[Résolu] [Dell 7490] Wifi : ça s'en va et ça (ne) revient (pas)
Bonjour,
Après bien des soucis j'ai fini par réussir à installer Xubuntu 22.04 sur une carte SD sur un Dell Latitude 7490. Mais souci : pas de wifi.
Pour les raisons décrites dans l'autre sujet j'avais commencé à installer la 18.04. A l'installation (hier) j'avais le wifi, et après l'installation aussi, je pouvais accéder à interner, etc...
Aujourd'hui je reboote sur Xubuntu, et là pas de wifi. Et je ne vois pas ce que j'aurais bien pu faire entre les deux pour perdre le wifi
Je décide de réinstaller... Toujours pas de wifi. En allant dans "Settings --> Addtional drivers" il me dit que le driver Intel *** ne fonctionne pas et est donc désactivé
J'upgrade vers 20.04, puis 22.04, en espérant que ça résolve le probème, mais nada... Dans "Additional drivers" il n'y a plus rien d'écrit, du coup je ne sais plus quel était le message exact
Ce laptop a Windows 10 Pro installé sur le disque interne, et le wifi marche très bien quand je boote dessus
J'ai fait un peu de recherches, les problème de wifi sont assez courants sur les Dell avec Ubuntu (ou même d'autres distribs), pour autant je n'ai pas trouvé de solution qui fonctionne pour moi...
Si quelqu'un a une idée...

Voir le § 7 (En présence d'un dual-boot) du [Tuto] Pas de Wi-fi ? Eléments importants à vérifier

"Fast-Boot" est probablement activé sous Windows et dans le BIOS/UEFI et Windows ne s'arrêtera pas complètement. Cela conduit à des erreurs comme celle-ci. Les pilotes pour la carte Intel sont inclus dans le noyau, donc aucun autre n'est nécessaire

Bingo...
C'était bien ça: en rebootant à partir de Windows plutôt que de l'éteindre, je récupère bien le wifi dans Xubuntu. En plus je suspectais un truc dans le genre, mais je faisais pile l'inverse de ce qu'il fallait : je prenais bien soin d'éteindre Windows en me disant qu'il n'y aurait rien qui traînerait... j'avais oublié le coup du fast boot. J'avais aussi essayé de le mettre en hibernation, mais ça bloque le wifi sous Linux aussi.
