Xubuntu Choix utilisateurs - Comment modifier lightdm.conf ?
Bonsoir,
depuis la réinstallation de Xubuntu 18.04 que j'ai faite sur l'ordinateur de mes parents, je n'ai plus accès au choix des utilisateurs au démarrage.
Cela file directement sur la session de mon papa (domi) et maintenant, même en le déconnectant, je ne retrouve plus la fenêtre me permettant de choisir entre lui et ma maman (gene) (alors que les premiers jours ça fonctionnait).
Le fichier de configuration /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf étant le suivant
1 [Seat:*]
2 autologin-guest=false
3 autologin-user=domi
4 autologin-user-timeout=0
j'ai essayé d'y ajouter une ligne
1 [Seat:*]
2 autologin-guest=false
3 autologin-user=domi
4 autologin-user=gene
5 autologin-user-timeout=0
mais dans ce cas, j'arrive chez maman sans possibilité de retourner chez papa ...
Quelle modification apporter à ce fichier ou à un autre pour retrouver la possibilité de passer d'une session à l'autre ?

Salut,
Pour avoir le choix à la connexion, il faut commenter les lignes "autologin" avec un #.
Tu ne peux avoir du manuel et de l'automatique en même temps.

Donc je commente tout ?

j'ai enfin eu le temps de tester la solution proposée mais ça ne résout pas le problème.
Je me retrouve avec un écran noir qui scintille toutes les 3-4 secondes comme si une tentative d'affichage se faisait et il m'a donc fallu aller décommenter les 2 lignes depuis une clé Live-USB pour pouvoir me connecter de nouveau.
Le problème semble ailleurs, mais où ?

la ligne de commande suivante :
grep -Env "^#|^$" /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf{,.d/*.conf}
Dans ce retour de commande, on pourra voir toutes les directives qui sont actuellement prises en compte par lightdm

pour que la liste des comptes utilisateur soit accessible
et que la connexion automatique à un compte utilisateur ne soit plus activée,
il faudrait que ton fichier /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
ne contienne que :
[Seat:*]
greeter-hide-users=false

Je viens de vérifier sur un système Xubuntu que je viens d'installer.
il te suffit d'entrer la ligne de commandes suivante :
sudo mv /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf{,.désactivé}
Cette ligne de commandes va renommer le fichier /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf en /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf.désactivé
ce qui désactivera la connexion automatique, et aux démarrages suivant du système xubuntu,
tu pourras choisir le nom du compte à utiliser et entrer son mot de passe.

Si plus tard, tu veux revenir à la connexion automatique comme elle l'est actuellement,
tu pourras réactiver le fichier en lançant la ligne de commandes suivantes :
sudo mv /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf{.désactivé,}
Cette ligne de commandes va renommer le fichier /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf.désactivé en /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

On peut voir dans le retour de commande ci-dessus que le fichier /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf est toujours pris en compte par lightdm
il n'a donc pas été renommé par la ligne de commande que je t'avais proposé d'entrer.
Donne nous le retour de la ligne de commandes suivante :
sudo mv /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf{,.désactivé}; ls -l /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf*

j'avais dû seulement déconnecter et reconnecter mais là je viens de tester en redémarrant et j'obtiens l'écran noir scintillant.
Dans la foulée, je viens de tester, en redémarrant, la proposition de MicP
[Seat:*]
greeter-hide-users=false
et c'est pareil ;o((

C'est qu'après avoir testé ta proposition, je me suis retrouvé avec l'écran noir scintillant et qu'il m'a donc fallu remettre le fichier d'origine pour pouvoir revenir sous Xubuntu.
Je vais néanmoins tester en redémarrant car je ne sais plus si j'avais juste déconnecté ou redémarré.
