manque choix installation ubuntu 20 dual boot windows 10

bonjour,

je tombe face 0 une problématique que je n ai pas connu dans le passé.

- ANCIENNE CONFIGURATION WINDOWS 8.1 + UBUNTU V18 en dual boot.
- PC PORTABLE ASUS série s300c.
- BIOS LEGACY

1- changement DDR pour un SSD (crucial SERIE BB). Réinstallation total de WINDOWS APRES FORMATAGE TOTAL.

2- lors de l installation de UBUNTU. je n ai pas le choix de l installation a cote de WINDOWS. j ai uniquement "AUTRE" et quoi que je fasse en formatage FAT32 ou EFI ou passeÉen EXT4. rien ne fonctionne.
truc étrange au démarrage en clé USB il y a une ligne en UEFI alors que je suis en LEGACY

A la fermeture il y a un message d erreur jamais vue AUPARAVANT

Re : manque choix installation ubuntu 20 dual boot windows 10

Bonjour.
Cas classique.
Windows est installé en mode LEGACY et tu veux installer UBUNTU en EFI.

Quatre possibilités
-Tu reformates le SSD avec une table de partition GPT au lieu de MSDOS et tu réinstalles windows.
-Tu lances windows et tu lances MBR2GPT afin qu'il se transforme en EFI. ( https://docs.microsoft.com/fr-fr/window … mbr-to-gpt )
-Au moment de booter ubuntu, tu choisis le module de boot LEGACY au lieu du module de boot EFI.
-Tu installes par le choix autre chose puis tu lances boot-repair pour faire une conversion LEGACY.

Nota. j'ai du mal comprendre comment windows met en route.
