque dur qui ne monte plus
Bonjour à tous,
Je me suis aperçue il y a trois jours que mon disque dur externe ne se montait plus. Évidement, beaucoup de fichiers importants sur ce disque dur, sinon, ce n'est pas drôle.
Donc, je suis sur une bécane Asus UX410U, portable +/- récent, de qualité.
Le disque dur est un WD 1 T.
Récemment, j'ai récupéré ce PC de mon mari, donc, je suis installée en Ubuntu 20.10, mis à jour et sous Gnome 3.38.3
Lors de l'installation j'ai demandé à écraser Windows, je suis sous Linux depuis 17 ans, ça fait longtemps que je n'en ai plus besoin.
Je me suis aperçue l'autre jour que ce n'avait pas été le cas, et c'est peut être de là que vient le problème.
En effet, il y a eu message d'erreur qui disait qu'il fallait que je lance un "chkdsk" sur Windows et que je relance deux fois.
Je ne vous explique pas le temps qu'il m'a fallut pour retrouver des trucs, genre "cmd" pour lancer la console. Mon mari ne connaissait même pas !
Bon, "chkdsk" n'a pas fonctionné. J'ai eu un message d"erreur que je n'ai pas noté, mais qui faisait référence à "RAW". Je ne sais pas ce que c'est.

Bonjour
Dans un premier temps, on va regarder l'état physique du disque dur externe avec l'application smartmontools
https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/smartmontools
1) installation
sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends smartmontools
2) Tu donneras alors le retour de cette commande
sudo smartctl -s on -a /dev/sdX
en remplaçant X par la bonne lettre
Comme c'est un disque externe , il est possible la première réponse ne soit pas complète. Elle donnera alors une explication pour les paramètres manquants
Tu donneras aussi ce retour
dmesg | tail -200

Il y a 4 secteurs de 512 octets détectés comme illisibles.
S'ils appartiennent à un fichier, on peut faire le nécessaire pour masquer, le fichier redevient lisible, mais le logiciel qui le lit peut le déclarer inconsistant.
S'il appartiennent a un répertoire, le contenu du répertoire est perdu.
Peux-tu en dire plus sur l'accès actuel avec ubuntu?
En fait ces quatre secteurs logiques doivent être consécutifs et appartiennent à un seul secteur physique.
et c'est la première fois
A mon avis, il faut tenter une réparation plutôt que de mettre immédiatement le disque à la déchetterie.
Puis faire un état de lieux.
La suite va arriver.
Nota, je n'ai pas besoin du retour, mais pour ma culture tu peux refaire avec
sudo journalctl | grep "Buffer I/O error on dev sd" | head -200 |wc -l
Ce qui permettra de connaître le nombre de fois.

Donc en standard malgré deux tentatives, tu ne peux pas lire.
On répare
Sect=6293512
for (( I=0; I < 8; I++ )); do
sudo hdparm --yes-i-know-what-i-am-doing --write-sector $(($Sect+$I)) /dev/sde
sleep 5
done
et on vérifie que c'est bien fait
Sect=Sect=6293512
for (( I=0; I < 8; I++ )); do
sudo dd if=/dev/sde count=1 skip=$Sect 2>/dev/null | hexdump -C
sleep 1
done
Puis lorsque tu auras un peu de temps, on va inspecter tout le disque.
A l'issue du passage, on en saura un peu plus sur sa qualité.
Voir la documentation smartmontools pour plus d'explications
1) Lancement du premier quart
sudo smartctl -t select,0-499999999 /dev/sde ### pour 250 Gio.
2) Suivi de l'évolution
sudo smartctl -a /dev/sde | grep left
Cette commande est à faire de temps en temps,
Ou la même chose en automatique. Il faudra alors faire le tuer par Ctrl c lorsque cela semble terminé.
for ((i=0;;i++)); do sudo smartctl -a /dev/sde | grep left ;sleep 60;done;
Cela peut se finir pour trois raisons
Arrêt de l'ordinateur avant la fin. Dans ce contexte, normalement la reprise devrait être automatique au redémarrage de l'ordinateur.
Fin normale dans ce cas, on passe à la suite.
Fin anormale, Dans ce cas, tu postes le retour de la commande
sudo smartctl -q errorsonly -H -l selftest /dev/sde
La commande de rectification.... avec ce petit script, Il faut modifier la première ligne avec le bon numéro

sudo hdparm --yes-i-know-what-i-am-doing --read-sector $(($Sect+$I)) /dev/sde
sleep 5
done
Si c'est plein de zéros, on ne s'est pas trompé d'endroit, On force alors l'écriture. Petit script. Changer aussi la première ligne

for (( I=0; I < 8; I++ )); do
sudo hdparm --yes-i-know-what-i-am-doing --write-sector $(($Sect+$I)) /dev/sde
sleep 5
done
Elle devra être faite avant de pouvoir passer au paquet suivant
3) On passe au paquet suivant avec la commande
sudo smartctl -t select,next /dev/sde
et tu termines en republiant
sudo smartctl -a /dev/sde

C'est bien réparé puisque lisible en standard.
Tu peux maintenant regarder tes fichiers. Puis penser au test de lecture de la totalité du disque.
