[Résolu] Passage en écran basique 640*480

Bonsoir,
mon PC vient de passer en 680*480 après un freeze écran, suivi d'un reboot, sous Ubuntu 20.04, récemment remonté.
La carte graphique est une GA-AB350M Gaming3 avec un écran Iliama de 26 pouces.

Ps1 : Ryzen 7, 8 cores, 1 ssd de 256 Go (Ubuntu) et un DD interne de 4 TO classique, 16Go de RAM.

Montre, en te servant du Retour utilisable de commande :

si par "installé pilote nvidia'', tu parles de la demande du #7, la réponse est oui et plusieurs fois.
-La configuration écran reste à 640*480 qui est la seule option.
      J'imagine que ça doit une espèce de sécurité d'Ubuntu qui doit assurer seul un service minimum en cas de problème pour éviter un écran noir par ex.
      Si quelqu'un a la réponse ce serait interessant.
-Suis au boulot, ferai le test du #11 vers 19 / 20H.

lsmod | sort

Pour se faire une meilleure idée de ce qui est installé ou non, tu pourrais poster une copie d'écran de ton onglet «Pilotes additionnels» dans «Logiciels & Mises à jour»

J'ai posé ma question car au message #9, on voit que le pilote utilisé est le pilote libre nouveau. Ce devrait être nvidia. J'en déduis donc que le pilote propriétaire doit être mal installé. En tout, il ne se charge pas.

La commande "lsmod" indiqué par Ylag devrait nous l'indiquer.


Un problème résolu ? Indiquez le en modifiant le titre du sujet.

La capture d'écran au #19 indique que le pilote proprio nvidia-470 serait bien installé => ce que semble corroborer le résultat de dpkg -l | grep -i nvidia au
message #17.
Par contre, le résultat de la commande lsmod | sort ne détecte aucun pilote graphique de chargé, ni le nvidia-470, ni le pilote libre «nouveau».

Peut-être des résidus de «blacklistage» ?
Pour vérifier, faire voir le résultat de :

grep -R -E "nouveau|nvidia" /etc/modprobe.d/

...et aussi vérifier d'éventuelles options passées au noyau lors du démarrage :

cat /proc/cmdline

Sinon je sèche, désolé...

Il y a du mieux :
en passant par la logithèque et en supprimant, puis réinstallant ''nvidia setting'', le gestionnaire de màj a déclenché une (longue) màj partielle.
ce qui signe donc le constat d'un problème..
-Au bilan, j'ai récupéré mon écran, Alleluyah !!
-A l'évidence, Ubuntu était dans un état instable dont il ne sortait pas.
Pourquoi et comment cela a t-il été possible ? Mystères et boules de gommes..
Pas sur qu'il n'y ait pas encore d'autres problèmes à venir, mais bon..

Oui je suis d'accord bien sur, il faut séparer les réponses.
Je dirais simplement que je faisais du tranfert de résultats, via clé USB, de lignes de commandes vers un vieux Toshiba en W8 avec une souris qui ne marchait pas.
Du genre le curseur qui freezait tous 5 cm de déplacement écran, ce qui impliquait de débrancher la souris  à chaque fois pour le récupérer, merci toshiba qui ne sait pas écrire un driver..
