Installation d'ubuntu sur un hdd externe
Bonjour !
J'ai installer Ubuntu sur un hdd externe, dans une partition de 100GO, mais au démarrage de mon pc, je ne peux pas choisir entre ubuntu et windows, alors que mon hdd est brancher. Avez-vous une solution ?

Bonjour,
Démarre ton ordi sur le support qui t'a servi pour l'installation de Ubuntu (LiveUSB ou LiveDVD), sélectionne "Essayer Ubuntu" afin de démarrer une session d'essai (on appelle ça une "session live"). Fais un Boot-info depuis cette session live et donne l'URL de ce Boot-info dans ta réponse.

Bonsoir
Je pense que lorsque tu démarres, cela lance immédiatement le UBUNTU du disque externe.
A mon avis, si tu le débranches, cela devrait lancer le windows du disque interne. C'est comme cela que je conçois le fonctionnement.

Je ne vois absolument pas l'intêrêt de devoir brancher le disque externe pour lancer windows.
Mais si tu tiens à ce que cela soit comme cela, fais la réparation recommandée.
A moins que tu sois dans un contexte oû la prise USB est difficilement accessible.
Cependant, il existe une option de créer une partition de boot EFI dans le disque externe et de faire une réparation personnalisée qui l'utiliserait.

Note que 36 Mo est bien suffisant.

Boot files: mais tu n'as pas positionné le mbr de SDA pour recevoir l'amorcage.

La réparation standard de boot-repair va installer le dual boot sur le nvme.
Ce qui va t'obliger à avoir toujours le disque externe pour booter.
Je te propose cela.
- Booter avec le support d'installation.
- Lancer gparted.
- Rétrécir une partition de SDA de 36 Mo.
- Fabriquer une partition Fat32 avec cet espace libéré.
- Y mettre le drapeau ESP
- Installer boot-repair
- Choisir la réparation personnalisée
- Sélectionner la partition de boot fat32 du disque dur au lieu de celle du nvme pour le point de montage /boot/efi.
- Faire la réparation.
- Vérifier que c'est OK.
Si cela continue de ne pas fonctionner.
Je te propose cela.
- Booter avec le support d'installation.
- Lancer gparted.
- Rétrécir une partition du nvme de 1 Go.
- Fabriquer une partition ext2 avec cet espace libéré.
- Installer boot-repair
- Choisir la réparation personnalisée
- Sélectionner la partition de boot fat32 du nvme pour le point de montage /boot/efi
- Sélectionner la partition de 2 Mo que tu viens de créer dans le nvme pour point de montage /boot
- Faire la réparation.
- Tester. Tu devrais alors avoir une grille d'affichage du dual boot proposée sans que le disque dur soit monté. Si tu choisis windows c'est quand même mieux. Mais si tu choisis UBUNTU, assure-toi que le disque dur est branché avant de valider.
